Wichita State University is closing its women’s studies department, one of the oldest in the country, due to continuously low student interest.
The Department of Women, Ethnicity, and Intersectional Studies will be dissolved and its degree program will be merged with the English Department, according to an action plan approved earlier this month by the Kansas Board of Regents.
“As part of the Board’s academic program review process, this year the six state universities in Kansas collectively looked at 31 programs that didn’t meet at least three of four metrics related to enrollment, graduation, employment and earnings,” regents spokesperson Matt Keith said.

An illegal alien previously deported from the United States is accused of sexually assaulting a 14-year-old girl in Okaloosa County, Florida.
Jose Chan, a 24-year-old illegal alien from Guatemala, was arrested and charged with sexual battery by the Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office.
According to law enforcement, Chan sexually assaulted the girl at her home on February 25. Following the alleged assault, the girl told her family members, who transported her to HCA Florida Fort Walton-Destin Hospital.
A medical exam determined the girl had been sexually assaulted and her DNA was found on Chan after he submitted a buccal swab to law enforcement.

The total exposure of the mind-boggling scale of the left’s deception about its candidate is a seminal moment, and a massive logical reckoning is taking place. Many Democrats privately acknowledge that it was a complete failure and hope that Biden will be persuaded to resign so that a younger contender will be able to rescue the Democrats in the upcoming election. Even some anti-Trump Republicans believe that any Democrat besides Joe Biden would beat Trump easily.
But is that even true?

The disaster of Thursday night’s debate provided Americans with two giant revelations.
First, Joe Biden is mentally and physically failing and cannot remain president.
Second, and of greater long-term import, the media has been stripped bare as our most corrupt institution — and that is saying something.
The debate showed everyone what happens when the Democratic communications machine, formerly known as the media, is bypassed, and candidates can be seen clearly by the American people without the filters. The media has been lying — expect this word to come up a lot — to the American people on behalf of Biden and Democrats for years.
In the famous psychological drama, Gaslight, it took a Scotland Yard detective to prove the heroine had been driven half-mad by a gaslighting husband. All it took us to see how we had been deceived was a CNN debate. Who was the villain? How much was the American public the victim of gaslighting designed to dispel the notion that President Biden was mentally and physically unfit to hold the office of president? Let me count the ways.
