Being president is a 'dangerous job,' Donald Trump told a Michigan crowd of supporters Tuesday night, telling cheering supporters the attempt on his life only proved he mattered. 'You know, only consequential presidents get shot at,' Trump said at a town hall in Flint where he spoke at length about the dramatic incident. It was one of several light-hearted comments he sprinkled into his remarks, while pointing to the danger that comes with his public profile. After a pair of assassination attempts, he compared the job to high risk occupations like race car driver and bullfighter.

William McKinley was shot and killed and I can't remember anything he did that was particularly consequential. Our President Donald Trump has been vilified, impeached, rail roaded by kangaroo courts and shot. He has journeyed from just a fabulous president to one of the most heroic figures is all of history. MAGA.

Is this another "inside job" or mob-like hit job? We'll probably find out in about 4 or 5 years.

An indirect way of saying that nobody would bother targeting Biden or Harris because the Left is overloaded with morons who could take their places.

Uniondale, N.Y. — Former President Donald Trump basked in the adulation of thousands of supporters on Long Island Wednesday night — insisting that recent attempts to kill him had “hardened my resolve” and predicting he would be the first Republican candidate to win New York state in 40 years. “These encounters with death have not broken my will,” the Republican presidential nominee, 78, told roughly 16,000 fans at the Nassau Coliseum three days after a gunman was found hiding in the bushes of Trump’s namesake Florida golf course as he played a round. “They have really given me a much bigger and stronger mission. They’ve only hardened my resolve

The city of Springfield, Ohio, has unwittingly become Ground Zero in the political maelstrom of this election, buffeted by the crosswinds of opportunism and the politicization of the press. While the Trump-Vance campaign has been highlighting what may be taking place in this small town the news outlets have been more eager to accuse the campaign of hatefulness and division, rather than looking into the matter. As a result, a surreal battle of will is swirling and the facts are completely lost in the debris. We are in an era in which this country's legacy news media displays an abject lack of regard for their journalistic reputations.

A Secret Service whistleblower has made a bombshell claim about a security lapse at former President Donald Trump's Florida golf course where a would-be assassin was found with an AK-47. The 78-year-old former president was enjoying a round of golf in West Palm Beach on Sunday, when Ryan Wesley Routh, 58, allegedly stuck the barrel of his weapon through the chain-link fence. But it was later revealed that agents had spotted Routh prior to the assassination attempt, and Republican Sen. Josh Hawley now says the Secret Service failed to secure the perimeter.

Donald Trump made an in-studio appearance on the Greg Gutfeld show on FOX News tonight. This is huge because Gutfeld reaches a massive audience. His ratings even eclipse network shows like Colbert and Kimmel on a regular basis. Plus, the atmosphere is much different on Gutfeld than other FOX News shows. This isn’t like an appearance on Hannity or Laura Ingraham’s show. It’s a fun and laid back environment. The live audience gave Trump a standing ovation when he was introduced. From FOX News: Trump’s appearance was taped Wednesday afternoon at FOX News Media’s New York City headquarters before the former president headed to Long Island for a campaign rally.

Trump recapped his showdown last Tuesday against Vice President Kamala Harris on Fox News' late night show Gutfeld. While most polls showed that viewers believed Harris had definitively won last week's debate in Philadelphia, Trump admitted he came away from it with a different impression.

The FBI and intelligence agencies on Wednesday revealed that Iran has been engaged in online efforts to interfere with U.S. elections by hacking former President Donald Trump’s campaign and attempting to share it with President Joe Biden’s campaign. Before Biden dropped out of the race, Iran sent information taken from the Trump campaign to Biden’s campaign in June and July through unsolicited emails, according to The Hill. The emails contained non-public information from Trump’s campaign. There is no evidence that the Biden campaign responded to the emails or collaborated with the Iranian hackers.

Gas powered stoves in California could now come with a health warning label similar to what you'd find on a pack of cigarettes or other tobacco products, according to a new proposed law in the state. California lawmakers passed a bill at the end of August that would make it illegal to sell a gas stove that is manufactured or sold online on or after Jan. 1, 2025, or sold in a store, "unless the gas stove bears an adhesive label attached in a conspicuous location," according to the text of the bill. Gov. Gavin Newsom has until the end of September to sign the bill into law.

Much of the noise coming from the debate between Donald Trump and Kamala Harris last week had to do with a media-driven narrative that Harris “won.” Maybe so. In initial polls after the debate, Harris padded her lead. But will the debate win be enough for the Democrats’ own rank-and-file voters, who believe the party used an undemocratic method to select its nominee? September’s I&I/TIPP Poll suggests the answer is yes. Start with the fact that the Real Clear Politics polling average puts Harris up just 1.7 percentage points nationally, and a sliver-thin 0.2 percentage points in key battleground states.

Three people were killed in Lebanon's Bekaa region, the state news agency reported, and dozens of people were wounded in the latest device blast. At least one of the blasts took place near a funeral organized by Iran-backed Hezbollah for those killed the previous day when thousands of pagers used by the group exploded across the country and wounded many of the group's fighters.
