Earlier this week, Wisconsin voters selected Susan Crawford, who was backed by Democrats and out of state billionaires such as George Soros, as the new state Supreme Court justice over Republican-backed Brad Schimel. Among those Democrats backing Judge Crawford included former Vice President Kamala Harris. On Tuesday, the day of the election, Harris posted to her X account encouraging Wisconsin voters to go with the judge of her choosing, noting how Crawford would "protect your freedoms and rights."

New chat logs released by the House Judiciary Committee this week show the extraordinary lengths the FBI went to behind the scenes to shut down any discussion of Hunter Biden’s laptop in October 2020 after the New York Post broke the story.
The conversations, withheld by the FBI under Director Chris Wray, show that senior leadership issued an internal “gag order” on the laptop.
The FBI had been in possession of the abandoned MacBook Pro for 10 months by that stage, after computer repair shop owner John Paul Mac Isaac handed it over and warned of the potential crimes and national security concerns he had found.

If you were an aspiring law enforcement officer, would you have applied to the Federal Bureau of Investigation when the oleaginous Jim Comey was at the helm? Would you have considered working for Chris Wray, under whose direction you might be sent to raid an ex-president’s underwear drawer or investigate parents for caring about their children? Would you have been proud to show up at the office or in the field every day knowing that your Attorney General was Merrick Garland, who seemed to care more about getting Trump and protecting Biden than stopping illegal alien crimes,

Americans will likely have to pay more at the supermarket counter within the coming days while higher prices on everything from sneakers to furniture to cars could be felt in a matter of weeks following President Trump’s tariffs rollout, economists and industry experts told The Post.
Trump’s announcement on Wednesday triggered fears of a global trade war and sent stocks on Wall Street cratering – stoking economic uncertainty and leaving consumers with questions about which products to buy before they get sticker shock.
The 10% across-the-board tariffs begin Saturday, while the higher reciprocal tariffs against the nation’s largest trading partners go into effect Wednesday.

CBS News' "60 Minutes" has had some rather shameful episodes recently, including an episode in February where that was in favor of the censorship going on in Germany, which included arresting people over social media posts. President Donald Trump said he wants Elon Musk to stay on his team “as long as possible” during a conversation with reporters Thursday, adding DOGE had found something “horrible” without divulging details.
The president made his remarks during a conversation with reporters on Air Force One after Trump was asked how much longer Musk would stay on as a “special government employee.”
The questions followed a report from Politico this week claiming Trump had told his inner circle that Musk will be leaving his role as a “special government employee” with DOGE soon. The report cited internal frustrations with Musk’s “unpredictability” and his potential to be a “political liability.”

The move is part of a broader pattern of the Islamic Republic recalibrating its regional strategy in response to the Trump administration’s efforts to curtail Tehran’s influence in the Middle East and threats to potentially strike Iran’s nuclear sites.

FRANKFURT, Germany U.S. President Donald Trump’s sweeping new tariffs on American imports shocked governments and investors around the world, swiftly spurring both threats of retaliation and calls for negotiation as industries scrambled and global stocks tumbled. China accused the U.S. of “bullying” and the European Union said it was ready to mount “robust” countermeasures, with French officials suggesting taxes to hit U.S. tech giants.
Yet others, like the United Kingdom and Japan, expressed hope for a deal with Trump and refrained from talk of retaliation against the world’s biggest economy, fearing that slapping their own tariffs on American goods will only make things worse.

In our political age where virtue signaling often masquerades as policymaking, Colorado Senate Bill 25-086, charmingly titled Protections for Users of Social Media, stands as a masterclass in misdirection. The Trump administration on Wednesday released its long-awaited formula for calculating the new reciprocal tariffs unveiled in the Rose Garden, offering a clearer picture of how the United States intends to address persistent trade imbalances.
According to a statement from the Office of the United States Trade Representative (USTR), the tariffs are calculated using a straightforward formula based on each country’s goods trade surplus with the United States. Specifically, the method divides a country’s trade surplus by its total exports to the U.S., then applies a 50 percent discount to the resulting percentage.
For example, China exported $438 billion in goods

Last week, ABC, CBS, and NBC spent nearly 100 minutes covering leaked messages from a private Signal chat for Trump administration officials, in just the first 96 hours after the messages were published. But those same networks spent only 13 minutes covering the actual military operation that was discussed in those leaked messages.
In mid-March, the United States launched a still-ongoing series of airstrikes against Houthi rebels in Yemen, in retaliation for more than 100 reported attacks on merchant vessels in the Red Sea.

