The Real Motive for Jan. 6

Original Article

Everyone who watches crime dramas such as CSI, NCIS, Castle, or Bones, knows that every episode focuses on the issue of Motive. The reason is obvious. Correctly assessing Motive an important consideration in figuring out who has committed what crime. Why then has the issue of Motive on January 6 been swept off the stage of public discourse? To many, asking such a question may appear provocative, even uninformed. After all, Democrats have repeatedly told us the Motive for January 6: Trump, according to them, wanted to foment an "insurrection.” Yet if that Motive were really so obvious, why has it been necessary for the anti-Trumpers to repeat it so

Go first to the most basic..."An Insurrection is an uprising against a seated Govt" Trump WAS the seated Govt. Neither He nor any of his supporters gathered to Unseat HIM.

The real motive was to force the Congress off the grounds to end the ability to challenge the election, and to end the ability to have standing in the courts to challenge the election. J6 was a Democrat coup. The 2020 election was stolen. To this day, no one has been allowed to challenge the 2020 election in the courts. Everyone that has tried to do so has been targeted with indictments, disbarments, ethics charges, and financial ruin. It was not our first coup. Our history is filled with lies.

To understand how the January 6 events unfolded, it might be useful to review the timeline provided by former Capitol Police Chief Steven Sund in his eight page written testimony to certain members of the Senate. It's a quick read detailing multiple instances of refusal, or delaying tactics by bureaucrats and politicians. The delays served to prevent a timely ramp up security the events demanded. For example, Sund wrote "On Monday, January 4, I approached the two Sergeants at Arms to request the assistance of the National Guard, as I had no authority to do so without an Emergency Declaration by the Capitol Police Board (CPB)." Sund received a partial response two days BEFORE the riots indicating reluctance to approve the request: "I first spoke with the House Sergeant at Arms to request the National Guard. Mr. Irving stated that he was concerned about the “optics” of having National Guard present and didn’t feel that the intelligence supported it. He referred me to the Senate Sergeant at Arms (who is currently the Chair of the CPB) to get his thoughts on the request. I then spoke to Mr. Stenger and again requested the National Guard. Instead of approving the use of the National Guard, however, Mr. Stenger suggested I ask them how quickly we could get support if needed and to “lean forward” in case we had to request assistance on January 6. At Mr. Stenger’s direction, I called General William Walker, commanding officer of the D.C. National Guard. I advised that I had not received CPB approval, but wanted to know how many National Guard he could provide and how fast could he provide them if they were needed on Capitol Hill on January 6. He advised that he could repurpose nearby National Guard and have them to me fairly quickly, once approved. I asked General Walker to be prepared in the event that we requested them." On January 6, at about 1:50p.m. Sund had received no word from CPB. He wrote "...noting the extreme urgency of the situation, I notified General William Walker that I should have approval shortly and that we had an urgent request for the National Guard. At 2:10 p.m., I received notification from Mr. Irving that the CPB authorized me to request the National Guard. However, as explained below, I soon learned that our request would also need to be approved by the Department of Defense." See where this is going? One delay after another. Read it for yourself at the link below. Read about the arrival of thousands of armed agitators arriving right about the time one of two pipe bombs exploded. Sund was forced to resign, when it's clear there were roadblocks put in his way even before Jan. 6. Later, Sund wrote "Since the incident on January 6, 2021, the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) has indicated that the attack that occurred was pre-planned, involved participants from a number of states, who came well equipped, coordinated, and prepared to carry out a violent insurrection of the United States Capitol. Although it appears that there were numerous participants from multiple states planning this attack, the entire intelligence community (IC) seems to have missed it." https://www.hsgac.senate.gov/wp-content/uploads/imo/media/doc/Testimony-Sund-2021-02-23.pdf

Great article, with lots of good, concise bullet points. Should be a MUST READ for every Republican in office or running for office. Key note, wondering how the Democrats (Nancy Pelosi) was able to rewrite the Act without any formal amendment? I've heard they simply used the "emergency" of the J6 event to remove this Act as part of the process for certifying the 2020 Electoral College Votes. It would be interesting if more people started to focus on this point, and asking who would have the motive (Democrats much more then Trump). Trump should focus more on these two points, IMO. Stop focusing on stolen, etc...

As armed Hamas terrorists are beheading Jewish babies, raping innocent women, and executing civilians in the street, Starbucks union workers—backed by far-left Squad member Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-VT), socialist Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT), and brain-dead Sen. John Fetterman (D-PA)—have proudly signaled public support for the terrorist invasion of Israel. Starbucks Workers United, an affiliate of the Service Employees International Union (SEIU), voiced "Solidarity with Palestine!" in a series of since-deleted posts across social media. Over the weekend, Starbucks union chapters in progressive strongholds, such as Iowa City, Chicago, and Boston, promoted "Long Live Palestinian Resistance" rallies supporting the Hamas attacks.

