Rogue judges who act like the president need to be held accountable, Rep. Brandon Gill, R-TX, said Wednesday. “This [U.S. District Judge James Boasberg] is an activist, left-wing district court judge who decided to take it upon himself to act as commander in chief of the United States and demand that President [Donald] Trump bring a plane full of Aragua alien terrorists back into the United States. That is a blatant usurpation of the executive's authority. I think that it does warrant impeachment, and I've been very clear about that for the past several weeks,” Gill told Newsmax. Gill introduced Articles of Impeachment against Boasberg

Maybe Trump should put on a black robe and be his own judge. It's all about tit/tat, goose/gander, pot/kettle, potato/potahto, comme ci, comme ça, and a few more I can't think of. Here come da judge, Here come da judge.

With the thin majorities they have, the best route may be to just eliminate the DC District Courts legislatively, not impeachment.

Democrats are acting like they can say things with impunity; you can’t. I’m a free speech extremist, folks—but there are apparent legal ramifications when you accuse someone of sexual impropriety when they have not committed any such act ever. On Tuesday, Rep. Sydney Kamlager-Dove (D-CA) smeared Matt Taibbi, an independent liberal journalist, during a House Foreign Affairs Subcommittee hearing. She labeled him a serial sexual harasser. It was a blatant attempt to discredit Taibbi’s work, which has been brutal in exposing the censorship industrial complex within our national media and social media apparatuses. Taibbi is used to the heat—he was the subject of an IRS audit

When Beltway people and media members talk about the upcoming fight over renewing or making permanent the 2017 Trump tax cuts, the conversation often gets bogged down in details like the reconciliation process, the Parliamentarian's rulings on what can be included in such a legislative package, and internal debates over the sequencing of bills. The how is, of course, very important, but it's not the biggest story here. The other major angle that's often presented is whether or not Congressional Republicans will be able to cobble together the votes (which just got a little easier this week) to pass President Trump's signature agenda items.

The slow-motion suicide of Once-Great Britain continues apace as His Majesty's Government decides that a "rapist’s criminal record is so bad he can’t be deported" back to Jamaica. If this story sounds familiar, I promise you it's fresh news — about a stale idea. A Jamaican national — whose identity is being kept secret — was allowed visitor status in the UK in 2001 after spending more than a decade in his home country's witness protection program. Again, many details haven't been made public, but the man's mother was the star prosecution witness in a trial that put away a local gang leader for murder.

Police officers stood by and did nothing to stop the Antifa thugs as they destroyed the TPUSA canopy and assaulted students. [Tweet, video] “Antifascista! A! A moderate Democrat is expressing cautious optimism at President Donald Trump's stance on tariffs in a stark departure from most of his party's infuriated reaction. Rep. Jared Golden, D-Maine, pointed out in a lengthy statement that he himself proposed a 10% blanket tariff on U.S. imports earlier this year and said he was happy Trump's baseline policy was the same – and even publicly pledged to work with Trump on enshrining it in federal law in a subsequent interview with Fox News Digital. "What I can say now is I’m pleased the president is building his tariff agenda on the foundation of a universal 10% tariff

In this age of rage, it is common for people to become the very thing that they despise in others, jettisoning their most cherished values to strike out at those they hate. Since the election, Democrats have shown that very self-destructive quality of rage in adopting anti-immigrant, anti-free speech, anti-labor, and even anti-environmental positions to get at Donald Trump or his supporters. It consumes every part of a person. It is addictive, and it is contagious. What these rage addicts will not admit, however, is that they like it; they need it. That was evident this week in New York,
