Congressman Troy Nehls (R-TX) has thrown a curveball into the already tumultuous race for Speaker of the House. Taking to Twitter, Nehls announced that he will nominate former President Donald J. Trump for Speaker of the House.
This bombshell comes on the heels of a historic 216-210 vote to remove Kevin McCarthy from the Speaker’s chair, marking the first time in U.S. history that a Speaker has been ousted mid-term.
On Tuesday, the House of Representatives voted 216-210 to remove McCarthy, making him the shortest-serving Speaker since 1876.
The vote was spearheaded by Florida Republican Rep. Matt Gaetz and saw a few conservatives joining Democrats in the unprecedented action.

But I don't think they will because they don't have any popular support because every single one of Joe Biden's issues -- economy, crime, energy, foreign policy, the border -- he's polling 30-40 percent. McHenry ordered former Speaker Nancy Pelosi to vacate her Capitol hideaway office pronto! Pelosi lashed out at McHenry and said his ruthless move to evict her from her hideaway office is “a sharp departure from tradition.”
The best part about this ruthless move by McHenry is that Pelosi isn’t even in Washington DC right now.

Tampa, Fla., has an overwhelming homeless population. The city would like to believe only 2,040 of its residents are “experiencing homelessness,” but the numbers don’t add up, considering that 11 years ago the estimate was 16,000. But then again, back in 2012, the GOP held its national convention in Tampa, so it was in the left’s best interest to get the highest number possible for the local homeless. Look at the greedy Republicans coming into the land of the downtrodden, spending their dirty oil money on luxury hotels and restaurants, and then leaving without so much as even looking at the real Tampa. Did the media say that exactly?

The lead Republicans have over Democrats when it comes to economic prosperity has reached its largest in 32 years, polling from Gallup showed Tuesday.
Fifty-three percent of Americans said the think the GOP is more likely to “do a better job of keeping the country prosperous,” Gallup said. Just 39 percent say they favor Democrats on the issues facing the economy. That 14-point gap is the widest for Republicans since 1991. It is also a significant increase from the 10-point lead Republicans enjoyed a year ago, suggesting that the Biden administration’s efforts to sell the public on the alleged benefits of “Bidenomics” has backfired.

An exercise in bluff-calling, a real showdown … or a case of extended adolescence? Perhaps today’s vote in the House will combine elements of all three — if it happens at all. What is the only observable physical phenomenon that science cannot explain? It is perhaps the most important one of all.
Let's use an analogy. Suppose that the government were to commission a study about music. Suppose further that the study were restricted to answering a specific question: how does music arise from a musical instrument?
The study might begin by surveying a particular musical instrument — let us say the French horn. It would examine its shape, its parts, its constituent metals, and the acoustics involved in producing the music that emanates from it. How far would such a study get in its mission

Everyone who watches crime dramas such as CSI, NCIS, Castle, or Bones, knows that every episode focuses on the issue of Motive. The reason is obvious. Correctly assessing Motive an important consideration in figuring out who has committed what crime.
Why then has the issue of Motive on January 6 been swept off the stage of public discourse?
To many, asking such a question may appear provocative, even uninformed. That's what the New Democrat party is doing by and through its political actions. Hey, boys and girls. Can you follow the bouncing Kathy?
Sunday, Gov. Hochul delivered a spot-on explanation for New York’s current dilemma — for how it came to be stuffed full of penniless border-hoppers.
The problem, she said, is the border itself: As in, “It’s too open right now.”
Which it obviously is. The consequences — societal, fiscal and cultural — also are obvious, and becoming more so.
But Hochul’s candor — aimed squarely at Washington, and at Joe Biden in particular — clearly has had consequences too.

Male-born anglers have been banned from competing in women’s categories in an official ruling made by the governing body of the international angling sport federation. (snip) The new rule was announced after England’s ladies’ angling team refused to compete in the world championships on the tale of a decision that was made to allow a man to compete in the women’s category, according to the Telegraph.
“In line with the recent debates wondering around the question whether it is fair to let transgender [women] participate in female competitions, we have finally concluded that this eventuality is absolutely discriminatory, especially in those disciplines where the physical strength can make a difference,”

Disney spent at least $125 million to market and promote The Creator, and like everything else The Disney Grooming Institute touches, it exploded into a million pieces of failure. (snip) it came in third place, opening to just $14 million.
Worldwide, it grossed just $32 million. This sucker is DOA. No way will it clear the $200 million needed just to break even. China might like it, but China steals 75 percent of the box office. The Creator lost to Saw X (that’s “ten”), which came in second with $18 million. First place went to Paw Patrol 2’s $23 million opening.

A federal court ruled in two cases Friday that religious foster agencies in South Carolina could remain open and continue their work partnering with the state to serve children in need. (snip)
The ruling came down against the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) and the Americans United for Separation of Church and State, who sued the HHS and Republican Gov. Henry McMaster in 2019 to try to stop the state from working with religious organizations in South Carolina.

The Pentagon is warning Congress that they’re worried about being able to replace the weapons that we have sent to Ukraine. This is alarming news.
Biden and the uniparty have given Ukraine mountains of cash and weapons and in the process, they have put our national security at risk.
This makes absolutely no sense. (X) From the Associated Press:

A confidential U.S. strategy document suggests that the Biden administration is more concerned about alleged corruption in Ukraine than first acknowledged.
A 'sensitive but unclassified' version of what is believed to be a possibly long-term U.S. plan for Ukraine outlines various measures the U.S. is taking to assist Kyiv in combatting corruption.
The feat is that growing criticism of corruption could ultimately lead Western allies to withdraw their support for Ukraine's fight against Russia's invasion. Zelensky's government has seen its most generous support from the United States, with $75 billion so-far committed -

Gaetz filed a motion to vacate the chair on Monday, marking the first official step in an attempt to remove McCarthy from his speakership.
As Breitbart News reported:
The House must vote within two legislative days on the motion itself or on a separate motion to table or dispense with it.
Gaetz has threatened to bring the motion for weeks if McCarthy brought a stopgap spending bill to the floor that required Democrats to pass, as McCarthy did Saturday after Republican holdouts blocked

I appeared this afternoon on Fox Live Now to talk about the civil trial of Donald Trump and numerous Trump organizations for allegedly inflating property valuations to deceive banks and insurance companies.[Snip]The judge ordered New York business certificates for numerous Trump entities cancelled.[Snip] This all is egregious. There is no claim that consumers or banks and insurance companies lost money, or were defrauded out of money.[Snip]If they wanted to charge him with fraud and penalize him for these appraisals, fine, but to then try to put him out of business, I think shows how political and how vindictive this is.
