DENVER (KDVR) — Fourteen people were detained by Aurora police following a reported armed home invasion at the troubled apartment complex, the Edge at Lowry. Aurora police chief Todd Chamberlain said in a press conference on Tuesday that at about 8:45 p.m. Monday at 1258 Dallas St., a male and a female victim were accosted by 13-15 armed individuals. Chamberlain said 13 were male and possibly three suspects were female. The victims were then forced into a different unit in the same complex against their will. There, Chamberlain said the victims were bound, beaten, pistol-whipped, and the male victim suffered a stab wound.

Comments:

We're still being gaslighted by our governor and various local officials who tell us that illegals are not a problem in the Denver metro area. These are the people Denver's mayor wants to protect from deportation.

Here's what I say to the Denver PD: Hang onto them for 40 days. On the 41st, the new admin will take them off your hands and transport them somewhere. Out of your district.

But the governor said this wasn’t true. He would never lie, would he? Deport them. So anxious for 1/20/25 when the moron goes to the beach permanently and takes the neurosurgeon with him.

I am not normally a violent person, but this has to stop. If it takes gunning down these violent criminals, then so be it. This is on Biden's head or the cabal in the WH actually calling the shots. They opened the border on purpose to let an overwhelming invasion of people who have no right to be here. The illegals are looking for an easier life, the criminals are looking for easier pickings, and the Democrats are looking for votes and permanent power.

Round of applause for Govs. Ron DeSantis (R-FL) and Greg Abbott (R-TX)! Two of Hollywood’s biggest liberals just admitted that Republicans bussing illegal immigrants to Democrat-led states was the “smartest” thing they could have done. Former daytime talk show host Katie Couric and American political strategist for the Democratic Party Jessica Tarlov praised the GOP’s move of shipping illegal aliens to the Democrat governor’s doorstep when the effects of the Biden-Harris Administration’s immigration crisis were at its worst.

Senior advisers to Vice President Kamala Harris’ failed presidential campaign suggested this week that there just wasn’t much else Harris could have done to beat Donald Trump. Harris couldn’t have distanced herself from President Joe Biden, they said, because she was loyal. She couldn’t have responded more forcefully to attacks over trans rights, because doing so would have been playing Trump’s game. And she might not have had much chance of winning anyway, given the deficit she inherited from Biden when he dropped out of the race in July.

Donald Trump’s sweeping victory in the 2024 election saw the end of a host of political assumptions — about the country, the inevitability of the left’s generation-shifting agenda and the inability of the Republican Party to penetrate key demographics that have proven resistant to its message. But it also ends one of the most vile and corrupt strains of political activity in the past eight years: the professionalized NeverTrump movement, which raised scads of cash — “generational wealth,” in the phrasing of Steve Schmidt — selling an obviously failed product to Trump’s antagonists.
