I can't recall anyone uttering anything this irresponsible from the White House podium. Ever.
In the first White House presser since the latest attempt on former President Trump's life, Biden Administration spokeswoman Karine Jean-Pierre shockingly doubled down on vile, anti-Trump rhetoric that arguably led to yet another attempted assassination attempt.
In a jujitsu of what she thinks passes for logic, Karine Jean-Pierre told the White House press corps that Trump was a threat to democracy. When Fox News White House reporter Peter Doocy challenged her, KJP told Doocy that his question was "dangerous."

Vice-president Kamala Harris has signalled her openness to the idea of reparations for black people, saying she would not rule out executive action if she wins the White House in November.
Speaking to the National Association of Black Journalists on Tuesday, Harris was asked about her position on the issue, which is typically confined to Black Lives Matter activists and far-left radicals.
“Do you have a position on whether that [reparations] should happen — this [reparations] commission should happen through executive order or via Congress?” she was asked by Politico’s Eugene Daniels.
Harris responded:
I think Congress ultimately will have the ability to do this work.

Senators Chuck Grassley (IA) and Ron Johnson (WI) uncovered more Biden-Harris lawfare election interference.
Last month, with just 90 days to go until Election Day, The Washington Post revealed new details about a previously unknown federal probe into whether Egypt’s President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi attempted to funnel $10 million into Donald Trump’s 2016 presidential campaign.
This investigation, which remained undisclosed for over three years, aimed to determine if a $10 million donation made by Trump to his campaign shortly before the election was actually financed by the Egyptian government.
This is the same agency that ignored the Biden crime family.

Being president is a 'dangerous job,' Donald Trump told a Michigan crowd of supporters Tuesday night, telling cheering supporters the attempt on his life only proved he mattered.
'You know, only consequential presidents get shot at,' Trump said at a town hall in Flint where he spoke at length about the dramatic incident.
It was one of several light-hearted comments he sprinkled into his remarks, while pointing to the danger that comes with his public profile. After a pair of assassination attempts, he compared the job to high risk occupations like race car driver and bullfighter.

Flint — Republican Donald Trump told a crowd in Flint Tuesday that Michigan had become an "afterthought" in the auto industry and that "only consequential presidents get shot at," two days after a man apparently attempted to assassinate the former president on a golf course in Florida.
Trump made the comment about the shootings at the beginning of a town hall inside inside Dort Financial Center, a venue that's traditionally home to a hockey team. He was detailing his plan to place tariffs on vehicles built by Chinese manufacturers in Mexico.
"You wonder why I get shot at, right?" Trump asked. "Only consequential presidents get shot at."

We actually have two questions that require answers in the wake of Sunday's assassination attempt on Donald Trump by a (well-)"known wolf". The first question: Why didn't federal security and intel agencies take Ryan Wesley Routh seriously? He had a decades-long track record of criminal activity, and numerous people tried to warn the FBI, Homeland Security, and the State Department of his dangerous nature.
We may wait a long time for a satisfactory explanation for that question. Thanks to Tanya Lukyanova, however, we have a good answer to the second question: Why did American media outlets take Routh seriously?

In his opening monologue for Monday’s eponymous show, his first since the second assassination attempt on former President Trump, NewsNation host Chris Cuomo voiced his disgust and frustration with how many in the media and in the country were reacting to it. While he didn’t like that Trump had called Democrats a threat to democracy, he was “ashamed” of those who were being flippant, mocking, and lacking empathy. He even disclosed that he made a personal call to Trump to check in on him.
Cuomo explained that he had gone through several drafts for his opening monologue but “it wasn't even landing right with me. So, I called former President Trump.”

In a press conference on Tuesday, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) appeared in a press conference to detail why his state would take the lead on the investigation into the second assassination attempt on former President Donald Trump.
To recap, on Sunday, United States Secret Service discovered that an armed man was hiding in the bushes at Trump International Golf Club in West Palm Beach, Florida. An agent noticed the muzzle of a rifle in the shrubs, the Associated Press noted, and fired at the gunman. The suspect, Ryan Wesley Routh, fled the scene but was later tracked down and arrested. The FBI confirmed that Trump was the target.

