Former Attorney General Eric Holder said Wednesday he is concerned that the Supreme Court will come to a “dangerous” conclusion on former President Trump’s claim of presidential immunity, partly because it has taken time for the justices to reveal their decision.
Trump has made the immunity claim on charges related to the federal cases he faces on storing classified documents at his Mar-a-Lago home in Florida and related to the 2020 election and the Jan. 6 riot at the Capitol.

I would make the argument that the pursuit of Trump over documents, that as President he has full and absolute control over, is EXACTLY the reason that Presidential immunity is called out in the Constitution. What we see is a federal bureaucracy being used to prosecute a president for essentially trivial acts. If a President were to be vulnerable to such legal games, he could be continually buried under harassing actions and make presidential action impossible. For a President to function, he MUST be immune to personal liability challenges from the Legislative or Judicial branches. The President's ACTIONS can be nullified when a court rules against him but he cannot be subject to criminal liability.
In fact, a STRONG SCOTUS decision is required to blow lawfare completely out of the water. The abuse of the legal system against a president should be strongly proscribed.

Based upon the questions asked by the more sane justices on the SC, I expect there is going to be some level of immunity granted. That being said, the Democrats must remember the Harry Reid Theorem. Whatever they can do to Trump when he is out of office, the Republicans can do to Biden or Obama when they are out of office.

The DoJ should just arrest the Supreme Court for making decisions the left doesn't like.
Make up some charges, pack a friendly jury with a friendly judge. Democracy saved!

There is an exception to every rule, as they say. Lincoln suspended habeas corpus for the length of the civil war. Unlike a Biden edict, there was an act of Congress authorizing it.

The ruination of our country has corelated to the consolidation of power in the executive branch. Laws and law making in congress migrated to "regulations" made in and administered by agencies controlled by the executive branch. The federal government takes our tax dollars and doles them back out to the states in accordance to compliance with the iron will of leftist Washington. The judicial branch has become a commune for partisan political hacks. And if the supreme court dares not cave to that same leftist will it must be torn down.
There's a reason they fear Trump becoming a dictator. They have been shifting dictatorial power to the presidency which is why they have gone to such extremes to hold on to that position and unconstitutional power.

Should the Supreme Court rule in President Trump's favor then then I will be among the first to predict that Eric "the Red" Holder will be first to CLAIM that same privilege for his ACTUAL Federal crimes as Obama's AG. His criminal act of "Fast and Furious" comes to mind.
