In April 2024, after being locked up since August 2023, J6er Julio Baquero found out that he had Stage 4 cancer and, fortunately, was granted compassionate release to go home and begin treatment.
Julio was serving an 18-month sentence for exercising his 1st Amendment Right and walking through the US Capitol with doors held open by US Capitol Police. He was non-violent and did no damage while he was in or around the building.
Unfortunately, on Father’s Day, June 16th, Julio succumbed to cancer. Julio came out of the gulags incredibly weak and wasn’t able to begin treatment immediately.

The Charter Revision Commission convened by Mayor Adams may have started as a politically motivated effort to fend off a City Council power grab — but on Monday, commissioners heard a reform proposal that could profoundly change Gotham politics for the better. The possible change sounds simple: giving nearly one million more registered voters the right to participate in primary elections. But its impact could be profound, offering New York City a way to take back local government from the hard left. Today, voters not registered to a major party are shut out of primaries, our most important local elections.

As the 2024 presidential election nears the corner, the Democrat Party is doing everything possible to try and fool voters that its 81-year-old geriatric commander-in-chief is mentally and physically fit enough to serve another four years. According to a Politico report, the White House has created an emergency “Taskforce” to mitigate the influence of videos that show President Joe Biden malfunctioning in public.
The report accused media tycoon and Fox News founder Rupert Murdoch of characterizing “the 81-year-old Biden as a senile, lost old man.” In response, the White House’s special task force will be ordered to combat “cheap fakes,” a term invented by the Biden Administration,

Independent Presidential candidate Robert F Kennedy Jr. will reportedly not make the debate stage next week with former President Donald Trump and President Joe Biden in Atlanta, Georgia.
The former Democrat will apparently fail to satisfy CNN’s stringent ballot access requirement by Thursday, the Washington Post reports. CNN noted in May that candidates must “appear on a sufficient number of state ballots to reach the 270 electoral vote threshold” necessary to win the White House to make the June 27 debate. The Post reports Kennedy is currently eligible for 100 electoral votes when considering states he is certified in and other states, like California and Hawaii,

The president had taken the podium in the White House’s East Room to announce new measures giving illegal immigrants living in the U.S. a pathway to citizenship.

He thanked Congress and Homeland Security Alejandro Mayorkas, but seemed to trail off when trying to remember Mayorkas’ name. "I’m not sure I’m going to be able to introduce you all the way," Biden said, eliciting laughter from the audience.

After the hoorays from waiters and other service workers died down, political analysts weighed in. Their conclusion: this is a very smart way to gain an edge in Nevada, where the presidential race is close. That’s certainly true. But Trump’s proposal is much smarter and will have a bigger impact, not because of its impact on tips, as such, but because of the larger signal it sends. That signal says to lower-income workers across the country, “I understand your struggles

The Supreme Court overturned a Trump era ban on bump stocks in a ruling last week.

Conventional wisdom suggests that the Supreme Court, like the country, is deeply divided along partisan and ideological lines.
But this overlooks the court’s historic recent run of unanimous decisions and the fact that the liberal and conservative justices often don’t vote as blocs.
Court critics tend to respond to these inconvenient realities by saying something like, “Sure, but on the big cases, the culturally divisive ones, the conservatives form the majority and the liberals the dissenting minority.”
This is obviously true sometimes: The Dobbs decision, which overturned Roe v. Wade, is a paradigmatic example.

The Democrats cannot win in November if the American public believes they’ve unethically weaponized the judiciary against their political opponents, which was why Hunter Biden’s conviction was – for the Left – a godsend: a sacrificial lamb miraculously trapped in a thornbush. It allowed Democrats to argue that the judiciary must be even-handed, apolitical, and totally fair. “See, we didn’t only target Trump. The President’s son wasn’t spared either!

BATON ROUGE, La. — Louisiana has become the first state to require that the Ten Commandments be displayed in every public school classroom under a bill signed into law by Republican Gov. Jeff Landry on Wednesday.
The GOP-drafted legislation mandates that a poster-sized display of the Ten Commandments in “large, easily readable font” be required in all public classrooms, from kindergarten to state-funded universities. Although the bill did not receive final approval from Landry, the time for gubernatorial action — to sign or veto the bill — has lapsed.
Opponents question the law’s constitutionality, warning that lawsuits are likely to follow.

Back in the last century (the 1990s), we “old-timers” in the armed forces wore uniforms of blue, green, khaki, or white slacks, skirts (for women only) and pressed shirts, complete with jackets and ties. The Gateway Pundit has extensively reported on unedited videos showcasing Joe Biden’s worsening dementia, including multiple notable ones in just the last few days.
The media and the Biden regime have responded by proclaiming such footage as “fake videos” doctored by conservative outlets. In the words of George Orwell, they are asking you to reject the evidence of your eyes and ears.
Now, some are also trying to suggest that President Trump, not Biden, is actually the one with mental problems. Brian Tyler Cohen, an MSNBC “News” contributor and podcast host of an ironically named show called “No Lie,” decided to gaslight America by sharing a photo yesterday

The EV retail market just lost another one of its marquee, OG play-yahs: Fisker. "Fisker filed for bankruptcy protection late on Monday, as the U.S. electric-vehicle maker looks to salvage its operations by selling assets and restructuring its debt after burning through cash in an attempt to ramp up production of its Ocean SUVs.
The hyper-competitive EV market has seen several companies, including Proterra, Lordstown and Electric Last Mile Solutions, file for bankruptcy in the past two years as they grappled with weakening demand, fundraising hurdles and operational challenges from global supply chain issues.

