Demand an End to Corruption

Original Article

We are up against the most widespread corruption in history. It covers the entire planet. Corruption is human nature. Hard work is...well, hard work. If you have a position of power, why not use it? As long as you don’t go too far, people usually won’t object. “Your son wants a job with my company? Do me a favor, and I’ll hire him.” But when corruption involves government funds — which belong to the people — it’s a violation of public trust. “We give you our hard-earned tax money, and you spend it for your own benefit.” The “Spoils System“ was a regular feature of the early history

We can fight fraud as aggressively as possible and we will win some occasional battles but sin is an inescapable part of our fallen nature. The war will not be won until Christ Himself returns. That said it is our corporate responsibility to try.

Prosecuting those who have broken the law is the ONLY way to combat this. Letting one section of the country get away with murder (and everything else), while holding everyone else accountable and even misinterpreting laws to punish them is what banana republics do. This is exactly why I keep saying Trump's administration has to convict and punish those who have broken the laws for the last decade and a half. NO ONE is above the law.

How sweet! Gleason thinks we can just "demand" and end to corruption. It is already enthroned among THE Commandments. Maybe we should just shout it louder. /s

We common nobodies cannot "demand" anything. We have no power over them and they let us know that at every opportunity. A lion can make demands. A sheep cannot. We will not get teeth through the corrupt judicial system. Nor will we through the corrupt election system. When congress has a single digit approval rating but over 90% get re-elected every time, the fix is in. I suspect thats why we haven't been able to conquer death yet. Nature provides our only justice.

House Speaker Mike Johnson’s (R-LA) favorability is declining, sinking even lower than Democrat President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris, a new poll shows. Polling from The Economist/YouGov shows Johnson with a 30 percent favorability rating, well below Biden’s 40 percent rating and Harris’s 44 percent. Thirty-six percent of poll respondents say they have an unfavorable view of Johnson, and 34 percent who “don’t know.” The results show a slight decline in public opinion from last month, when another YouGov survey showed Johnson with 33 percent approval and 34 percent disapproval.

Canada is tightening its immigration rules to reduce cheating and illegal entries only days after President-elect Donald Trump criticized Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and his liberal policies. On Wednesday, Canadian Immigration Minister Marc Miller announced several changes to the country’s immigration laws as Americans have voted to put Donald Trump into the White House with his pledge to implement the biggest deportation policy in American history. Trudeau’s retreat from his unpopular mass migration policy comes as he faces the imminent collapse of his majority in Canada’s parliament.

House Speaker Mike Johson (R-LA) might have a hard time retaining his position if Rep. Thomas Massie (R-KY), one of his most vocal critics, has anything to say about it.Massie recently told The Hill that he would not back Johnson for Speaker next time around due to a series of issues. He said his refusal to support Johnson was because of “all the grievances I had this summer, when we tried to vacate. And then this bill,” referring to the current debate over the 1,547-page continuing resolution that the speaker and other lawmakers are trying to pass to avoid a government shutdown. Massie’s vote could be critical in determining whether Johnson

George Stephanopoulos was repeatedly told by his executive producer not to “use the word rape” before going on the air to discuss Donald Trump but the ABC News anchor ignored the warning — a decision that cost the network $16 million, The Post has learned. Parent company Disney’s capitulation last week in the defamation lawsuit by Trump against ABC News and Stephanopoulos shocked media and legal experts, but the damning revelation could help explain why Mouse House CEO Bob Iger signed off on the settlement so quickly. The “This Week” host uttered that Trump was “liable for rape” while discussing the civil lawsuit won by journalist E. Jean Carroll during an interview
