Gen Z voters are growing increasingly concerned about President Biden's mental fitness and "retiree" lifestyle as his approval rating slips to an all-time low in a national poll ahead of the 2024 election. "I don't mean to rag on the president of the United States, but honestly, he's acting like a retiree," Kale Ogunbor, a Republican Gen Z voter, told "Fox & Friends First" Wednesday. "It's been reported that over 40% of Joe Biden's presidency has been spent on vacation. And I think a lot of Americans, including Gen Z, don't want a president who seems more like he's retired the next four years after 2024."

ILION, N.Y.—In the village of Ilion, New York, 80 miles west of the state capital in Albany, residents are mourning the departure of gunmaker Remington Arms Co. after two centuries of continuous operation.
Without fanfare, the company announced last month that the manufacturing plant would be closing its doors on March 4, 2024.
"I feel like a family member has died," Ilion Mayor John Stephens told The Epoch Times. "My dad raised four kids on a paycheck from there for 37 years. He walked to work and carried his lunch every day."
Mr. Stephens said no one expected the announcement a week after Thanksgiving that the plant was set to close.

Christmas road trips this weekend might be challenging for those who are driving an electric vehicle (EV) an extended distance for the first time.
While EVs are popular with certain groups even as they’ve been largely panned by the general population, inexperienced EV drivers could face some unwanted travel surprises this holiday season if they hit the road unprepared, Axios notes in a recent report.
Nearly 104 million people are expected to drive at least 50 miles from their homes between December 23 and January 1, which is a little more than last year’s holiday season, according to the American Automobile Association (AAA).

As the story is told, the “republicans” have the lowest amount of reserve cash on hand in the past seven years. However, as readers here are well aware, it’s not the republicans that are “running out of money,” it is the RNC Corporation that is running low on funds. These are two distinctly different things.
In the era of the great political awakening, the term “uniparty” has now become a well-known in conservative lexicon to describe our national political situation. The RNC and DNC are two private corporations that form each wing of the Uniparty vulture.

As inflation-battered Americans are crushed by “Bidenomics” this Christmas, the geriatric Democrat was playing Santa Claus, asking if a child would like to sit on his lap in a creepy video that’s making the rounds on social media.
On Friday, President Joe Biden and first lady Jill Biden dropped by the Children’s National Hospital in Washington, D.C. to deliver holiday cheer to the young patients and their families, an annual tradition.
While Mrs. Biden read “‘Twas the Night Before Christmas” to the kids,

The decision this week by the Colorado Supreme Court (by a 4-3 vote) to remove Donald Trump from the state’s ballot is a decided loss for democracy, arguably a worse loss for Democrats, and ultimately a win for Donald Trump — for several reasons.
First and foremost, and most obviously, in the Republican primary, Trump’s argument has been that democracy has been undermined by the various investigations that he has faced and is currently facing. Now, before any of the major Trump cases — including the one related to his actions on Jan. 6, 2021, which was the reason Colorado ruled he was ineligible for the ballot — have concluded

The Harvard Crimson has refused to publish a letter I wrote critical of president Claudine Gay’s testimony in Congress.
The paper published an article Dec. 12 by law Professor Charles Fried providing a legalistic defense of her claim that those who call for genocide against Jews cannot be disciplined without considering “the context.” Here’s my response:
The problem with Charles Fried’s defense of President Gay’s “Context matters” statement is he fails to acknowledge that for Gay, context apparently matters only for genocidal threats against Jews.

Fireball Whisky heard of Florence “Flo” Hackman, a resident of Traditions of Deerfield assisted living community in Loveland, turning 105 on December 16 because she is one of its biggest fans, reports Fox News.
Hackman may be elderly, but she is a woman still full of life and energy. According to caretakers at the facility, she drinks a bit of Fireball’s cinnamon-flavored whisky every day.
Learning of her great appreciation for the drink, the company sent her the shooters as a birthday present. [Tweet]

There were plenty of MAGA moments during the third year of Joe Biden’s presidency, despite Democrats and Never Trumpers continually putting former President Donald Trump on defense.
Here are some of Trump’s top MAGA moments of 2023.
1. Mugshot
Trump released what is now perhaps the most famous mugshot in American history after his 13-count arraignment at the Fulton County Jail. Trump took it a step further as well, posting the mugshot on X, formally known as Twitter, for the first time since being banished then reinstated under Elon Musk. [Tweet]
The mugshot was an instant viral classic and remains the last thing his account has posted on X.

A new bill was introduced in the United States Congress on Friday to ensure the integrity of presidential ballots.
The Presidential Ballot Integrity Act, introduced by Mr. Higgins of Louisiana, seeks to amend Title 3 of the United States Code, specifically the Electoral Count Act of 1887.
The Electoral Count Act of 1887, or ECA, is a significant United States federal law that introduced procedures specified in the Constitution of the United States for the counting of electoral votes and resolution of related disputes. The ECA details the process by which the Senate and House of Representatives count electoral votes to confirm the election results for President and Vice President.

Republican presidential candidate Chris Christie will not appear on the ballot for Maine’s presidential primary, following a judge’s affirmation of an earlier decision. Despite efforts to overturn a ruling by the Maine Secretary of State, Christie’s appeal was rejected, solidifying his absence from the crucial ballot.
The former New Jersey Governor’s campaign faced a significant setback when the Maine Supreme Judicial Court upheld the Secretary of State’s decision, stating that the candidate failed to meet the necessary requirements for ballot inclusion.
The Gateway Pundit previously reported that Christie will not be listed on the Maine primary election ballot due to his failure to secure the required number of in-state petition signatures.

