Washington Post’s editor drama only
exposes its lack of ‘ethics’ after
debasing Trump for years

Morale is plummeting in the viper’s nest that passes for the Washington Post newsroom. Not because readers are deserting the paper in droves. Not because the newspaper lost $77 million last year. The oh-so-ethical journalists of the WaPo couldn’t care less about such trivialities. They’re too busy finding ways to cover up Joe Biden’s corruption or swallowing new Deep State lies about Donald Trump’s “existential threat to democracy.” They’re just upset that the paper’s owner, Amazon mogul Jeff Bezos, wants to stem the bleeding and has installed new management to carry out his wishes.

For years I have wondered whether the power and influence gained by the Ochs-Sulzberger family's ownership of the New York Times was worth the money lost by that failing business. Obviously it was in their own eyes else they'd have righted that leftist rag decades ago. But Bezos seems to have finally awakened that maybe the influence is not worth the stain on his business reputation. Appointing a new publisher is window dressing. Bezos should clean house of all of them.

If Bezos had an honest bone in his body he would clean house of leftist lying reporters and replace them with real reporters looking for the truth. He could turn over a new page at the Post starting by listing the thousands of lies they have printed over the last say 10 years and apologizing to the American people. His readership and profits would soar overnight and his legacy might then include being the man who broke the monopoly of lying leftist reporting in thirds country.

Washington— Some of the 51 “Spies Who Lie” were active CIA contractors when they claimed files from first son Hunter Biden’s laptop had “the classic earmarks” of Russian disinformation ahead of the 2020 election — a fact that was uneasily noted inside the agency, records acquired by The Post show. Former CIA acting director Michael Morell, who previously told Congress he organized the Oct. 19, 2020, letter to give Joe Biden a “talking point” ahead of a debate against then-President Donald Trump, was under contract with the CIA at the time, the agency told Congress. Ex-agency inspector general David Buckley also was a contractor at the time of the letter,

Rep. Anna Paulina Luna (R-FL) will force a vote to hold Attorney General Merrick Garland in inherent contempt of Congress in a rarely used maneuver which she says will require a House vote Friday. Luna says Garland forced her hand after he brushed aside a previous contempt vote by the House after President Joe Biden’s loyal lieutenant refused to surrender evidence Republicans say would reveal Biden’s lack of fitness for office. “For Congress to legislate effectively, we must have access to the information that will enable us to make informed decisions,” Luna wrote in a letter to her colleagues Monday.

Abortion giant Planned Parenthood announced it is spending $40 million to prop up 81-year-old President Joe Biden and Democrats in key congressional races ahead of November, The Hill reported. The organization, which was founded by an infamous racist with ties to the eugenics movement, made the announcement on Monday to coincide with the second anniversary of the Supreme Court’s Dobbs decision. The Dobbs decision overturned the court’s 1973 Roe v. Wade decision — which had invented a constitutional right to abortion for 50 years — and returned the issue of abortion to individual states.

Republican Rep. Lauren Boebert comfortably won her Colorado primary on Tuesday night after switching districts and despite a slew of scandals. The Colorado congresswoman switched from her third district, where she barely etched out victory in 2022, to the the more reliably Republican fourth district after Rep. Ken Buck retired. After handily defeating five other Republicans, she is now comfortably positioned to win with a 13-point GOP advantage in November. Victory came after a rocky year of embarrassing scandals for the 37-year-old grandma.

Special Counsel Jack Smith’s team filed a response to President Trump’s motion to dismiss the classified documents case based on spoliation of evidence seized by agents during the 2022 raid of Mar-a-Lago. According to the new motion filed, the FBI turned off security cameras at Mar-a-Lago out of “concern for agent safety.” Biden’s FBI raided Mar-a-Lago in August 2022 and seized boxes of records from Trump’s Florida estate. Machine-gun-toting agents descended on Mar-a-Lago in August 2022 and by November Biden’s DOJ appointed a special counsel to investigate the documents stored at the Florida residence.

An increasingly desperate Emmanuel Macron has warned the public that “civil war” awaits France if they fail to vote for his brand of centrist neo-liberalism in the upcoming legislative elections. The embattled French leader, who’s party is trailing in third place in the snap elections he called, said that the “response of the extreme right” to France’s current problems would lead to insecurity

There’s no one else quite like Donald Trump. What other candidate in American history would start polling his audience, live, as Trump did this weekend in Philadelphia, on what his debate strategy against President Biden should be? “How should I handle him? Should I be tough and nasty?” Trump said, then took on a comically tough-guy voice. “Should I be tough and nasty and just say ‘you’re the worst president in history’?” The crowd roared. “Or should I be nice and calm . . .” Boos rained down. “. . . and let him speak?” Let no one accuse The Post of taking Trump literally but not figuratively.