Such documents are not required for Arizona residents to register to vote or cast a ballot in federal elections. Sky News Arabia quotes sources saying that today’s large-scale pager attack in Lebanon was possible because the Mossad spy agency got hold of Hezbollah’s communication devices before they were handed over to the terror group.
The Israeli spy agency placed a quantity of PETN, a highly explosive material, on the batteries of the devices, and detonated them by raising the temperature of the batteries from afar, the source says.
The Wall Street Journal reported earlier that some Hezbollah members felt their pagers heating up and disposed of them before the series of explosions that killed at least nine and injured about 2,800 people.

America has come a long way since the 18th century, and while we have a great many feats of heroism and genius to reflect on with pride, we are also in grave danger of torching the Constitution altogether and destroying the republic our forefathers fought so hard to found. Twice in one summer now, a Democrat with a long gun was able to get within a few hundred yards of former President Trump. You gotta hand it to the Left, they're nothing if not creative. What used to be the October Surprise came to be the tedious October Expected Non-Surprise. So they've introduced the First July Surprise (assassination attempt), the Second July Surprise (palace coup against their own president), and the September Surprise (second assassination attempt). From this pattern, Kamala better hope her poll numbers hold steady lest she find herself "surprised" into a Barco lounger watching Matlock next to a creepy hair sniffer.

We're counting down to the election now and everyone is looking at the polls, focus groups, and the potential signs.
But I'll hand it to CBS: they're actually sending people out into the field to talk with people, and they're coming back with reactions that may fly in the face of some of the polls. As we reported five days ago, they sent Major Garrett out into the field in Michigan, and he came back with the report that the support for former President Donald Trump was "real and resilient." That was just as a local Detroit News poll and an Insider Advantage survey were putting Trump ahead.

Steve Benen, a former blogger for the Washington Monthly and current producer and contributor to "The Rachel Maddow Show," thinks the Mar-a-Largo would-be assassin was justified in wanting to take a shot at former president Donald Trump.
Or, in Benen's words, "the alleged would-be shooter." Benen is complaining that Donald Trump is blaming Democrats for using violent rhetoric that motivated Routh to try to kill the former president.
But Routh is right, claims Benen. Trump is, indeed, a "threat to democracy." [Tweet]
First of all, it takes a special kind of moral blindness to excuse a would-be presidential assassin.

You always hear it after a bear or lion eats a person – they say they have to kill the animal because it now has a taste for humans and won’t stop. This always struck me as odd, even funny, as though we humans are so delicious that one taste of us is so euphoric that they couldn’t possibly go back to salmon, elk or whatever.
That is, of course, not really the reason the animals have changed, the story goes. It’s that the fear of humans – their desire to avoid us because we’re strange to them – is gone, and now they will associate us with food.

Democrats have complete control of the state government in Colorado. The last Republican governor left office in 2007. The last time Republicans controlled one of the legislature's two chambers was 2019, and Democrats currently hold a supermajority in both the House and the Senate. Over the past decade, Democrats have enacted a number of new gun control laws, including "universal" background checks, a ban on "large capacity" magazines, and a "red flag" law, as well as repealing firearms preemption and allowing localities to pass their own measures more restrictive than state law. So how's that working out for the state?

Ahead of the second assassination attempt against former President Donald Trump, many influential actors, journalists, and influencers warned that Trump is an “existential threat” to democracy, compared him to Nazi dictator Adolf Hitler, and suggested he or his supporters should face violent attacks. The statement followed almost a year of relentless attacks on Israel, not only by Iran's proxies -- Hamas, Hezbollah and the Houthis -- but by Iran itself, and probably several tons of unverified propaganda by Hamas that Israel is supposedly committing "war crimes."
Even South Africa is seeking to extend the deadline for presenting evidence against Israel at the International Court of Justice, for lack of evidence of its allegations of genocide. So far, all evidence points to Israel being "the world's most moral army." Meanwhile, the same cannot be said for the entities attacking it.