Two thousand years ago, a carpenter lived a conventional life for 30 years in a tiny village in the Middle East. Then something got into him. He became, as they might say today, “radicalized” for the last three years of his short life.
Historians agree that Jesus did exist. There are reliable ancient records of him. But most of what we know are opaque and contradictory accounts written decades after his death in what we now call the Gospel of the New Testament.
In one sense, those Gospel accounts are profoundly simple. They say Jesus was the Messiah prophesized in the Hebrew Bible.

He was hearing voices and threatened to attack a local National Guard base at nearby Saco. He was reportedly a 20-year Army veteran and a trained firearms instructor. The report claimed that Biden warned that a pre-emptive strike on Hezbollah "could spark a wider regional war." According to WSJ, Israel had intelligence that Hezbollah terrorists were preparing to cross the border as part of a multipronged attack, but the US deemed Israel's intelligence "unreliable." Warplanes in the air awaiting orders were called off their task, WSJ claimed, quoting "people familiar with the call," due to Biden's pressure.

When conflicts in the Middle East exposed the cracks in the foundation of the United States’ higher learning institutions, many college presidents tried to appeal to American democratic values to seal the gaps. Harvard’s commitment to its own way of thinking was on full display during President Claudine Gay’s abominable December 5th congressional testimony concerning campus anti-Semitism, subsequent revelations alleging her plagiarism in various publications (the current tally is about 40) including her dissertation, and the university leadership’s response. After President Gay equivocated on Harvard’s response to anti-Semitism on its campus, the university’s governing body unanimously rushed to support her. Andrew Cuomo is officially waiting (very quietly) in the wings, Page Six hears.
Insiders tell us that the former governor — who has been quietly polling on his chances of being elected mayor of New York City in the event the troubled Eric Adams craps out — is “leaning towards” a run at City Hall.
Adams is not only facing historically low approval ratings, but his office is also under investigation for its ties to the Turkish government.
Now we hear Cuomo — who himself resigned in 2021, after a string of sexual harassment allegations against him (which he has consistently denied) — is ready to run should the opportunity present itself.

For decades, American voters have shown more sympathy for Israelis than Palestinians, and these attitudes have been consistent across party affiliation and age range. But that seems to be changing.

Tucker Carlson — swinging for the fences these days, apparently in the midst of some mid-career crisis, released from the confines of corporate state media after many long decades adjacent to, if not a bona fide member of, the establishment — had some fighting words for online DeSantis supporters.Via Yahoo! News:
Tucker Carlson has ripped in to Ron DeSantis’ presidential campaign team as the “nastiest, stupidest” political operation he has ever seen.
Mr Carlson also blamed the Florida Governor’s flip-flop on opposition to Ukraine funding after being pressured by top GOP donor Ken Griffin during a live debate with podcaster Tim Pool at

Louisiana's outgoing governor has pardoned 40 convicted murders in the final three months of his rule in a bid to end the state's unwelcome reputation as the most incarcerated in the nation.
John Bel Edwards, the only Democrat governor in the South, will leave office on January 8, after serving the maximum of two four-year terms.
The 57-year-old lawyer has made reducing Louisiana's prison population a priority. Per capita, Louisiana locks up more people than any other democracy on earth, with 1,094 people per 100,000 behind bars, according to the Prison Policy Initiative. By comparison, the U.S. as a whole locks up 664 per 100,000; the U.K only 129.

I wish, oh how I wish I could tell you that the headline is a joke. It almost has to be a joke, right? No sane country would accept an arrest warrant as a form of ID, right? Well, this is no longer a sane country. But you probably already know that by now. But no one, even in an opium-induced fever dream, would think that the TSA would accept an arrest warrant as a form of legal ID. But it apparently does, and I think at this point, any doubts that the inmates have taken over the asylum or that there is a cabal so dedicated to left-wing ideology

Chicago residents are desperately suffering from President Joe Biden's immigration policies that have caused cities to use all of their resources on illegal aliens rather than on their own residents. This week, a prominent Black activist gave a passionate speech during an all-Democrat city council meeting, calling on officials to handle immediately hand the immigrant crisis by "sending them all back."
George Blakemore condemned Biden's unwillingness to secure the border, urging former President Trump to "come in here and clean up this mess" as some of the poorest neighborhoods suffer from a lack of funding and city services due to the migrant crisis.

On Friday, the leading contender for the 2024 Republican presidential nomination, former President Donald Trump, sat down for an interview with syndicated radio host Hugh Hewitt. (Disclosure: RedState and Hewitt's radio program are both owned by Salem Media.)In the "Hugh Hewitt Show" interview, Trump talks about a cornucopia of topics, not only about the 2024 campaign and the broader subject of U.S. elections and insurrection, but recent attempts by Democrats and the legacy media to smear Trump as an acolyte of Adoph Hitler. And Trump teased about the possible situation that would push him to attend a GOP presidential primary debate.

President Joe Biden ends 2023 with his polling numbers still in the doldrums — worse than any other president at the same stage of their first term — as he prepares for an election next year with voters still worrying about the state of the economy.
And that is despite his overall approval rating ticking up slightly.
The latest tracking number from Gallup, published Friday, puts Biden's job approval rating at 39 percent, up two points from lows in October and November. That is worse than the last seven presidents in history as they came to the end of their third year in power.
Barack Obama was at 43 percent and

Former President Donald Trump has been asking allies and advisers for their thoughts about Nikki Haley as a potential vice presidential candidate, two sources familiar with the conversations tell CBS News.
The feedback from the MAGA crowd regarding putting Haley on the ticket if Trump wins the GOP nomination has been overwhelmingly negative, according to these GOP sources. Politico first reported that Trump allies are working to quash the possibility of a Trump-Haley ticket.
The former South Carolina governor has been gaining ground in recent polls, and a top Trump adviser tells CBS News one internal prediction is Haley might be a close third in Iowa to DeSantis, or
