STUTTGART, Germany — Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth on Monday while on a C-17 aircraft en route to Germany signed a memorandum renaming “Fort Liberty” back to “Fort Bragg” — the original name of the storied military base in North Carolina.
In a short video posted on X of him signing the memo, he said, “There it is. Pursuant to the authority of the Secretary of Defense, Title 10, United States Code § 113, I direct the Army to change the name of Fort Liberty, North Carolina, to Fort Bragg, North Carolina. President Donald Trump on Monday imposed 25% tariffs on all steel and aluminum imports to the United States.
“This is a big deal," Trump said while signing the proclamations in the Oval Office. "The beginning of making America rich again." The proclamations impose a 25% tariff on steel imports on all countries, and raise his 2018 aluminum tariffs from 10% to 25%, without exceptions or exemptions.
The tariffs come just a week after Trump promised to suspend tariffs on Canada and Mexico. They echo steel and aluminum tariffs Trump imposed during his first administration, though at that point those were imposed explicitly on national security grounds.
Days after turning heads by vowing to get rid of the board members of the Kennedy Center and name himself chairman, President Donald Trump announced Monday that he would be naming Ric Grenell the new interim Executive Director of the Center. The FBI has uncovered thousands of records connected to the assassination of former President John F. Kennedy as a result of President Donald Trump’s executive order to release the files.
Axios first reported that the FBI released 2,400 records tied to the Nov. 22, 1963, assassination of Kennedy, which were not provided to the board that reviewed and disclosed the files.
When the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI) submitted its plan to release the JFK files, it reportedly disclosed the existence of the records.
Fox News has confirmed with a person familiar with the records that the files were uncovered during the review.

Acting Deputy Attorney General Emil Bove on Monday sent a memo instructing prosecutors in the Southern District of New York to abandon the charges.

The Democratic Party is polling about 31 percent approval, a near-historic low.
Despite enjoying a huge lead in fundraising, legacy media favoritism, and incumbency, in the 2024 election, Democrats lost the White House to Donald Trump. Ever since, they have offered nothing new, no novel agenda, no innovative policies—nothing other than screaming that they are loudly against everything and anything that the president is for.

According to Musk, sending this money to these high-end hotels violated the law. This directly interferes with President Trump’s executive order.
And why is FEMA paying for illegal alien housing when they ignore Americans suffering and living in tents in places like North Carolina?
FEMA funds are meant for American disaster relief and not to fund Joe Biden’s invasion.
