Even as defeated Democrats try to decide who they are and what they believe in, their media handmaidens face a crisis of their own.
The comeuppance against their politically driven bias has arrived — and it’s proving to be expensive in more ways than one.
Recent days have reconfirmed that their war against Donald Trump is their most egregious assault on truth and fairness, but it was hardly the first or only.
CNN was caught this week boasting it helped free a desperate Syrian prisoner from a government slaughterhouse in Damascus.
Problem is, the man was quickly unmasked as an intelligence officer for the hated Assad regime,

Investigators are examining the digital footprint of Madison, Wisconsin school shooter Natalie 'Samantha' Rupnow as well as looking into verifying a possible manifesto that the 15-year-old may have left behind.
Rupnow opened fire on kids and staff at Abundant Life Christian School on Monday - raining bullets in the study hall and killing two before turning the gun on herself.
Accounts being linked to Rupnow online show an obsession with possible white supremacist ideologies and infamous past school shooters, as well as a chilling message from the 'Unabomber' Ted Kaczynski.

The Committee on House Administration Subcommittee on Oversight released a report finding that there was “no evidence” that President-elect Donald Trump supported rioters on January 6, 2021, who had called for former Vice President Mike Pence to be hung.
In an interim report released on Tuesday, the committee released its “findings on the events surrounding” the January 6, 2021, riot at the United States Capitol Building and the “politicization” of the January 6 Select Committee.Among the list of findings included in the report were ones that found Trump “did not attack his Secret Service detail” at any point that day, “there was no pre-planned off-the-record move to the Capitol

During COVID, government employees across the country were able to begin working from home and now, years later, they don’t want to give that up.
Trump wants to put an end to this. He expects people to actually show up to their offices to do their jobs. Can you imagine that?
Trump is serious about this too, and wants to fire employees who won’t return to working in-person. He absolutely should. if these people don’t need to show up for work, what are taxpayers paying them for?

It may seem somewhat anti-climactic, given that the outcome of the presidential race was clear in the wee hours of November 6, but Tuesday was the day the Electoral College formally met and cast their votes for the president and vice president, pursuant to 3 U.S. Code § 7.
The certified slates of electors for each state and the District of Columbia met in their respective states, beginning with Maryland and continuing through to Hawaii. [Tweet]
And while it was Pennsylvania that made Trump's victory a certainty on Election Night (despite the fact that it took a while longer for some states to get their final tallies sorted —

Police in Aurora, Colorado, reported that 14 people have been detained after a home invasion and stabbing at an apartment complex at the center of alleged activity from the dangerous Tren de Aragua gang.

The Aurora Police Department (APD) posted a message to X Tuesday morning and reported that 14 were arrested at the Edge at Lowry Apartment complex at around 2:30 a.m. when officers responded to a report

Massachusetts being Massachusetts, Elizabeth Warren (D-Cherokee Nation) is still in the Senate, and while she maintained a relatively low profile during the presidential campaign, she is now sending up new smoke signals. After years of turning a blind eye to the massive corruption of the Biden crime family, to say nothing of the Clintons and other leftists, Warren has suddenly discovered that public servants shouldn’t enrich themselves at the public trough, and she’s demanding action. The only problem is, as you may already have suspected, she is demanding it of all the wrong people.

It is not entirely easy to tell. There was no big announcement that the seemingly interminable vote counting was finally finished. The sites that provide vote totals, however, have carried the same totals for about a week, when previously they were updating many times a day. And so it may be safe to say that the presidential election of 2024 is finally over. It ends with over three million fewer votes cast in 2024 than there were in 2020. Is that fishy? With so many allegations of chicanery swirling around the 2020 election, the answer is obvious.
Still, there may be a perfectly innocuous explanation.

Senate Democrats proposed a constitutional amendment on Dec. 16 that would abolish the Electoral College and ensure the country’s presidential elections were determined by the popular vote.
“It is time to retire this 18th-century invention that disenfranchises millions of Americans,” Senate Judiciary Chairman Dick Durbin (D-Ill.) said in a press release.
He and Sens. Brian Schatz (D-Hawaii) and Peter Welch (D-Vt.) proposed the legislation after another proposal emerged in the House last week.

This is one of the most striking facts I have come across in a long time: US companies now account for 65% of the world’s total market capitalization. Via Stephen Moore’s Unleash Prosperity Hotline: No wonder all the traders on the floor of the New York Stock Exchange broke out in a “USA, USA, USA” chant when Trump visited last week.
The HOTLINE has frequently reported on the rising global dominance of American stocks. The end of November marked a new milestone: US equities now represent over 65% of global market capitalization. Japan is number two at just 5.5%. China’s companies are about one-twentieth as valuable as U.S. firms.

