Senate Democrats proposed a constitutional amendment on Dec. 16 that would abolish the Electoral College and ensure the country’s presidential elections were determined by the popular vote.
“It is time to retire this 18th-century invention that disenfranchises millions of Americans,” Senate Judiciary Chairman Dick Durbin (D-Ill.) said in a press release.
He and Sens. Brian Schatz (D-Hawaii) and Peter Welch (D-Vt.) proposed the legislation after another proposal emerged in the House last week.

Michelle Obama appeared on the Jennifer Hudson Show wearing a skirt that resembled a trash bag and slouchy over-the-knee boots.
“The former first lady sat down with Hudson for a conversation that touched on the holiday season, her new book “Overcoming: A Workbook” and the Netflix series “The Later Daters,” which she and Barack Obama helped produce through their company Higher Ground. For the daytime talk show interview, Obama wore an asymmetrical black dress from Bottega Veneta in a leather-like material underneath a blazer which brought a business energy to the look and introduced a taupe hue,”

During an interview with Boston 25 on Tuesday, First Lady Jill Biden defended President Joe Biden pardoning their son, Hunter, by stating that the President “talked to a lot of legal experts,” about the prospects of pardoning Hunter and “circumstances changed.”
Boston 25 Host and Investigative Reporter Kerry Kavanaugh said that she asked Biden if there are things she wished resonated more with the American public and then played a clip of Biden saying, “I think some of the accomplishments of the White House, some of the things that Joe did, opening our schools, ending the pandemic, the infrastructure, just so many things that he accomplished.

Hollywood LGBTQ stars and other elites are reportedly in a state of panic over the incoming second Trump administration, with some having already fled the country or are considering doing so in the near future.
“It’s keeping me up at night [worrying] for myself and the wider community, especially the transgender community,”Kirsten Schaffer, executive director of Women in Film, told TheWrap. “There were more guardrails last time: [Trump] didn’t have the House, Senate and judiciary.” “I think there will be a much bigger exodus from America this time around,” screenwriter Brent Hartinger, who left the country in 2017 after Trump was elected the first time, told the outlet.

President Joe Biden appears to be struggling with the prospect of retiring from public life, according to a New York Times report published Tuesday.
After Democrats ousted him as their presidential candidate in July, Biden, 82, who has been a public official since 1973 (51 years), is not enjoying the prospects of sunsetting his over half a century long career at the center of American politics, the NYT’s Peter Baker and Zolan Kanno-Youngs reported.
Biden reportedly told allies after he dropped out of the race that he was bored, moody, and angry. He’s apparently angry because many Democrats opposed his pardon of his son.

During COVID, government employees across the country were able to begin working from home and now, years later, they don’t want to give that up.
Trump wants to put an end to this. He expects people to actually show up to their offices to do their jobs. Can you imagine that?
Trump is serious about this too, and wants to fire employees who won’t return to working in-person. He absolutely should. if these people don’t need to show up for work, what are taxpayers paying them for?

On Monday, during his hosting duties on CNN’s “Newsroom,” Jim Acosta called on media outlets to “stand firm” against President-elect Donald Trump’s efforts to use the legal system to hold the press accountable.
Acosta told CNN contributor Brian Stelter the media should not have to worry “about this sort of stuff.” “I just wonder, Brian, what this is going to mean for news organizations, for tech companies?” Acosta said. “We’re going to talk about the implications for tech companies in a moment, but it seems to me that there’s a lot of this bending the knee going on. And I’m sure the folks over at ABC

For years, conservatives have been vilified as “conspiracy theorists” for claiming the 2020 election was rigged and stolen from President Trump.
The mainstream media and liberal pundits mocked anyone who questioned the outcome, dismissing them as dangerous extremists or delusional crackpots.
Now, the tide has turned, and the hypocrisy is glaringly obvious as liberals peddle their own wild predictions.
Enter USAF veteran and vocal leftist Jerry Doran, who has taken to social media to allege that President Trump will be arrested on December 20th under Executive Order 13848.

James O’Keefe dropped an undercover video on Monday in which one of President Joe Biden's National Security Council advisors explains that the cognitively declining president is far worse off than the public knows. The video should not be shocking — given the countless number of times we've seen Biden's brain malfunction, the confused president shake hands with the air or wander around aimless on a stage after he finishes speaking, and other clear signs that his dementia is rapidly progressing — but it is.
National Security Council (NSC) advisor Henry Appel spoke frankly about the current state of Biden's deteriorating state, unaware that he was being filmed.

ABC News anchor George Stephanopoulos is said to be 'apoplectic' and 'humiliated' following the network's decision to pay $16 million to settle a defamation lawsuit between ABC and Donald Trump.
The settlement, which includes $15 million towards a presidential foundation and $1 million for Trump's legal fees, has sparked a firestorm within the Disney-owned news organization.
Stephanopoulos, a former aide to Bill Clinton in the 1990s, was particularly incensed at being compelled to issue a public apology, according to the New York Post.
Insiders explained how the veteran anchor remains 'defiant' amid the fallout.

Stephanopoulos, who claimed Trump had raped E. Jean Carroll during an interview with Republican lawmaker Nancy Mace, was particularly upset about being forced to apologize, a source with knowledge of the situation said. (Photo) Another source told The Post that “George is defiant.”
A third source said Stephanopoulos “is a very guarded person. His circle of trust is so small, and a lot of them don’t work [at ABC anymore].“

It’s been nearly two weeks since UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson was shot and killed in midtown Manhattan. Thankfully, his alleged killer, Luigi Mangione, 26, was captured after someone recognized him at a McDonald’s in Altoona, Pa.
While the evidence all appears to confirm Mangione is the killer, in a lot of ways, it just doesn’t make sense why this kid, who grew up privileged and went to an Ivy League school and everything, would be driven to murder.
