David Frum Is Scum

Original Article

There’s little we can add to make the case that David Frum — the left’s favorite “Republican” — is a detestable human being that he doesn’t provide himself in his 1,500-word screed written in the immediate wake of the assassination attempt on Donald Trump. In it, he blames Trump for the bullet that came within millimeters of killing him and the others that killed and injured attendees at Saturday’s rally, while completely and totally ignoring the viciousness and violence perpetrated by the left — not just against Trump, but against all Republicans, including the guy he used to work for, George W. Bush.

So, with "Republicans" like Frum, who needs enemies? This article just goes to show the Demonrats do not have a corner on the leftist, lunatic fringe who have no grasp whatsoever on reality. After reading the garbage this guy spewed, the headline is unequivocally, and absolutely correct! Oh yeah, one other thing. Rino = Demonrat. How's about that for a QED?

As I've often noted here, I live in Europe, so I decided to see what the European press was saying about the assassination attempt. I wish I hadn't. The Belgian Dutch-language news site, VRT managed to out-Frum Frum, touching on every Democrat talking point: "It was Trump's own fault because of his intemperate rhetoric"; "AR-15's are military-grade weapons that Americans foolishly let civilians purchase"; "Thomas Crooks was a Republican". If you think journalists in the US are bad (and they are), European ones are even worse. I wanna move back to Texas.

Former President Donald Trump’s selection of Ohio Sen. J.D. Vance might surprise you, but it shouldn’t. The 39-year-old first-term senator is a solid, smart pick who will not only bring youth, energy and vigor to the ticket, but also a wealth of hard life experience, highly unusual for someone so young. Trump’s announcement gave the bare bones of why he selected Vance over the many others who vied to be his running mate: After lengthy deliberation and thought, and considering the tremendous talents of many others, I have decided that the person best suited to assume the position of Vice

If you want to know just how dire the federal government’s fiscal situation is, consider the fact that interest on the national debt for the first time now tops every other spending category but one, according to the latest monthly report from the Treasury. This “achievement” has been brought to you by President Joe Biden. According to the report, the federal government spent $682 billion in “net interest” payments so far this fiscal year (which ends Sept. 30). That’s more than all the money spent on “health” ($670 billion), national defense ($644 billion), and income security — which includes payments to the poor ($508 billion).

We can’t go another day, another day, without explaining what he’s doing, and we have to go after him.” Five days later, someone apparently took Biden up on his word and tried to assassinate Donald Trump at a campaign rally north of Pittsburgh.

Given how much renewable energy has been promoted, dressed up, coddled, favored and subsidized over the last decade or two, it would be understandable to believe that a green transition is well under way. But don’t be fooled by the foolish. Oil and gas are still king. Not quite a year ago, the New York Times’ headline screamed that “The Clean Energy Future Is Arriving Faster Than You Think.” Another headline from last year, this one on the govtech.com website, told us “California Hits New Record for Renewable Energy Generation.” Just before Christmas, the British Guardian wanted readers to know about “Uruguay’s green power revolution”

Vox.com, one of those “champions of democracy” on the left, is now struggling with a problem. What if the democratic process results in a Donald Trump victory? As a result, it’s now questioning whether the millions of Democratic voters who cast their ballots in the primaries for Joe Biden – in free and open primaries – should have their voices silenced by an elite cabal because of an increasing fear that Biden will lose to Trump. Here’s how the alleged “explanatory journalism” site’s senior politics correspondent Andrew Prokop put it earlier this week:

Recall when electric vehicles were our future, the next generation of automobiles that were going to save us? It’s been a fairly tale from the beginning, as people are beginning to see. About six weeks ago, President Joe Biden bragged during a Rose Garden event that “thanks to my bipartisan Infrastructure Law, we’re building a network of 500,000 charging stations all across America.” At that moment, only seven stations had been built – three years after the bill was passed. The lack of progress cannot be explained away by the challenges faced by any infrastructure buildout, though Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg

This is a scary moment in America, and we need a leader who won’t exploit the chaos. Someone who can strike just the right tone – with humanity, and moral clarity – that trickles down to other leaders in both parties, reminding us of our values, our better selves. BUTLER, Pa. — The Secret Service blamed local police for failing to secure the rooftop from which gunman Thomas Matthew Crooks attempted to assassinate former President Donald Trump, insisting it was outside the perimeter the federal agency was tasked with protecting. Instead, securing and patrolling the factory grounds of AGR International Inc. — located about 130 yards from the stage where Trump was speaking Saturday — was the responsibility of local Pennsylvania police, Secret Service representative Anthony Gugliemi said, according to the New York Times. The Secret Service was only tasked with covering the grounds where Trump’s rally took place, with local police being recruited to assist with those efforts and