Anyone who works in media knows it's a race against time to find the social-media content of anyone involved in a high-profile crime. Whether it's a school shooter or a political assassin like Ryan Routh, social media companies immediately lock down the accounts and hide them from the public. Yesterday, just minutes after Routh's name began circulating, his X and Facebook accounts were disabled.
Fortunately, some quick-thinking individuals were able to access the social media posts before they were memory-holed, so we now know that Routh hated Trump and had extreme left-wing political views.

Democrats were once the party of free speech.
The ACLU and “truth to power” were part of the Democrat party truth brigade. Yet now Democrats and the left are stifling free speech so fast it would make George Orwell’s head spin.
If Orwell was alive today, his sequel to 1984 would be 2024, replacing Winston Smith with Elon Musk or Telegram CEO Pavel Durov.
Censorship, once popular in communist China, Hitler’s Germany, and Mao’s China, is the new Converse sneakers, mom jeans, and cardigans, popular decades ago and now making a comeback.

Sen. JD Vance (R-Ohio) argued Monday the fact that “no one has tried to kill Kamala Harris” is “pretty strong evidence” that Democrats “need to tone down the rhetoric” — then promised to do his part to help ease political division.
“I’m not going to say we’re always perfect. I’m not going to say that conservatives always get things exactly right, but you know, the big difference between conservatives and liberals is that we no one has tried to kill Kamala Harris in the last couple of months, and two people now have tried to kill Donald Trump,” Vance said to a large crowd at a Faith and Freedom Coalition event.

To tell the truth, I don't know a whole lot about Jeremey Kauffman, who is listed as “an American entrepreneur and political activist known for founding and leading the blockchain-based filesharing project LBRY. Kauffman is also known as a vocal supporter and activist within the Free State Project (FSP) and a former board member. “ Has he made some statements on Twitter that have upset the always-triggered class? A search would seem to indicate so, with some calling him a pedophile, although my reading of that interaction leads me to believe that he was just being outlandish in his comments.

Three Jewish organizations have issued a travel warning and are calling for an economic boycott of Middlesex County, Massachusetts after a pro-Israel demonstrator was charged with assault and battery after shooting a man who attacked him during a rally last week. Betar USA, Magen Herut Canada, and Shields of David say until all charges are dropped against Scott Hayes, Americans should stay away from the county in the Boston suburbs, including the town of Newton where the attack took place.

OAKMONT, Pennsylvania -- Four years ago, Douglas Hohman turned old enough to vote. He had turned 18 years old in May, yet, for a number of reasons, he never got around to voting for either President Joe Biden or former President Donald Trump.
The year 2020, Hohman explained, was not the best for him.
"It was my senior year when COVID hit, and I missed out on so many things I had been looking forward to: my senior prom on the Gateway Clipper, the senior walk parents do with their parents at Penn Hill High School football field at graduation, and just overall sense of belonging," Hohman said.

Jumpin’ ju-ju bones, I think we may have found Wilbur Ross’s replacement. In this segment on CNBC Trump transition team leader Howard Lutnick, explains simple MAGAnomics to the panel. Make this guy both Commerce Secretary and Chairman of the National Economic Council in 2025!
Starting with an explanation of his role within the Trump 2025 transition team, Lutnick then walks through the MAGAnomic principles enmeshed in President Trump’s economic policies. Mr. Lutnick begins the policy part by outlining how energy restrictions are driving inflation through higher costs of goods. Yes. Yes and Yes.

The remarkable thing about Russell Rickford is that there is nothing extraordinary about him.
The Cornell University prof gained notoriety in the immediate aftermath of Oct. 7 by declaring that he found the terror attack “exhilarating.”
He wasn’t specific about what was more exciting to him — the slaughter of hundreds of people at a music festival, including wounded people at point-blank range, the mass hostage-taking, the burning of people alive or the horrific sexual violence.
For the committed anti-Zionist, there must be so many thrilling moments to choose from.
Afterward, Rickford apologized for his “horrible choice of words.”

A judge denied Robert F. Kennedy’s request Monday to erase his name from the presidential ballot in swing state Wisconsin, ruling that state law requires candidates to remain on the ballot unless they die.
Dane County Circuit Judge Stephen Ehlke’s decision marks the latest twist in Kennedy’s push to remove himself from ballots in key battleground states where the race between Republican Donald Trump and Democratic nominee Kamala Harris is tight.
Kennedy suspended his campaign in August and endorsed Trump.

