For five years, honest political commentators have been pointing out the obvious decline of Joe Biden. Physically, he has fallen off his bike, on stage, and the stairs of Air Force One numerous times. These incidents became so much of a concern that Biden started using the “baby stairs” to enter Air Force One to limit the potential for an accident. President Biden no longer walks with confidence but shuffles his feet. He started using special shoes to help him stay upright. However, after the debate on Thursday night, his wife had to make sure he did not fall, so she assisted him as he gingerly descended a few stairs

President Joe Biden is back to lying to the American people.
During a fundraiser in New Jersey on Saturday, Biden claimed that he won over more undecided voters than former President Donald Trump post his disastrous debate performance.
Biden insisted that the malfunctions he suffered during the 90-minute gaffe-filled debate actually impressed undecided voters rather than deter them from voting for him.
Insert laugh track here.
“Research during the debate shows us converting more undecided voters than Trump did, in large part because of his conduct on Jan. 6,” Biden told the crowd. “People remember the bad things during his presidency.”
The 81-year-old’s bad debate night prompted the country,

The post-debate throw-Biden-overboard movement is somewhat disingenuous. The Democrats brought their problems completely upon themselves.
Let’s do some historical searching. It was primary season, 2020. Mayor Pete and Bernie Sanders dominated the early Democratic primaries. Sanders had momentum, he had his “Bernie Bros” and however extreme his positions, he spoke with conviction and force. Nobody ever accused Bernie Sanders of suffering from dementia, however extreme his positions are. The Democrats had a problem. Bernie Sanders might be their nominee. He might lose to Trump, but more importantly, he is now unpalatable to donors

I had resolved not to watch last Thursday night’s debate because I didn’t think it would change anything, and I was right to the extent that it didn’t change anything for me. I already knew President Crusty was a sundowning desiccated old weirdo. But it changed things for people who were on the fence or not paying attention. That’s not going to matter, though. Joe Biden is not going anywhere.
The fact is that Joe Biden is the nominee, and he will remain the nominee. By the next morning, the rallying and rationalization were in full effect. Obama tweeted about how it’s all going to be OK.

Let's be honest: Everyone has known for a long time now that Joe Biden is both physically frail and cognitively impaired. Biden's allies have merely thought they could deny it until after the election. Well, the debate made that impossible, and now there's a mad dash to do "something" about it. Calls for Biden to drop out are coming in strong from the left-wing media, and elected Democrats are freaking out privately.
How did this happen? How did we get to this point? Well, some Democratic Party insiders say that Joe Biden was set up to fail in a "soft coup" designed to oust him.

Washington and the media are surprisingly quiet today about the Biden drama. No doubt journalists are working the phones hard with their sources, but there seem to be no new breathless headlines or concrete news about Democrat “panic” or behind-closed-door machinations to force Slow Joe out of the race. Have leading Democrats thrown in the towel, and realized they can’t get rid of Biden? Or are Democratic insiders being unusually disciplined in not talking to the media while the wheels are turning? Watch the Sunday morning news shows for clues. That’s where Washington often talks to itself, and people float trial balloons or send authorized signals.

A subtle but important point from the email sent out by Biden’s deputy campaign manager I previously discussed.
"The bedwetting brigade is calling for Joe Biden to “drop out.” That is the best possible way for Donald Trump to win and us to lose.
First of all: Joe Biden is going to be the Democratic nominee, period. End of story. Voters voted. He won overwhelmingly. And if he were to drop out, it would lead to weeks of chaos, internal foodfighting, and a bunch of candidates who limp into a brutal floor fight at the convention, all while Donald Trump has time to speak to American voters uncontested.

Joe Biden got dog walked by Donald Trump on Thursday night. It was a drumming that, quite frankly, might be unrecoverable. It’s why Democrats everywhere are popping Paxil and chugging whisky to cope because they’re stuck. Sure, there’s talk about how to replace Biden, but that ship sailed months ago. Democrats are now stuck with an impossible situation because not even that little rally in North Carolina the following day, where Biden was livelier, can repair the damage that’s been done. In the aftermath, the Biden White House is leaking like a sieve, with aides chirping that the president is only functional during a six-hour window (via Axios):

Joe Biden only had to do one thing: prove he could debate Donald Trump without looking like someone who was about to take up residency at a nursing home. He failed miserably, which has led to panic among Democrats not seen since slavery was abolished. Of course, damage control is being done among the party’s upper crust, with endless statements attesting to their commitment to Mr. Biden as the nominee. They must—it’s a tacit acknowledgment that they can’t replace Biden on the ticket, which has become another topic of conversation. If there were a window, the pressure campaign we’re seeing now would be much more intense.

Mere days after his disastrous debate performance sent Democrats into a widespread panic, it is now being reported that Joe Biden plans to discuss the future of his re-election campaign with his family on Sunday.
According to a report from NBC News, Biden and First Lady Jill Biden are scheduled to meet their children and grandchildren at Camp David late Saturday. Allegedly, this trip was planned before the debate.
So far, the party’s top leaders have offered public support for Biden, including in tweets posted by former Presidents Barack Obama and Bill Clinton. Senior congressional Democrats,

I am dedicating this article to my lefty friends and loved ones. Yes, I still have some of those. I made a pledge to myself years ago that I wouldn't let politics destroy my relationships with good people with whom I have wonderful personal histories.
This pledge is getting harder and harder to keep. Thursday's debate has put it under the greatest stress test yet, and I'm not sure I can keep it much longer.
My lefty friends and I have been getting along for the past eight years by agreeing not to talk about politics. This was necessitated in 2016 when Donald Trump won, and so many people —

The disaster of Thursday night’s debate provided Americans with two giant revelations.
First, Joe Biden is mentally and physically failing and cannot remain president.
Second, and of greater long-term import, the media has been stripped bare as our most corrupt institution — and that is saying something.
The debate showed everyone what happens when the Democratic communications machine, formerly known as the media, is bypassed, and candidates can be seen clearly by the American people without the filters. The media has been lying — expect this word to come up a lot — to the American people on behalf of Biden and Democrats for years.
