Carville: Trump ‘Collapse’ Is Already Underway

During an appearance on Thursday’s broadcast of Fox News Channel’s “Hannity,” long-time Democrat strategist and media commentator James Carville declared the collapse of President Donald Trump to be underway already. Carville, who predicted former Vice President Kamala Harris would be elected to the presidency last November, cited polling and urged Democrats to “just sit back” and let the so-called “collapse” take place. “[L]et me back up,” he said. “We went with our seven-string quarterback, and we lost by a point and a half, and we actually picked up a congressional seat. So, if you’re asking me, did I think that she was going to win and she didn’t win? Yes,

The left should ask themselves if all their attacks on Trump have done nothing other than solidify Trump's support. Perhaps their best course of action would be to do nothing. That won't happen. Too many big lefty egos at work. Besides critics are paid to be critics.

Hyperbole from the guy who predicted a win for the seventh-stringer. As of 2/19, Real Clear Politics shows average Trump approval/disapproval at 49.2/47.8. On the other hand, DOGE hyperbole could come back to bite; e.g., the breakout of people without death records has no relationship with the numbers receiving Social Security, yet that's how it's being presented. For DOGE, I wish they'd measure twice and cut once.

Delusional, desperate thinking. There are Medicaid cuts going on; of Medicaid being used to support illegal immigrants. Carville is thinking that the imploding media will stir this into a Boogeyman to scare legitimate Medicare recipients. The first problem for this is that it's an easily disprovable lie. The second is, no one believes the media any more. The Left is casting around for an issue. Before they could make one up and it could get traction. Those days are over. Trump responds to lies almost instantaneously and blows them out of the water and the Left looks dumber each time. Then the Left thrashes around in its misery calling everyone names like a little kid. The Left has no credibility and deserves no respect.

On January 1 of 2024, AT posted Glock switches: let the buyer beware. In that article I wrote: "A 'Glock Switch' is a small device that replaces the slide-in plate at the back of a Glock’s slide. It supposedly allows slide-in, fully automatic fire. Glock does make an automatic pistol, the Glock 18, which is a Glock 17 with a selector lever on the rear of the slide on the left side. Properly used by competent shooters, which means firing 2-3 round bursts, the 18 is entirely controllable. Abortion is “health care.” Illegal aliens are “undocumented citizens.” The homeless are the “unhoused,” or recently and more and more ridiculously, “people experiencing homelessness,” while people who have ties to Latin America are “Latinx” (although most Latinos in reality want nothing to do with the term). It’s been an exhausting four weeks for anyone watching the administration’s effort to reshape, modernize, and clean up the federal government. It’s been an avalanche of Executive Orders, confirmation hearings, court battles, and staff reshufflings and removals. “The choice was between a slow canoe ride through more of the same, or a roller coaster. Americans chose the roller coaster.” A lot of things have been made clear. The most significant is that as things were going, the roles of the president and Congress had been largely diminished in recent years. Unelected bureaucrats in the U.S. Treasury were in charge of disbursing the money allocated by the federal budget to

One statistic that the gun-control crowd loves to toss around is that gun violence is highest in deep red states and lowest in deep blue states. And statistically speaking, they're correct. Per the CDC, the states with the highest per capita rates for gun murders are Mississippi, Louisiana, New Mexico, Alabama, and Missouri. The states with the lowest rates are Rhode Island, Massachusetts, Hawaii, New Jersey, and New York. So what's going on here? Is this simply a systemic problem of violent, gun totin', insurrectionist inbreds barreling through the backwoods in their pickup trucks, yeehawing and looking for my-NAHR-uh-ties to shoot?

But debts are mounting and more drastic action is needed for the 41-year-old brand. If Hooters cannot refinance its debt, it would have to consider bankruptcy and more closures. Everywhere you turn, you’re confronted with “the message,” be it in grade schools, on college campuses, while watching television or movies, or at work. There are no “safe spaces” sheltered from the deluge—not even FEMA’s hurricane recovery efforts have been spared. How did such a small “community” capture America’s institutions? The answer is complex, but a new database by The Project to Expose Corporate Activism (PECA) shines a light on a significant part of the story.
