After brutally massacring over 600 Israelis and then suffering some retaliatory strikes from Israel, the bloodthirsty jihadis of Hamas now want a truce. The Israeli government is virtually certain to get immense pressure to agree to such a truce, but this is actually the last thing that Israel should do at this point. Even before the magnitude of what Hamas perpetrated in Israel was fully known, calls for a ceasefire became a talking point. Leftist opinion makers from the ridiculous (Antony Blinken) to the absurd (Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez) began calling for a ceasefire so quickly that the Babylon Bee zinged them with a riotous headline: “Emperor Hirohito

After the horrifying images of what Hamas did in Israel on Saturday went around the world, it’s hard to believe that anyone came out in support of the Palestinian jihad. But numerous leftists found a way and seized the opportunity of the bloody massacre of hundreds of innocent Israeli civilians to advance anti-Israel talking points. Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-Ramallah) led the way with a statement that was a masterpiece of blame-shifting and displacement of responsibility. After seeing ordinary Israelis massacred wholesale at a peace festival, on the street, and in their homes, Tlaib began by putting the perpetrators and their victims on equal footing:

Happy Monday, dear Kruiser Morning Briefing friends. (Snip) Anyone on the right who has spent even a little time paying attention to mainstream media bias has probably noticed that it’s easy for the Democrats to issue marching orders to create a narrative. It happened again this past weekend after the horrific attack on Israel by Hamas. A theme began to emerge on Sunday: the United States might have problems immediately assisting Israel because there is no Speaker of the House of Representatives.
It’s nonsense, of course. My friend and colleague

It would be hard for anybody to justify or spin the dastardly attacks on Israel by Hamas.
But that isn't stopping some from coming out with bad reactions, like some of the Squad members, suggesting that now that Hamas has viciously attacked, it's time not to respond but to call for a ceasefire, as opposed to dealing with the terrorist murderers. Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) followed in line with other Squad members calling for an immediate ceasefire. She also spoke about the "oppression and occupation" more than she spoke about the murder of hundreds of Israelis by Hamas. (X) From her other account, AOC also "liked" this misleading post,

Fifty-five Chinese sailors are feared dead after their nuclear submarine apparently got caught in a trap intended to ensnare British sub-surface vessels in the Yellow Sea.
According to a secret UK report the seamen died following a catastrophic failure of the submarine's oxygen systems which poisoned the crew.
The captain of the Chinese PLA Navy submarine '093-417' is understood to be among the deceased, as were 21 other officers. Officially, China has denied the incident took place. It also appears Beijing refused to request international assistance for its stricken submarine. The UK report into the fatal mission reads: 'Intelligence reports that on 21st of August there was an onboard accident

A new Florida law is putting a target on the backs of child rapists in the state. The law, labeled HB 1297, was signed in May and took effect last Sunday, October 1. The Bill passed by a margin of 34-5 in the State Senate and 95-14 in the State House.
At the bill signing, Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-Fla.) said, “Unfortunately, in our society, we have very heinous sex crimes that are committed against children under the age of 12 years old. These are really the worst of the worst. The perpetrators of these crimes are often serial offenders.”
DeSantis added that he believed the Supreme Court’s Ruling in 2008

A recent Gallup poll found that Americans trust the GOP more than the Democrats on the economy by the largest margin in more than three decades. More than half of Americans, 53%, trust the GOP, compared to 39% who say they trust the Democrats. It wasn’t the only issue Republicans had a significant advantage on, either, but the economy tends to be one of the most, if not the most important issue that tips an election one way or another. And as bad as things look for Joe Biden and the Democrats now, next year could be even worse. According to a Fox Business report,

“How bad is the border crisis, really?” you might ask. You’re probably aware that a mini Democrat Civil War is brewing — in New York, of all places — where the arrival of a few tens of thousands of illegals had Gov. Kathy Hochul sniping at Presidentish Joe Biden last week. Just a couple of days ago, in Chicago, residents of the West Side’s Galewood neighborhood were “livid” over plans to house illegals there. None of that is anything compared to today’s news that the White House just hit the panic button so hard that it almost made me spill my martini.
I’m kidding, of course —

Biden paid a visit to Arizona to claim that everyone who opposes him is a threat to democracy, to brag about encouraging former Senator McCain to cheat on his disabled first wife, and to announce $83 million in taxpayer money for the John McCain National Library.
The 80,000-square-foot library built on 22.5 acres at Arizona State Universe will archive McCain’s papers and claims, implausibly, that it will have over 100,000 visitors a year.
Politicians stealing taxpayer money to build useless monuments to each other’s vanity is nothing new, but what is unusual is the source of the money for the McCain library.
The Biden administration put out a press release announcing that

To me, this story sums up the entire Biden presidency: take something simple and screw it up.
For most people, a dog in the household brings joy and unconditional love and also gives the owner a responsibility to make sure the canine is cared for and healthy. But Joe Biden can’t even seem to get that right, as his dog Commander has a fondness for biting people—and as my colleague Jeff Charles reported in September, he has a special taste for Secret Service agents.
He has chomped on them at least 12 times since 2021, and now he’s been caught on camera:

An alleged member of a secret Iranian government influence network visited the Biden White House at least five times for high-level meetings with senior U.S. officials, according to visitor logs. Ali Vaez, an Iran analyst with the International Crisis Group, was outed last week as an alleged member of a vast Iranian-government-controlled propaganda network that helped push Tehran’s talking points in Washington, D.C., and influence policy, according to Semafor. Vaez reportedly communicated with senior Iranian government associates as part of the Iran Experts Initiative, an influence operation run by Iran’s foreign ministry. The meetings are raising questions about

Tampa, Fla., has an overwhelming homeless population. The city would like to believe only 2,040 of its residents are “experiencing homelessness,” but the numbers don’t add up, considering that 11 years ago the estimate was 16,000. But then again, back in 2012, the GOP held its national convention in Tampa, so it was in the left’s best interest to get the highest number possible for the local homeless. Look at the greedy Republicans coming into the land of the downtrodden, spending their dirty oil money on luxury hotels and restaurants, and then leaving without so much as even looking at the real Tampa. Did the media say that exactly?
