There's an old saying: When you're in a hole, the first thing you should do is to stop digging. The United States of America is in a hole $36 trillion deep, and we're not only digging, we are frantically burrowing toward the earth's very core. We are in a major spending and debt crisis, and sooner or later, the bill will come due. Few in Congress seem to understand this, but Rep. Chip Roy (R-TX) is lashing out about the spending in the current continuing resolution (CR) being debated in Washington. And boy, howdy, is he ever on fire about it.

Something funny happened to a CNN film crew on the road to Damascus, and unlike the tale of Paul the Apostle, it wasn't some miraculous conversion. It was, instead, an attempt at garnering some award-winning footage and a big story that would, presumably, rock the airways and the internet and result in accolades, big raises, and corner offices at CNN headquarters. Except, it wasn't. The "prisoner" was revealed to be one of the ousted Syrian regime's torturers. OK, we all make mistakes, and it's good to own up to them when we do. But given CNN's history,

The NATO war in Ukraine is essentially lost. Russia holds the strongest position against Kyiv and its supporters. President Donald Trump is set to take office in the USA raising new questions over Europeans’ trade relations, elimination of the Marshal Plan, and EU spending on their own common defense. Then add the slow-motion collapse of Trudeau’s Canadian government, and consider… Hungary has rebuked the Brussels control agenda. Georgia has rejected NATO and the EU’s manipulation. The government of France, essentially Germany’s most powerful partner leading the European Union, collapsed on a few short weeks ago.

While much national attention is on the first 100 days of the Trump 2.0 presidency, there is growing reason to be concerned about the final days of Joe Biden's term.
Among those with a powerful interest in disrupting the peaceful transfer of power to a new Trump administration are: the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), world government globalists, Sharia-supremacists, deep state bureaucrats and assorted homegrown and foreign-enabled terrorists, jihadists, and other revolutionaries. These hostile forces' ability to create chaos in the United States – especially collectively – cannot safely be ignored.

How did President-elect Trump become a billionaire? How did Donald J. Trump, billionaire businessman, bestselling author, mega-successful TV star, become President of the United States in 2016? How did President-elect Trump defy, confront, and prevail over a malevolent Deep State cabal, an American government steeped in collusion, a craven leftwing media, and a mountain of lawfare attacks to win––overwhelmingly––his second bid for POTUS? I always called him the smartest guy in the room. And I suspect that most people would answer those questions––either proudly or grudgingly––by agreeing that his intelligence and also his drive, instincts, charisma, and sheer bravado are the magic ingredients of his blazing success. BUT…UH-OH!

The Iranian regime is obsessive: It obsessively hates Israel and the United States, it obsessively persecutes women, and it obsessively targets dissidents, Jews and politicians abroad.
Even as the Revolutionary Islamic Government’s proxy forces falter, sapping the mullahs’ supposed strength, they show no signs of giving up their fixations.
That is why the United States must take up an obsession of its own — one that applies maximum pressure on Iran.
On Nov. 8, three men were charged in a New York court in connection with an Iranian attempt to assassinate President-elect Donald Trump.

The FBI spoke to Luigi Mangione’s mother the night before her son’s high-profile arrest and told the feds he bore a resemblance to the suspect wanted for killing UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson, according to law enforcement sources.
Members of the Joint Violent Crimes Task Force questioned Kathleen Mangione late Sunday night after receiving a tip from San Francisco police – four days prior – about a missing person’s report the family had filed with the department in November, the sources said.
Police tipped off the feds after they recognized the 26-year-old’s face in surveillance images put out by the NYPD after Thompson, 50,

Experts are worried about how President-elect Trump’s nomination of Robert F. Kennedy as Health and Human Services secretary will affect vaccination rates for school children, which have been on the decline.
Schools have seen a drop in childhood vaccinations since the COVID-19 pandemic, when critics of the COVID-19 vaccines increased anti-vaccine sentiments in generalizing . Public health groups see vaccines as a huge bulwark against disease and fear Kennedy will only increase skepticism if he is confirmed.

Former Director of Counterterrorism of the CIA Bernard Hudson in an op-ed published Friday endorsed Army Lt. Col. Tulsi Gabbard’s nomination as President-elect Donald Trump’s director of national intelligence, praising her as an independent thinker who will restore trust in the nation’s intelligence apparatus.
Hudson wrote in the National Review: “She has the experience, temperament, and professional integrity necessary for the American intelligence community to win and keep the trust of the American people.”

Former stripper and convicted murderer Crystal Mangum admitted Thursday that she lied and “made up a story” that three Duke University lacrosse players raped her at a team party in 2006.
“They trusted me that I wouldn’t betray their trust, and I testified falsely against them by saying that they raped me when they didn’t, and that was wrong,” Magnum told the independent media outlet “Let’s Talk With Kat” at the North Carolina Correctional Institution for Women.
“[I] made up a story that wasn’t true.”

Sen. John Kennedy’s exchange with Retired Army Maj. Gen. Randy Manner during a recent Senate hearing was nothing short of epic. Kennedy, a master of political discourse, delivered a blistering takedown of Manner’s past comments on President Trump and his supporters during a Senate Judiciary Committee hearing on Tuesday. Manner was testifying about the incoming administration’s plans for mass deportations of criminal illegal aliens.Manner began his opening statement by highlighting his 35 years of service in the military, including roles such as Deputy Commanding General of the United States Third Army in Kuwait and Acting Vice Chief of the National Guard Bureau.

President Joe Biden’s pardon of his son Hunter Biden – with years attached for personal reasons – still bothers me in a number of ways. Here’s a guy who went back on his promise not only to lawmakers but also to the American people. All for the sake of protecting his son’s hide, as well as his own.
But I think some recent comments provided by Federal District Judge Mark C. Scarsi really sum up the big problem with the pardon, which took place early last week.Speaking with NBC News earlier in the week, Scarsi, who was also working on Biden’s then-tax case,