Germany’s outgoing Chancellor voices the frustrations felt across the European ruling class at President Donald Trump tearing up the status quo on trade, decrying an “attack”.
The European Union, which has been hit with tariffs twice as high as post-Brexit Britain given the bloc’s protectionist policies and tariffs on imports, is expressing its distress and even outrage at President Trump’s bid to reform the United States’ trade relationship with the world. Germany’s Chancellor Olaf Scholz who is still technically in power nearly six weeks after he lost the Federal elections in February spoke in defence of the globalist status quo on Thursday.

I've never heard anything good about the United States Institute for Peace.
It's been in bed with neocons, coupmeisters, and the Soros color revolution crowd for years. The quasi-government agency that runs like a private NGO is always sneaky and non-transparent.
So it didn't surprise me a bit to learn that USIP showed unusual resistance to anyone poking into their spending from DOGE. {tweet]
Did you hear how the staff as USIP acted when DOGE showed up?
They literally BARRICADED themselves in their offices, cut the phone lines and power to elevators, sabotaged office equipment and the Head of USIP had to be arrested & removed.

Democrats think Americans pay too little in taxes. More specifically, they think “rich” Americans fail to pay their “fair share.”
They play fast and loose with those terms “rich” and “fair share.” Their unstated definition of “rich” is people who make more than the Democrat hurling the allegation. And they never do define “fair share.” It’s always just more, more, more on the rich, rich, rich.
Never mind that the top 1% of earners pay 40% of federal income taxes, the top 5% pay 61%, and the bottom 50% pay only 3%.

What happened with Marine Le Pen, the most popular politician in France who was just banned from standing for election on the flimsiest of pretenses, is no exception. It’s becoming the rule around the West and in other places, too, where being outside the mainstream of authorized establishment left-leaning globalist politics has become criminalized. In some places, like the UK and Spain, it takes the form of persecuting people for saying things that those in power don’t want to hear. The war on Elon Musk and Tesla is driven by far more than politics. One thing is for sure: Tesla owners never saw this one coming. After all, Tesla fans are generally predisposed to embrace climate change and much of the Green New Deal -- positions with large support among people on the Left side of the political spectrum. For many, owning a Tesla is a statement of virtue signaling that you are doing your part to save the world and save the environment. Owners of Teslas are more likely to vote Democrat than Republican. So why would Tesla dealerships and Tesla car owners be targeted for destruction?

The de minimis loophole comes from back in the 1930s. The idea back then was, say you went on a vacation to Paris, you shouldn’t have to file customs paperwork or pay taxes if you decided to ship some little Eiffel Tower statues to your friends back home.
Congress in 2015 then raised the de minimis threshold from $200 to $800. However, the e-commerce world exploded, and Chinese companies began using the de minimis loophole to ship cheap goods (ex. Temu and Shein) into the USA direct to consumers without paying any customs duty.

NEW YORK — Financial markets around the world are reeling Thursday following President Donald Trump’s latest and most severe volley of tariffs, and the U.S. stock market may be taking the worst of it.
The S&P 500 was down 4% in morning trading, worse than the drops for other major stock markets. The Dow Jones Industrial Average was down 1,520 points, or 3.6%, as of 10:10 a.m. Eastern time, and the Nasdaq composite was 4.0% lower.
Little was spared as fear flared globally about the potentially toxic mix of higher inflation and weakening economic growth that tariffs can create.

One of the Pacito v. Trump plaintiffs is ‘Ahmed’, an Afghan man currently in Germany, on account of Biden’s mass evacuation, and the lawsuit insists that he be allowed to come to America because “he does not know the German language, which prevents him from working in Germany to support himself”.