As the Gateway Pundit previously reported, Hamas has committed multiple horrific atrocities since invading Israel Saturday. These include gunning down peaceful Israelis at a dance party, raping and abducting young Israeli women, and beheading Israeli soldiers. Hamas has even chopped off the heads of little babies and gunned down entire families in their beds. Mitchell hosted an Israeli mom whose two children were abducted by Hamas. First, her reaction is heinous. Second, it’s one hundred percent expected from one of the most anti-Israel and far-left Democrats on the Hill. Rebecca wrote about Rep. Rashida Tlaib’s (D-MI) atrocious statement in the aftermath of the October 7 Hamas terrorist attack on Israel, where 1,000 armed radical Islamic madmen invaded Southern Israel, killing at least 700 Israeli civilians. A campaign of rape, murder, and kidnapping ensued. None were spared, and even babies were found beheaded. And still, scores of leftists refuse to condemn Hamas, instead siding with the terrorists. Tlaib at first offered this statement:

Just as the latest invasion began in Israel, swarms of the usual suspects began protesting in front of Israeli consulates in various American cities. Some of the anti-Israeli demonstrators were themselves Jewish… being committed leftists first and Jews second. They were of particular interest to the mainstream news media. Then news of horrific atrocities being carried out by the Hamas militants began to surface. Shooting up a harmless music festival is way too much for even woke progressives -- let alone flaunting the naked bodies of freshly murdered women. As I write, the revulsion on the Left is still lurking below the radar.

The heady rush of bloodlust that fueled Hamas terrorists on Saturday has begun to wane now that Israel has hung out the “Open for Business” sign. As Robert reported yesterday, Hamas now wants a truce, even while the dead in Israel are still being buried and people there come to terms with those who were murdered, raped, and taken hostage. As the news cycle continues, every hour brings another story of the atrocities committed by Hamas, which have been cheered by people across the world.

Over the weekend, Hamas attacked Israel, making October 7 the bloodiest day in the country's history and one that killed the most Jews since the end of the Holocaust. Given the support that Hamas had from Iran, many have called out the Biden administration for its move to provide the country with $6 billion--a decision that was announced on September 11--as part of a prisoner swap. As the money has reportedly not actually gone to Iran yet, Sen. Marsha Blackburn (R-TN) has called on President Joe Biden to void the agreement and freeze the payments.

Established in 1802 under President Thomas Jefferson, West Point is our nation’s oldest armed services academy and the first engineering school in the United States. Why engineering? Because it is a battlefield-relevant discipline that promotes the kind of critical thinking military leaders need to fight and win wars. Successful combat officers must be able to solve basic engineering problems, such as determining whether bridges will support trucks and armored vehicles, how best to cross rivers and other obstacles, how to plan and build fortifications, and where to place demolition charges, to name just a few required skills.

Recent instances of Vermont store-goers detaining and even assaulting would-be thieves reveal growing societal tensions seeded by progressive policies. Vermont’s law enforcement services are anemic due to anti-police rhetoric, racialization of courts, and lax prosecutorial policies. Vermont is not enforcing basic criminal laws, as gang-related violence and property crimes transform communities, drug overdoses skyrocket, and businesses are compromised. Citizens are tired of being victimized by government failure: many are taking matters into their own hands. On September 6, customers restrained a shoplifter in a Walmart parking lot in Berlin, Vermont. After arresting and charging the suspect, the Berlin Police Department sought to discourage similar public actions

There was an awful lot of (fake) hand-wringing on the Sunday shows this weekend about the “chaos” in the House caused by Matt Gaetz’s successful coup in ousting Majority Speaker Kevin McCarthy. What’s even more despicable (predictably so) was the attempt to tie this alleged Republican chaos to the horrific attacks against Israel this holiday weekend by asking guests whether this (non-existent) chaos would hamstring Congress’s ability to act. Never really in search of an answer, the questions were actually designed to make the point that House Republican incompetence and infighting jeopardize the United States’ ability to respond to international crises. More on that in a sec.

Former President Donald Trump is blamed for more of the world’s problems than even global warming, climate change, extreme weather, or we call 'weather' these days. Trump is also blamed for much of the dysfunction in Washington, D.C., such as the recent ousting of House Speaker Kevin McCarthy. Perhaps if McCarthy was a contestant on The Apprentice and Trump told him “You’re fired!”, then blaming Trump would be appropriate. (Snip) Rather than causing the problems, he is the voters’ response to decades of feckless GOP leadership and broken promises to their voters.
