Trump spokeswoman Karoline Leavitt was supposed to have an interview on CNN, but it was cut short because she told the truth about some of the network’s on-air talent. Host Kasie Hunt decided to pull the plug once Leavitt exposed the network’s overt anti-Trump bias. The segment focused on the upcoming debate between Joe Biden and former President Donald Trump this Thursday and how Trump prepares for the showdown. Leavitt delivered some jabs at Biden, touted Trump’s preparedness, and lashed out at the debate moderators, Jake Tapper and Dana Bash, which did not sit well with Hunt.

The so-called “conspiracy theorists” have put together an impressive winning streak and they’ve once again been proven right, this time about illegal aliens voting in the 2024 election. Republicans are very concerned about the impact of President Joe Biden’s “newcomers” on the upcoming election, the most critical in the nation’s history, and House Republicans have introduced an “election integrity” bill to require that proof of citizenship be required to register to vote. But despite denials and ridicule over GOP concerns that illegal aliens could vote, the truth is that nearly every state provides voter registration forms to non-citizens without proof of citizenship, according to the New York Post.

The Supreme Court will hear the Biden administration’s challenge to a Tennessee law banning gender-transition procedures for minors, inserting itself for the first time into the heated public debate surrounding the government’s role in protecting children from experimental procedures that come with lifelong medical consequences. The Supreme Court announced on Monday it will hear United States v. Skrmetti, a case brought by multiple transgender plaintiffs and their families against a Tennessee law prohibiting minors from receiving puberty blockers, hormone therapy, and invasive transgender surgical procedures.

CNN abruptly cut Trump campaign spokeswoman Karoline Leavitt from the air Monday morning — just days before the network is set to host the first presidential debate between her boss and President Joe Biden. Anchor Kasie Hunt pulled the plug just minutes after the interview got underway after asking Leavitt what former President Donald Trump’s strategy was for when he takes to the stage in Atlanta, Ga. on Thursday. “President Trump is well prepared ahead of Thursday’s debates. Unlike Joe Biden, he doesn’t have to hide away and have his advisors tell him what to say. President Trump knows what he wants to say,” Leavitt started.

No wonder why the Biden team departed so early to Camp David for debate preparation. The White House summoned all the top Democratic strategists and advisers to ready the president as best they could against former President Donald Trump. Before they could review any of their attack lines or soundbites touting this administration's little legislative record, they need to ensure Biden can stand for at least 90 minutes. That’s not a good thing for a president we’ve been told is vivacious, a night owl, and sharp as a tack: (X) Some in the media have already tried to make the point that these debates are unfair to Biden.

Happy Monday, dear Kruiser Morning Briefing friends. Those of us who have been hanging around the Republican Party for a long time are used to the fact that there's not a lot of fight there. Enter Donald Trump. In his previous presidential election battles, Donald Trump has come out swinging in places where he wasn't supposed to have a chance to fight. (Snip) Because he wanted to win the election. Trump's willingness to swing hard in traditionally blue states is what gives him a chance to beat the Democrats' Magic Mail-In Ballot Machine.

The first 2024 presidential debate is on the way, but already controversy has emerged over the television network that will conduct the presidential face-off and those selected to ask the questions. Some Americans, it turns out, aren’t exactly thrilled about CNN anchors serving as moderators for the debate, the latest I&I/TIPP Poll shows. The national online poll, taken from May 29-31, included 1,675 registered voters who were asked the following: “CNN will host the first general election presidential debate on June 27, 2024, moderated by Jake Tapper and Dana Bash. Did someone say “cheap fake”? The desperate Biden Campaign posted a side-by-side photo of President Trump’s Philly rally and doped up Joe Biden ‘speaking at the same venue.’ President Trump brought down the house in deep blue Philly this weekend. WATCH: (X Video) Meanwhile, Joe Biden is hiding at Camp David all doped up so his campaign is spreading “cheap fakes” to make it appear Joe Biden is popular (he’s not). “President Biden vs. Donald Trump speaking at the same venue in Philly,” the Biden camp said on X. Notice how the Biden campaign said Biden was just “speaking” at the venue. That’s because it was NOT a Biden rally.

He might have shot his mouth off during the Obama administration, which cost him his job, but Van Jones does have his moments of clarity. He’s another unabashed liberal who can give reasonable analyses on the political landscape much better than any clown at MSNBC. Again, I know that’s not challenging, but Jones has said the Russian collusion story was a nothing burger. What isn’t a ‘nothing burger’ is the Obama coalition collapsing before our eyes, much like Joe Biden’s mental health. At the Milken Institute’s Global Conference, Jones gave a damning assessment of the health of this coalition that was, by all intents and purposes, unbeatable at the time.

Morale is plummeting in the viper’s nest that passes for the Washington Post newsroom. Not because readers are deserting the paper in droves. Not because the newspaper lost $77 million last year. The oh-so-ethical journalists of the WaPo couldn’t care less about such trivialities. They’re too busy finding ways to cover up Joe Biden’s corruption or swallowing new Deep State lies about Donald Trump’s “existential threat to democracy.” They’re just upset that the paper’s owner, Amazon mogul Jeff Bezos, wants to stem the bleeding and has installed new management to carry out his wishes.

I would have never thought Snopes would be the one to drop an atomic bomb on liberal America like this—but here we are. One of the popular liberal myths about Donald Trump is the ‘both sides’ event after Charlottesville, where the media and Democrats for years have alleged Donald Trump was referring to the neo-Nazis that assembled during that Unite the Right rally, which left dozens injured and a woman dead after one white supremacist drove his car through a crowd of counter-protesters.

Joe Biden’s campaign planned to bury Donald Trump in an avalanche of cash. Instead, his allies are bracing for a slugfest without the benefit of a fatter wallet, as financial reports showed Trump outraising Biden in back-to-back months, hauling in huge sums after his 34 felony convictions and erasing Biden’s longstanding financial edge. Democrats in recent days largely downplayed Trump’s new financial lead in the same way Trump’s allies had when Biden was running ahead in the money race — saying the president would have enough money to compete. But privately, several Democratic strategists and donors were reeling.

Environmental/Social/Governance (ESG) investing is one of the most repellent fads of recent years. Happily, the Telegraph reports that a decisive turning point may have been reached: “How the ‘woke capitalist’ gravy train came to a juddering halt.” First, some history: While the acronym only rose to prominence in the City in the last five years, ESG has been around for far longer. The term was first coined in 2005 in a UN report called “Who Cares Wins”, which argued that companies where bosses behaved ethically would deliver better returns for shareholders. That could be true, although I can’t imagine how you could demonstrate it empirically.
