"A reason behind the suspected stampede was not revealed." Oh, gees, let me guess. Gunfire? Not many things can cause a stampede. Another fixture of the weekend 'party' scene. Get drunk, get high, have sex with strangers, break things, get into fights, shoot people, and now, stampedes! They call it a party!

Myrtle Beach had enough, so they had to find another venue. We went to Myrtle one Memorial Day, on a whim... We were the only white folk in the hotel. Didn't have any problems, unless you consider being behind a motorcycle with a large female passenger in a thong....

Surprising lack of editorial sensitivity(or Fear)... "“Black Bike Week is recently reported to draw crowds in excess of 400,000 people to the area though it is hard to distinguish them from the crowd of spring breakers who have been in Myrtle Beach during the same time" That comes Dangerously close to "They all look the same"... If J Jackson, Elijah Cummings, Al Sharpton, John Lewis, Jim Clyburn were still at full prominence, no editor would have DARED to say such a thing. (The most liberal wing of my family, my mothers sister'..college professors, PFLAG parents(president), who thought that "The West wing" was right wing propaganda, long tie Bernie activists, settled in Myrtle Beach 40 years ago, even THEY made sure to go elsewhere during Spring Break and Bike week, or stock up/hunker down inside as if it were a Hurricaine)

A bill that would ban ingredients used in many of New Jersey’s pizzas, along with other food additives, is making its way through the Legislature and drawing pushback from the food industry. The measure, S3785, would prohibit the use of certain ingredients based on their classification as potential carcinogens. Among them is potassium bromate, a dough-strengthening agent used in some commercial bread and pizza doughs, though not all pizzerias rely on it. The bill also takes aim at a range of additives and food dyes, and includes restrictions on what can be served in school lunches in an effort to improve children’s health.

Iran has reportedly agreed to give up its stockpile of enriched uranium as part of the deal announced by President Trump Saturday. Tehran has agreed to a statement pledging to relinquish its cache of highly enriched uranium — believed to be enough to build 11 nuclear bombs — the New York Times reported, citing two American officials. The disposal of the highly enriched uranium, which Trump refers to as “nuclear dust” was a major sticking point in negotiations between the United States and the Islamic Republic. While Iran fought to address the status of its nuclear stockpile after an agreement to end the war had been reached,
