The Vatican’s Dicastery for the Doctrine of the Faith (DDF) has instigated an “extrajudicial penal trial” against Archbishop Carlo Maria Viganò, accusing the prelate of “the crime of schism.” [Snip] In response, Viganò defended himself stating: In the face of the Dicastery’s accusations, I claim, as Successor of the Apostles, to be in full communion with the Roman Catholic Apostolic Church, with the Magisterium of the Roman Pontiffs, and with the uninterrupted doctrinal, moral, and liturgical Tradition which they have faithfully preserved. No, #1, he is not. Archbishop Viagano follows the official doctrine of the Catholic Church, which is constant and not subject to the whims of a depraved culture. Jorge Bergolio is a spiteful and vengeful little man who has wreaked havoc on the Catholic Church, as he eliminates his enemies one by one.

I charge the Papacy and the College of Cardinals with heresy. They have abandoned the teaching of Christ and ignore the warnings in the writings of the Apostles. They are the very concept of false priests and Judas Priests. Christ said, there will be many who come to him saying, "Lord, Lord..." but I will say, "I know them, not..."

I left the Catholic Church for three years due to this pope, Catholic Charities abetting the illegal invaders and profiting from it and all of the covid idiocy. Cancelling Easter in 2020 was the last straw. This past January I went to confession and started attending mass again. A few weeks ago I left again after finding a very conservative Anglican parish which reminds me very much of the Catholic Church pre-Vatican II, complete with communion rail and the altar at the very front of the church where the priests have their backs to the congregation during the consecration. The Catholic Church has lost me forever - it’s a swamp no better than our congress.

I was baptized a Presbyterian so I really don't have have a dog in this hunt other than the fact that the persecution of Vigano diminishes all Christian believers. This is not the first time the Catholic Church has had a corrupt pope. Francis has nothing on the Borgia popes. Christ Himself warned us the Smoke of Satan would infiltrate His Church, but would not prevail. Yes, the Anglicans (bless their hearts) can be an attractive alternative for Catholics; they have all the outward "signs and trappings" of Catholicism but they are not "in Communion" with the Catholic Church because they allow divorce and they were founded by a king in schism. They do not have the Eucharist in the same manner as the Catholic Church. (Do they have any Eucharistic Miracles in existence?) Remember also that a human king began their church. He persecuted the Catholic Church by killing priests, destroying centuries old monasteries and convents, and driving their residents into the wilderness, making being a Catholic a crime for many centuries. While that may not be the case in the modern world, it is a history that modern Catholics should not forget. The Eucharist, the Body and Blood, Soul and Divinity of Jesus Christ is only found in the Roman Catholic Church in the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, and in those Orthodox churches in communion with her. It has never been an easy faith without conflict. Persecution of the faith began with our Master and the Apostles, the early Christians, schisms in the early centuries, through to the Protestant Reformation...yet the Roman Catholic Church and the Eucharist still stands as founded by Christ Himself. If Donald J. Trump survives his current judicial gauntlet and emerges as President again in 2025, he must work to re-establish the rule of law and the constitutional enforcement of it. [Snip] When the Constitution was adopted, several of its supporters felt there were not enough safeguards to protect citizens from the government. They insisted on a Bill of Rights which enumerated the liberties of the citizens and limited the reach of the government. Consider these restrictions on government abuse of citizens as you watch the legal system attempt to destroy Mr. Trump.

A Democrat political strategist is confirming what many believe is the biggest problem with Joe Biden's re-election campaign: Joe Biden. The president - a week ahead of the surprise first debate against Donald Trump - continues to struggle in the polls, often trailing nationally and in key swing states. What's worse for Biden is that the Democrat Senators defending their seats this November are running ahead of Biden and even handily leading their Republican opponent. However, in the same polls, the consistently gaffe-prone Biden is either barely leading or outright trailing his long-time rival.
