Steve Bannon was arrested on Thursday on money laundering and conspiracy charges stemming from a fundraising scheme to build a wall on the Southern border. Bannon, who is the self-proclaimed leader of the “MAGA grassroots movement,” surrendered himself in New York City to prosecutors following the indictment. Apparently, New York AG Letecia James wasn’t satisfied, though. Former Trump White House strategist Steve Bannon turned himself over to New York authorities Thursday, as he is expected to face state fraud charges related to the "We Build the Wall" fundraiser.
Bannon is expected to be released on "no cash bail and surrender his passport," a source familiar with the case told Fox News.
The charges are still under seal, and Fox News has learned that Bannon has not been told what they are yet. Bannon found out about the indictment a week ago when Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg's office called one of his lawyers to inform him.

Democrat John Fetterman is committing to at least one debate with his Republican opponent, Dr. Mehmet Oz, in Pennsylvania’s race for U.S. Senate.
In a Wednesday afternoon article authored by Politico’s Holly Otterbein, Fetterman said voters will see him on the debate stage with Oz “sometime in the middle to end of October.” A “major television station” in the Keystone State will host the debate, Fetterman said.
“Early voting typically begins 4-6 weeks before the election and ends at the mail-in ballot request deadline,” the University of Pennsylvania notes, meaning voting will be well underway by the time the candidates take the debate stage.

State District Court Judge Francis Mathew issued the ruling on Tuesday asserting that Griffin had engaged in insurrection and violated the 14th Amendment, according to the Daily Mail. The determination prohibits Griffin from holding or seeking local or federal office and is the first ruling of its kind. The constitutionality of such a ruling will almost certainly be challenged.