CNN’s Dana Bash on Monday claimed that former President Donald Trump’s attempted assassination suspect Ryan Wesley Routh’s anti-Trump social media posts have no relation to Vice President Kamala Harris and President Joe Biden.
Trump accused Harris and Biden in a Monday Fox News Digital interview of espousing “rhetoric” that he claimed is contributing to the attempts on his life. Bash, on “CNN Newsroom with Wolf Blitzer,” noted that both Harris and Biden have said they are grateful Trump was unscathed after the second attempt and dismissed any suggestion that they influenced Routh, despite his posts, including one mirroring their repeated claim that “democracy is on the ballot,” according to reports.

Former President Donald Trump said, “There’s something going on, perhaps it’s God,” one day after surviving a second assassination attempt within the span of two months.
“There’s something going on, perhaps it’s God wanting me to be president to save this country,” Trump quipped in a Monday night X Space. “Nobody knows.” (X) Trump then recalled the first assassination attempt against him, saying, “When I made the right turn, it’s very unusual because the people weren’t on the right, the people who were standing out in front of me. When I turned my head at an exact 90 degree angle, the bullet came zooming by and clipped my ear.”

The tweet from The Hill sounded ominous: an NAACP poll showed that black voters are more enthused to vote in 2024 than in 2008. However, it only takes about three seconds to know that’s facially untrue. Kamala Harris isn’t Barack Obama. Harris isn’t leading in the battleground polls since we know the Trump vote is underestimated—she’s nowhere near where she needs to be to offset that polling conundrum. Obama had political skills and could efficiently deliver a message; it resonated. Harris is a cackling idiot who never answers the question. Obama was excellent in interviews, while Harris is a trainwreck from East Palestine, Ohio.

Twice-failed presidential hopeful Hillary Clinton on Monday evening joined MSNBC’s chief conspiracy theorist and Russian propaganda host Rachel Maddow to discuss the 2024 election.
Hillary Clinton immediately launched an attack on President Trump and said he is a danger our country and world just one day after a second assassination attempt against him.
“The press needs to create a consistent narrative about how dangerous Trump is,” Hillary Clinton said.

Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton said Monday on MSNBC’s “The Rachel Maddow Show” that former President Donald Trump’s politics of “hate and division” put the United States’ security in danger.
Clinton said, “I’m very hopeful, and even optimistic that Americans who do not want to see a continuation of this politics of hate and division will reject Trump.”
She continued, “The object in this case is Donald Trump, his demagoguery, his danger to our country and the world. You know, they were merciless about what they saw as President Biden’s problems in the debate and calling for him to withdraw.

Saudi diplomat and former intelligence chief Turki al-Faisal recently lamented the weak response by the administration of U.S. President Joe Biden and the greater West to Yemen’s Houthi terrorists disrupting commercial shipping in the Red Sea, the Guardian reported on Sunday, dismissing “pinprick bombings” as insufficient.
The British Guardian newspaper was relaying comments that al-Faisal made during an appearance at London’s Chatham House to discuss the current turmoil in the Middle East. The Houthi terrorist movement, which relies heavily on support from Saudi Arabia’s longtime geopolitical rival Iran, has dramatically expanded its international profile

Former President Donald Trump said on Monday that President Joe Biden called him in the wake of his second assassination attempt and “couldn’t have been nicer.”
Trump revealed during a Spaces conversation on X that the president called to discuss Secret Service protection.
“We had a very nice call. It was about Secret Service protection,” Trump said.
“He couldn’t have been nicer,” Trump added.
The White House also described the call as “cordial” and that the president “conveyed his relief that [Trump] is safe.”

Following the second assassination attempt on Donald Trump, a common refrain from the left was that political violence is a "both sides" issue. MSNBC tried that line multiple times, as did some of the major newspapers, with the idea being that you can't call out Democrat rhetoric because Republican rhetoric has caused issues as well. So what was the evidence for that equivocation being used as a way to deflect from someone trying to murder Trump again? CNN's Dana Bash provided a perfect example of it when she accused JD Vance of inciting "bomb threats" in Springfield, OH. To be sure, the claim