Trump attorneys Edward Paltzik and Alan Ostergren filed the 29-page lawsuit Monday in the Iowa District Court for Polk County, seeking a jury trial. They allege that the defendants, including Selzer, the Des Moines Register, which sponsored the poll, its parent company Gannett Co., Inc., and Tribune Company, engaged in “brazen election interference” to benefit Harris. Fox News first reported that Trump had filed the suit.

The factions are accustomed to nearly on-demand access to goods and services. Both factions utilize a thoroughly integrated, embedded delivery infrastructure for both. Just how integrated? Freight, facts and figures from the U.S. Bureau of Transportation Statistics puts it in context.

But I do keep an eye on that, and my weight has been trending downwards, gradually; I'm active, but as I get older, I find my appetite isn't what it once was, and despite the few extra pounds I still manage to maintain a rural Alaska homestead with all the rigors that entails - not to mention spending the odd fall day hiking into the spruce woods looking for grouse and hares.

Donald Trump sued ABC News and George Stephanopoulos over the "This Week" host's lies about the judgment against Donald Trump in the E. Jean Carroll case.
ABC agreed to a $15 million settlement and a $1 million payment to Trump's lawyers. At issue in the case was Stephanopoulos' insistence that Donald Trump was found liable for raping Carroll--which was not the case.
Here is the exchange that started it all. We can argue about how insane the case itself was--only a New York jury would have found Trump liable for something this absurd--but even assuming the verdict was reasonable, the jury specifically said that Trump did not rape Carroll.

Back in September 1999, when Trump first began talking about running for president,

There has been a development in the Ukraine war - that is, if you trust the source:
North Korean troops have been killed fighting Ukrainian forces in Russia's Kursk border region, the US has said.
These would be the first reported casualties since it emerged in October that North Korea had sent around 10,000 troops to reinforce Russia's war effort.
Ukraine's military intelligence agency, the GUR, has also said at least 30 North Korean troops had been killed or wounded in fighting over the weekend.[snip] Independently verifying US claims is a tricky business, at least for the next month or so.

One of Vladimir Putin's top army generals in charge of nuclear and biological forces has been killed in an explosion after a bomb hidden in an electric scooter was detonated outside his apartment in Moscow.
Lieutenant General Igor Kirillov died in the blast moments after he emerged from his apartment block with his assistant, who was also killed.
He is believed to be the most senior military officer to be assassinated since Russia launched its full-scale invasion of Ukraine in February 2022.
The bombing - claimed by a member of Ukraine's SBU security service - came a day after Kyiv had accused Kirillov of overseeing the widespread use of banned chemical weapons

President-elect Donald Trump has once again promised to “end birthright citizenship” for the U.S.-born children of illegal and nonimmigrant aliens.
But can he do this without amending the Constitution?
Yes, he can—at least according to the original meaning of the 14th Amendment’s citizenship clause, which, as I explained at great length in an earlier law review article and a pair of Heritage Foundation Legal Memos, is far different from the interpretation offered by most modern scholars.

The Washington Free Beacon recently reported that the Biden administration’s stunningly unjust Department of Justice “quietly weighed in on litigation pending before the Supreme Court this week, siding with liberal cities and states that are seeking to force the nation's largest oil companies to pay billions of dollars in damages for global warming.”
Biden’s Solicitor General, Elizabeth Prelogar, is pushing the Supreme Court to give its imprimatur to the notion that states can make laws mandating that oil companies pay “the costs of global climate change.” Prelogar is also urging SCOTUS to “allow Democratic states to pursue their individual lawsuits against the various companies.”

As America prepares to transition to a new presidential administration, I want to take stock of the progress we have made together in laying the foundations for an economy that creates opportunity for all Americans. Over the last four years, we’ve faced some of the most challenging economic conditions in our history. Not only have we recovered, we’ve come out stronger, and have laid foundations for a promising new chapter in our American comeback story. It will take years to see the full effects in terms of new jobs and new investments all around the country, but

President-elect Donald Trump on Monday announced a handful of U.S. ambassador nominations.
His picks for ambassadors to Japan, the Dominican Republic, Austria, Luxembourg and Uruguay were made on Truth Social and shared by the Trump-Vance Transition. George Edward Glass, former U.S. Ambassador to Portugal in Trump's first term, was chosen to be the next ambassador to Japan.
As a former President of an Investment Bank, George will bring his business acumen to the Ambassador’s position. George graduated from the University of Oregon, served as Alumni President, and on its Board of Trustees. He will always PUT AMERICA FIRST. Congratulations George!

