The U.S. Postal Service has unveiled a new Forever stamp honoring the late Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg. The stamp featuring the trailblazing justice who died Sept. 18, 2020, at the age of 87 while still on the Supreme Court bench was unveiled Monday during a first-day-of-issue dedication ceremony at the Smithsonian's National Portrait Gallery in Washington, D.C., with friends, family and fellow justices in attendance. "Now, a new stamp will honor this outstanding American eminent jurist who gave so much to our country as a scholar, teacher, lawyer, judge and justice," Supreme Court Chief Justice John Roberts said

Just to put into perspective, the bias USPS didn't print a stamp for Scalia. Seem only leftist 'icon' get a stamp in their honor. So we have a two tier postal service as well. Explains why my mail service is so pathetic

I collected stamps when young. I learned that almost all commemorative stamps showed pictures of Democrats.

The stamp shows Ruthie bench-pressing 420 lbs - - just like she did only two hours before she died.
She was quite a gal!

No, thanks. Didn't like her when she was alive. I can live without her face on my mail now.

I actually must thank her for holding on so we could have a Conservative..ish judge to replace her.

Sandra Day O'Connor who was the first woman to be a Supreme Court justice has not had a stamp honoring her. I will be willing to bet that most kids think Ruth Ginsberg was the first woman justice on the Supreme Court.

Stamps? Oooh right. I bought a book of 20 forever stamps a couple years ago and, with an estimated 25 years to live, I have a lifetime supply.
I cannot imagine licking such a stamp with her mug on there.

It must've been her tenure at the ACLU that most inspires the leftists.
You just know they must be planning a stamp commemorating a far more brilliant legal mind, SC Judge Antonin Scalia, right? Right?

How was she 'trailblazing', exactly? As others have noted, she wasn't the first woman.

The post office is not delivering much mail, and the volumes are decreasing every year, although the funding of the post office increases every year.

What, exactly, did she do to deserve this honor? She wasn't the first woman on the Court. She didn't author any landmark decision that I can recall. She was just a reliable partisan vote for issues important to Democrats.

Haven't used a stamp in years. With greeting cards at $5-6 plus postage we've given up. Everything else paid on line or by bank. I still have a few Forever stamps with the Lindbergh Baby on them.

I would avoid using this one as it allows USPS to abort your letter up to the point of delivery.

Didn't Rush refer to her as Ruth Buzzi Ginsburg? This abortion activist did well, didn't she, staying on the Court long enough to be replaced by a Republican appointee. She did one good thing: stayed too long. But she maximized her time in power. Once you're accustomed to manipulating those levers, nothing else in this life matters.