President Trump signed an executive order Wednesday closing a trade loophole on cheap goods from China that were previously exempt from tariffs.
Trump, 78, argued that the so-called “de minimus” exception allowed shippers from the People’s Republic and Hong Kong to “hide illicit substances” in packaging and products.
“These shippers often avoid detection due to administration of the de minimis exemption,” the president wrote, claiming that duty-free exports from China “play a significant role in the synthetic opioid crisis in the United States.” Packages subject to de minimus treatment are valued at less than $800.

Republican lawmakers praised President Donald Trump for announcing that foreign countries would be hit with reciprocal tariffs and that there would be a 25 percent tariff imposed on foreign-made vehicles.
Rep. Tim Moore (R-NC), Rep. Addison McDowell (R-NC), Sen. Rick Scott (R-FL), Rep. Troy Nehls (R-TX), and Rep. Andy Harris (R-MD) were among the Republicans who praised Trump on what was labeled “Liberation Day.” Trump was praised for “leveling the playing field for American workers,” and for putting American workers first.

Washington— Vice President JD Vance told Breitbart News exclusively on Wednesday evening that for the “first time in probably 40 years,” the United States has a president in President Donald Trump who is reversing the trend of the U.S. serving as a “piggy bank” for the rest of the world.
“So for 40 years, America has been the piggy bank of the world,” Vance said when asked about the importance of the president’s announcement on Wednesday. “We absorb all of the ridiculous trade practices and economic practices of friend and foe alike. For the first time in probably 40 years, we have an American president who’s saying, ‘No more,’

Attorney General Pam Bondi has recommended that prosecutors should seek the death penalty in the case of accused murderer Luigi Mangione.
Over on ‘The View,’ Joy Behar recently wondered if this decision would cause a ‘backlash’ against Republicans. This betrays Behar’s entire worldview.
It doesn’t matter to her what happened, or the fact that a completely innocent man was murdered in cold blood. All that matters to Behar is that there is a possibility that something might go badly for Republicans. That is all Behar thinks about, that is all she cares about. Ever.

LOS ANGELES, California — Consumers in Los Angeles County were shocked Tuesday as a new quarter-percent sales tax, ostensibly to raise funds for services for the homeless, went into effect following a referendum in November.
L.A. voters passed Measure A, which replaced and increased an earlier county-wide sales tax for the homeless. That tax, passed a decade ago, failed to stem the growth of the homeless population and may even have encouraged it.
As Breitbart News reported in November:
The UK Sun noted the effect of the tax on consumers’ pocketbooks:
The sales tax went up from 9.5% to 9.75% to increase funding to prevent homelessness.

Women’s fencer Stephanie Turner refused a match against a transgender opponent at the Cherry Blossom Open in Maryland this past weekend, opting to take a knee instead.
When Turner learned that she would be facing off against transgender fencer Redmond Sullivan, she wanted her protest to be caught on video and decided to take a knee just before the match began. She had already participated in warmups and competed in four bouts that day. Take a look: Speaking with Fox News, Turner said USA Fencing has failed to listen to women’s views on trans athletes participating in their sport.

Donald Trump's decision to impose new tariffs on all goods entering the US is a "major blow to the world economy", European Commission chief Ursula von der Leyen has said.
Her comments echo those of a number of other countries, including China, which has expressed its opposition to the move and has warned it will take "resolute countermeasures" against the US.
Their words of warning come after the US president announced a universal 10% tariff on all imports into the US from 5 April. Around 60 countries will also be hit with steeper tariffs from 9 April.

There are two stories here. Once is the ongoing wave of vandalism and domestic terrorism by left-wing nutjobs and the other is the silence of Democrats. Neither of these stories is really breaking news at this point, but I haven't stopped caring and I don't think our readers have either.
So on that note, let's just go over a few acts of vandalism and the people who've been either identified as suspects or already arrested. Apparently these people don't understand that Tesla's have lots of cameras.
In Boston, a woman was captured on video throwing a brick through the window of a Tesla.
