To Europe, anyway. Years of horrible decisions by European leaders have come home to roost, as Europeans now worry about how to heat their homes this winter. Reliance on a geopolitical enemy for much of their energy turned out to be a mistake, as Russia has now shut off gas supplies. Who could have predicted it? Other than anyone with a modicum of common sense? Which Europe’s governing class has lacked for many years.
The continent’s leaders are panicking and preparing to ration energy:
European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen has called for the implementation of “mandatory” energy rationing throughout the EU during peak hours in order to “flatten the curve

They'll be ok. The only thing a German likes better than a beer is an order.

Lol. That’s a good one #1. And we already know the French are surrender monkeys. And as Germany and France go, so goes Europe. Oh but you needn’t worry about the Ursula von der Leyens, The Obamas, Bush’s, and Clinton’s of the world. They will be just fine. Dining luxuriously on Wagyu beef and fine champagnes. Driving expensive bullet-proof SUVs powered by….gasoline of course.

The French have a massive nuclear power system. The French sell power to Germany and Italy, two countries that removed their nuclear powers. It is quite a laugh to call the French surrender monkeys after our surrender in Afghanistan to 8th century barbarians. Not quite as dignified as surrendering to the Germans.

Hey, maybe glowbull warming will finally arrive, like the Great Pumpkin, and save the day for these euros, and they’ll have a nice mild, warm winter? Of course they wouldn’t be able to ski and ice skate, but that would be such a small price to pay, really.
Embrace the suck France and Germany.

So I guess the word is out why the French planted all those trees along the streets in Paris. Because Germans like to march in the shade.

Commies totalitarians just LOVE to be totalitarian to the peasants, don't they? And the peasants are so stupid that they support the commies, and support being screwed over and living in miserable conditions as peasants.

Yet the elites in the US still adore the euros for their sophisticated policies and guidance through the UN, NATO and the ongoing climate scam. We can laugh at the euros now but cold days are coming soon to a location near you.

Hey Frenchy, watch your back. The Germans haven’t paid you cheese eaters a visit in about 80 years now. This time it will be to steal anything that will burn and produce energy.

So an unproven and ever more doubtful "crisis" has pushed grossly incompetent progressive bureaucrats to abandon an existing good solution (nuclear power) and instead turn to reliance on political enemies for ultimately stupid and IMPOSSIBLE solutions.
Consider how quickly this has happened and also that this is only the first wave of a disaster that the progressives have set in motion. People will be suffering and some will die because of this. Plus, this is going to have additional impact that few dare to talk about. When it comes to people freezing in their homes vs. business continuing to run as normal, don't you think the choices will be to throttle back economic production? The global economy is already in trouble. This will push it into a depression. All so that the globalists could virtue signal over a fake climate crisis.
The additional hilarity of this is that they are turning to coal and wood, two highly polluting energy sources, as a short term "fix" for the problem. If the "Climate" is the crisis, as THEY define it, THEY HAVE MADE IT WORSE. Who are these "leaders", Alfred E. Neuman clones.
The same thing is happening in Kalifornia. Get some popcorn for the show.

WW II started, it is said, because the lessons of the Great War were not learnt. It seems Europe is not doing much better with lessons of WW II either. From Churchill to Donald Trump sensible leaders have warned against the policies followed esp by Germany and France.

As I think of the new Ice Age, I am amused at the thought of Joe, Nancy, Hillary and Kamala running across the tundra in bear skins chasing down a woolly mammoth armed only with spears.

When did the war in the Ukraine start?
When did the energy crisis start?
When did the greenies take over?
Think about it. All of this strife started right after the Democrats stole the election.

Who could have predicted it? President Trump. He warned them about it and they laughed in his face. I hope that they enjoy the karma which is raining down on them now.

The flattening of the curve card is worn out. Fire up your dormant nuclear plants and quit fooling around with these Greenies, none of whom will turn off their heating, cooling or fly commercial

Now, here's the choice Euroweenies. Which do you fear more....a claimed, possible "global warming" some time far in the future, after the predictions of this 'coming soon' have failed to appear for 30+ decades, or actually freezing to death in the winter which ABSOLUTELY WILL be coming in a few months?
A phony far-future 'boogey man' of unknown effects or an actual serious risk of at least discomfort or even freezing to death THIS YEAR?

The EU is run by unelected bureaucrats just like the United States. Nothing good can come from that as we know.
