A private university professor has resigned after saying she would be “tempted to shoot up” dance parties like Hamas terrorists did on Oct. 7 — later whining about being a victim because horrified school officials did not defend her. Wake Forest University Professor Laura Mullen sparked outrage with a since-deleted social media post just days after Hamas’ surprise attack killed around 1,200 people, including hundreds at the Supernova Music Festival.

Teach has "that look", emphasized by a slightly low angle portrait highlighting her imperious nature. People like her are easy to spot, steer clear.

“They kind of threw me to the wolves...” She implies that the rest of the University faculty/administration actually agree with her but toss her out to save themselves. She probably knows what she's talking about. Academia today appear to be a cesspool of sanctimonious, self-serving bigots.

When will NYC do something about the ‘staggering’

Eric Adams ran for office on a public-safety platform two years ago. His crime record is mixed, but public safety isn’t just crime: E-bike and e-scooter battery-fire deaths are reaching “staggering” levels, his fire commissioner says. So it’s not good the unrelated corruption suspicions swirling around the mayor involve . . . pressuring the FDNY to ignore safety rules, rules that inconvenienced donors and their friends. The familiar story unfolded again last week: A powerful fire obliterated a Brooklyn brownstone.

If it weren’t taken for granted by now that everything that comes out of the Biden administration is a colossal screwup, it would be shocking that anyone shaping foreign policy for the White House is still employed there. National security adviser Jake Sullivan’s embarrassing, 7,000-word drivel in Foreign Affairs magazine should leave no doubt. “The Middle East is quieter than it has been in decades,” read his piece — which went to press just days before Hamas’ savage attack on innocent Israelis.

Remember when Sen. Rand Paul accused Dr. Anthony Fauci of funding China’s Wuhan virus lab? Fauci replied, “Sen. Paul, you do not know what you’re talking about.” The media loved it. Vanity Fair smirked, “Fauci Once Again Forced to Basically Call Rand Paul a Sniveling Moron.” But in 2021 the magazine changed its tune, admitting, “In Major Shift, NIH Admits Funding Risky Virus Research in Wuhan . . . Paul might have been onto something.”

Last month, at a small church in East Oakland, Calif., hundreds of fed-up city residents gathered outside of a community safety meeting held by Mayor Sheng Thao and District Attorney Pamela Price. The group was as diverse as it was united, and despite the reduction in their quality of life over the past year, there was a palpable energy of hope. Seneca Scott, a community leader, hosted the get-together under the banner of his Neighbors Together Oakland (NTO) organization.

The MTA’s rollout of its multibillion-dollar fleet of new subway cars has gone off-track. The agency confirmed this week it was pulling six of the seven ballyhooed R211 rail cars out of service due to equipment problems — just months after the high-tech trains were unveiled. The shiny new subway cars — which feature wider doors, security cameras and digital displays — had issues including leaky gearboxes that can cause a train’s wheels to lock up and drag along the rails. A video posted online shows one of the new trains apparently affected by the mechanical issue loudly clanging its way through the Nostrand Avenue station on Oct. 21.

The massive bronze sculpture of Confederate Gen. Robert E. Lee in Charlottesville, Virginia, has been melted down and will be transformed into a new piece of public art. The statue was at the center of a 2017 controversy in which local governments in Virginia wanted to remove Confederate monuments including Lee's. In August 2017, a white supremacist rally in connection to the proposed removal resulted in the three people dying and multiple injuries.

Comer previously revealed the discovery of $200,000 check that James Biden made to Joe Biden in 2018 linked to the failing healthcare firm Americore. The White House has claimed that James was repaying a loan to his brother, though Comer has expressed skepticism of that story.

On Nov. 22, 1963, we lost not only a popular young president, but we also lost our national innocence. We lost our trust in government. Once lost, it has not returned and never will. The rifle shots fired at the president’s motorcade changed my own life as I watched TV coverage of my bloodied "friend" Lee Harvey Oswald dragged into the Dallas Police Station. When the Secret Service knocked on my door the morning after the assassination, they came for me as someone identified as a "known associate" of the presumed JFK assassin. My involvement with Lee and Marina Oswald began in June 1962.

Two passengers are reported dead after a vehicle exploded near the Rainbow Bridge border crossing separating the United States from Canada. A border agent was also reportedly injured in the attack. Sources told Reuters that it is now likely believed that the blast was the result of reckless driving, contrary to earlier assessments of a terrorist attack initially reported by Fox News.

On Wednesday, the House Ethics Committee voted against opening an investigation or a report into Rep. Jamaal Bowman (D-NY), who, on September 30, pulled the fire alarm while the House was voting to avert a government shutdown. Doing so is a violation of the DC code, and Bowman was charged by the DC Attorney General and pled guilty last month. The Department of Justice (DOJ) declined to charge Bowman for "obstructing an official proceeding," despite how the congressman pulling the fire alarm when there was no such emergency disrupted the vote.

Joe Biden has always been Johnny-on-the-spot whenever a radical leftist has gotten elected in Latin America. But for Argentina's new president, elected by a ten-point-plus margin? Crickets. He's said nothing at all to Javier Milei, Argentina's first libertarian president, on his quite truly historic victory in an undoubtedly free and fair election, with 30 million hand-counted ballots, their validity approved by both parties and delivered on election night, that made Milei president. He could have congratuated just the election if he couldn't stand Milei, which we know he can't as a fair-minded formality, but of course, he didn't. NBC News interviewed Shapiro for a story published Wednesday and asked him to explain Trump’s polling lead against Biden. Shapiro attributed Trump’s lead to “brain fog” from voters, and he expects it to clear up ahead of the 2024 presidential election.“I’m not sure folks remember just how chaotic it was, how divisive it was, how he was just in your face in your living room every day,” Shapiro told NBC News. “I don’t think people want to go back to that.”