We are up against the most widespread corruption in history. It covers the entire planet.
Corruption is human nature. Hard work is...well, hard work. If you have a position of power, why not use it? As long as you don’t go too far, people usually won’t object.
“Your son wants a job with my company? Do me a favor, and I’ll hire him.”
But when corruption involves government funds — which belong to the people — it’s a violation of public trust. “We give you our hard-earned tax money, and you spend it for your own benefit.”
The “Spoils System“ was a regular feature of the early history

As part of the book debut for “One Question Remains”, I was honored to interview co-author Robert Morss. This is where I learned the encompassing and at times, mind-blowing pieces of the creation process, humbling inspiration and grand purpose.
Robert Morss and Kelly Meggs crafted this 360° view of January 6th by connecting the dots on years of compounded data. Together they unveil a larger picture of ground level view – to – bird’s eye view. Think, Founding Fathers…past Presidents…winding the clock back to 2016 when Bernie Sanders got axed…to the election Trump wasn’t supposed to win…. James O’Keefe dropped an undercover video on Monday in which one of President Joe Biden's National Security Council advisors explains that the cognitively declining president is far worse off than the public knows. The video should not be shocking — given the countless number of times we've seen Biden's brain malfunction, the confused president shake hands with the air or wander around aimless on a stage after he finishes speaking, and other clear signs that his dementia is rapidly progressing — but it is.
National Security Council (NSC) advisor Henry Appel spoke frankly about the current state of Biden's deteriorating state, unaware that he was being filmed.

Postmaster General Louis DeJoy’s bizarre and frankly childish behavior during testimony before Congress wasn’t the U.S. Postal Service’s worst moment last week. That came two days later.
DeJoy, appearing before the House Oversight and Accountability Committee, was told by Republican Rep. Rich McCormick of Georgia that he is “responsible for the fall of the Postal Service and the lack of accountability.” DeJoy retorted that “this Congress is responsible for it falling apart” and insisted he was “trying to fix” the post office.
He then told McCormick that “you’re talking to yourself” and covered his ears with his hands

Something funny happened to a CNN film crew on the road to Damascus, and unlike the tale of Paul the Apostle, it wasn't some miraculous conversion. It was, instead, an attempt at garnering some award-winning footage and a big story that would, presumably, rock the airways and the internet and result in accolades, big raises, and corner offices at CNN headquarters. Except, it wasn't. The "prisoner" was revealed to be one of the ousted Syrian regime's torturers. OK, we all make mistakes, and it's good to own up to them when we do. But given CNN's history,

The NATO war in Ukraine is essentially lost. Russia holds the strongest position against Kyiv and its supporters. President Donald Trump is set to take office in the USA raising new questions over Europeans’ trade relations, elimination of the Marshal Plan, and EU spending on their own common defense. Then add the slow-motion collapse of Trudeau’s Canadian government, and consider… Hungary has rebuked the Brussels control agenda. Georgia has rejected NATO and the EU’s manipulation. The government of France, essentially Germany’s most powerful partner leading the European Union, collapsed on a few short weeks ago.

Why on earth are we hearing more expressions of empathy for Luigi Mangione, alleged assassin of United Healthcare CEO, Brian Thompson, than for his young children left Fatherless?
The latest news uncovered about Mr. Mangione is that he was not a subscriber to United Healthcare, so he hadn't suffered any personal grievance from the company. What United Healthcare probably represented to the killer is unbridled hatred of giant corporations instilled by Ivy league academics to the vacant minds of privileged students.

Incoming U.S. President Donald Trump’s transition team is recommending sweeping changes to cut off support for electric vehicles and charging stations and to strengthen measures blocking cars, components and battery materials from China, according to a document seen by Reuters. The recommendations, which have not been previously reported, come as the U.S. electric-vehicle transition stalls and China’s heavily subsidized EV industry continues to surge, in part because of its superior battery supply chain. On the campaign trail, Trump vowed to ease regulations on fossil-fuel cars and roll back what he called President Joe Biden’s EV mandate.

