I wish, oh how I wish I could tell you that the headline is a joke. It almost has to be a joke, right? No sane country would accept an arrest warrant as a form of ID, right? Well, this is no longer a sane country. But you probably already know that by now. But no one, even in an opium-induced fever dream, would think that the TSA would accept an arrest warrant as a form of legal ID. But it apparently does, and I think at this point, any doubts that the inmates have taken over the asylum or that there is a cabal so dedicated to left-wing ideology

And the left is the first to say "suppression" when voter ID's are suggested, and yet apparently they aren't against "ID's" at all. Who woulda thunk it?

Someone with an arrest Warren shouldn't be allowed on a plane, unless in cuffs and accompanied by an armed, federal marshal.

"What could possibly go wrong?" /s
I can still recall how I felt, shortly after 9-11, as I experienced air travel under the newly formed, "TSA," only to look up and see a female Muslim in TSA uniform, and hajib, barking orders to travelers. I thought; Wow, so, let me get this straight, a gaggle of Saudi foreigners, who just happened to all be devout muslims, trained at our flight schools to fly Boeing airliners in "take-off only phase," who then commandeered aircraft for use as cruise missiles against iconic American "targets," but now we're supposed to hire the same religious fanatics to oversee our airport security? I guess we're supposed to use the devastating carnage still smoldering in American cities as our "opportunity" to show the world just how "compassionate"' and 'trusting" we are toward the muslim world by hiring them to oversee our airport security. Total insanity. This would be like FDR putting Japanese immigrants, who were loyal to the Emperor, in charge of the U.S. Coast Guard after the Pearl Harbor attack.
When security becomes a political chess piece, you're doomed to suffer the consequences.

Isn't Buttigieg Transportation Secretary? This must be happening under his watch, so doesn't he have control of this? If he does, why doesn't he stop it? If he doesn't, who does?

Why is anyone surprised? The TSA exam has a question that asks, " Have you ever been convicted of murder?" What's a little arrest warrant compared to that?

I'm with Poster #5. Flying for Thanksgiving in 2001 was like being in a Turkish prison. Baggage opened multiple times at layovers, Goons with metal detector batons taking our personal property away to 'inspect' it. (that's a whole other story).
I'll never see the TSA as anything but eyewash to restore the airline industry with a jobs program for otherwise unemployable throw-backs.

I flew with rifles in a gun case two months after 911. I everyone in line at TSA were saying he'll never get the box on the plane. I didn't say a word listening to everyone. On the plane it went. I figured it would since I'd flown two weeks before with the box. My suitcase was really a problem since the sensers picked up gunpowder. I made it, though. Same thing the next summer only on the outgoing leg in Lexington KY my daughter and I got to go in back with the conveyors shuffling the luggage every which way. My daughter was five or six. She watched the activity in amazement.....I had a very difficult surgery on a shoulder and was in no mood to go through random security at the gate. I stayed in the crowd watching hoping I could rush the gate at the last minute. So, sitting there I watched a TSA guy making an absolutely beautiful woman being dragged through as many contortions as he could dream up. I bet he spent ten minutes with her. It was sickening (and fun to watch)

People who accept and push the notion that America is over, while not lying dead and moldering on a battlefield, are cowards. TSA began under the Dept. of Transportation in late 2001, under democrat Secretary Norm Mineta, who as a former Japanese-American detainee during WWII, hamstrung TSA from its inception, but was folded into the new DHS when it was created in 2003. Mayorkas is over TSA, like he is Customs and Border Patrol, so why act surprised at this latest move by TSA? Changing presidents in 2024 is far better and less messy than civil war; however, a bloody hair, teeth, and eyeball civil war is better than simply surrendering to the totalitarians.