Most Biden supporters are not supporting President Joe Biden in the 2024 presidential election because they champion him and his leadership — rather, it is a vote “against” former President Donald Trump — a recent survey from the Economist/YouGov revealed.
The survey, which showed Trump leading Biden by two points among registered voters in a 2024 matchup including third-party candidates, asked Biden supporters, “Would you say you are mostly voting FOR Joe Biden or AGAINST Donald Trump?”

This is where we are right now as a country.
The Biden regime has sent two FBI agents to intimidate a nurse who exposed controversial practices at Texas Children’s Hospital.
Christopher Rufo recently shared on X, “The Biden Administration sent two FBI agents to intimidate a nurse who told the truth about the child sex-change program at Texas Children’s Hospital. The regime is mobilizing to threaten and imprison anyone who opposes ‘transgender medicine.’”
Writing for the City Journal, Rufo detailed the events that led to the FBI’s intimidating encounter with the nurse.

As the election season churns ahead, it is becoming more obvious the Democrats, and the campaign officials, are facing a mounting challenge. The reality is Joe Biden is diminishing before the eyes of America, and this leads to perplexing reactions from officials who need to explain away what is becoming more obvious. Over the past week, there have been multiple examples of Biden embodying the term doddering; his odd 10-second attempt at sitting down at the G7 Summit, Italy’s Giorgia Meloni needing to corral him during a gathering, and this weekend’s stage display where he froze up

Joe Biden is being encouraged to replace Kamala Harris with a blast from the past to aid his floundering chances at re-election.
Biden, who has struggled in the polls nationally and in key swing states, has left Democrats wondering if major change is needed to beat Donald Trump in November.
Questions and doubts exist over the health and ability to perform the job of Biden, at 81, the oldest president in American history. Harris - the first female and first black vice president in American history - has also struggled, with poll numbers saying a majority of Americans don't think she would be a good president.

On Tuesday’s broadcast of FNC’s “Special Report,” Sen. JD Vance (R-OH) weighed in on the possibility that presumptive Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump would ask him to be his running mate for the November election.
Vance said he had not been asked but suggested that if he were asked, he would say yes. “Could you imagine yourself behind the Resolute desk as president?” FNC host Bret Baier asked.“Well, look, Bret, I think that’s ultimately — that’s Donald Trump’s choice, whether he selects me as vice president,” Vance replied. “My attitude is there is a lot that needs to happen in the United States Senate. I like being a senator, Bret.

oe Biden on Tuesday announced mass amnesty for at least 500,000 illegal aliens (the number is likely much higher).
According to Trump advisor and America First Legal founder Stephen Miller, “Biden’s unconstitutional amnesty will give illegal aliens immediate green cards (making it easier to vote illegally) and a three-year path to citizenship (giving them full voting rights).”
“It also includes a diploma mill provision: leftists and opportunistic corporations can churn out meaningless diplomas and illegals who receive them will be made into citizens as well,” Stephen Miller said.
“Once citizens, illegals get chain migration. So all their relatives become citizens too,” he added.

So, this is all just kind of fun speculation, mind you. Brought on, of course, not by my twisted imagination - even I have my limits - but by a convergence of events and signs from the Heavens.
First, what was that rumble from the turgid bowels of the WaPo?
Was Taylor Lorenz hacking up another hairball?
Gads, no.
It's someone once mistaken for a respected columnist. And what she had to say was shocking in the extreme...but, oh, so tempting...
Democrats are wrestling with an age-old problem
Maybe Hillary Clinton could come to the rescue. DON'T PLAY WITH THEIR EMOTIONS THAT WAY
And then she does, logically and coldly setting up the scenario

There were congressional primaries in Virginia and Oklahoma on Tuesday, along with runoff elections for several Georgia House seats. Results are still coming in for some of the Virginia House seats, but in the Senate, Republican Hung Cao has won the primary and will face off against incumbent Democrat Senator Tim Kaine in November. Former President Trump endorsed Cao last month, writing on Truth Social, "A Combat Veteran and Highly Decorated Special Operations Officer, Hung Cao will be a tireless fighter to stop inflation, grow our Economy, secure our Border, strong support our incredible Military/Vets, and defend our always under siege Second Amendment."

Mere hours after it went viral that French courts had banned Israelis from the defense show Eurosatory, they have rescinded the ban. It's understandable, considering the shameful information about the ban that surfaced, but it's somewhat surprising to see someone actually backtrack their antisemitism. Let's be clear, though — France is no hero. There are obvious benefits for them in rescinding the ban. It was hardly a show without the 74 Israeli companies or affiliates that had been disinvited.
In fact, immediately after the ban garnered international attention, people started to call out the hypocrisy, considering Israeli technology was among some of the main attractions in the exhibition.