Judge Juan Merchan on Monday rejected a request from Trump’s attorneys to dismiss charges brought by Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg, citing claims of presidential immunity, Fox News reports.
The decision follows a July motion by Trump and his legal team asking Merchan to overturn his guilty verdict in New York v. Trump. They argued that the U.S. Supreme Court’s ruling on presidential immunity for official acts should apply.
However, Merchan ruled that the trial evidence pertained "entirely to unofficial conduct and, thus, receive no immunity protections."
"Further, even if this Court were to deem all of the contested evidence,

When certain Washington, D.C., waitstaff pledged to "refuse service and cause other inconveniences for members of the incoming Trump administration" last week, my first thought was, "Fire them all. Every single one."
That's a silly idea, of course — local restaurants couldn't fire that much staff without major disruptions, even for the customers they do like. I just like to vent my id before I sit down and actually think through a problem. "You just have to fire a few," was my second thought. "Maybe just one."
The story probably wouldn't have gone anywhere had it not been for Democrats sympathetic to displays of incivility toward conservatives.

Those who followed the details of the U.S, Mexico and Canada trade agreement, can easily see how Chrystia Freeland was never going to be the right person for Canada to have as Finance Minister while they attempt to navigate President Trump’s economic policy again.
In fact, I would not be surprised if someone in Mar-a-Lago told Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau he needed to ice her out if Trudeau wanted to stand a chance of a relationship with Donald Trump. As many people noted during her gleeful confiscation of funds from the trucker protests, Deputy Prime Minister/Finance Minister Chrystia Freeland is a conniving, scheming, and all-around nasty piece of work.

On Dec. 11, ABC News’ Jay O’Brien reported false information about Linda McMahon, President-elect Donald Trump’s pick for U.S. secretary of education, on “ABC News Live Prime.”
In the first minute of an eight-minute overview, O’Brien stated that McMahon has no formal education training and little experience:
“If she receives Senate confirmation, McMahon, who has no formal teaching training and little experience in education, will be tasked with setting policies for the nation’s schools.”

While much national attention is on the first 100 days of the Trump 2.0 presidency, there is growing reason to be concerned about the final days of Joe Biden's term.
Among those with a powerful interest in disrupting the peaceful transfer of power to a new Trump administration are: the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), world government globalists, Sharia-supremacists, deep state bureaucrats and assorted homegrown and foreign-enabled terrorists, jihadists, and other revolutionaries. These hostile forces' ability to create chaos in the United States – especially collectively – cannot safely be ignored.

If they have any instinct for self-preservation, Iran and Hamas should be monitoring President-elect Donald Trump’s communications very closely these days.
A couple of weeks ago, there was the Truth Social post promising “ALL HELL TO PAY” if Hamas didn’t release its hostages by Trump’s inauguration on Jan. 20.
“Those responsible,” Trump noted, “will be hit harder than anybody has been hit in the long and storied History of the United States of America.”
He followed up during a press conference Monday.
When asked what he meant by his prior threat, Trump left it menacingly vague. “Well,” he said, referring to our adversaries, “they’re going to have to determine what that means,

A senior Russian general was killed Tuesday by a bomb hidden in a scooter outside his apartment building in Moscow, a day after Ukraine’s security agency leveled criminal charges against him. A Ukrainian official said the country’s security service carried out the attack.
Lt. Gen. Igor Kirillov, the chief of the military’s nuclear, biological and chemical protection forces, was killed as he left for his office. Kirillov’s assistant also died in the bombing, which was triggered remotely, according to Russian news reports. Images from the scene showed shattered windows and scorched and blackened brickwork.

There are growing indications that President Biden is about to fundamentally change the use of presidential pardons by granting “prospective” or “preemptive” pardons to political allies.
Despite repeated denials of President-elect Donald Trump that he is seeking retaliation against opponents and wants “success [to be] my revenge,” Democratic politicians and pundits have called for up to thousands of such pardons.
While there is little threat of any viable prosecution of figures like the members of the House’s Jan. 6 committee, the use of “White Knight pardons” offers obvious political benefits.
After many liberals predicted the imminent collapse of democracy and that opponents would be rounded up by the Trump administration,

Part of Herald Square’s holiday market was left in smoldering ruins Monday when a blaze ripped through several booths, leaving one firefighter seriously injured.
The fire broke out around 4 a.m., igniting a swath of the festive shopping corridor on Broadway between West 35th and West 36th Streets just after 4 a.m., the FDNY said.
Photos from the devastating scene show multiple vendors’ booths reduced to rubble, with only their green awnings lined with garland still intact. One firefighter suffered serious but non-life-threatening injuries while battling the flames, and was taken to NYU Langone’s Tisch Hospital, the department said.

Following the shooting on Monday at Abundant Life Christian School in Wisconsin, Joe Biden is issuing a renewed call for greater gun control.
This news comes mere weeks after Joe Biden pardoned his son Hunter for, among other things, gun crime. Hunter lied on a federal firearms application and then had his girlfriend dispose of the gun in a gas station trash can near a school, another crime.
This is a man with absolutely zero shame.
The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports:
