The Department of Education on Tuesday urged the National Collegiate Athletic Association and a counterpart organization overseeing high school sports to restore to female athletes various records, titles, awards, and recognitions that were stolen by men during the Biden administration.
The Education Department’s general counsel sent a letter to the NCAA and the National Federation of State High School Associations asking them to “strip” the accolades “wrongfully credited to the biological males who unfairly competed against girls and women in The department said the request is “entirely consistent” with the NCAA’s policy change barring men from competing in women’s sports.athletics,” according to a press release.

PROVIDENCE, R.I. — State leaders gathered Tuesday afternoon to push for an assault weapons ban in Rhode Island.
Gun violence advocates highlighted tragedies like Parkland and Sandy Hook in their push for the ban.
Governor Dan McKee said he was trying to push it through as part of the state budget this time, even as legislators bring it up the traditional way again in the General Assembly.
“We were all elected to govern, and the number one job of elected officials in the United States of America is to provide for public safety,” Rep. Jason Knight (D-Dist. 67 Barrington, Warren) said.
“Whatever else we’re here to do, that’s job one, we’re here to protect,”

DOGE has Democrats absolutely terrified, as well it should, for reasons enumerated many times on this website. DOGE has uncovered the biggest money laundering operation in human history, and he is just getting started. Aside from filing lawsuits and restraining orders, most of which will be delaying tactics instead of killer shots, the best they can do is throw as much * against the wall and hope some of it sticks. That, and call for violence, as many of the more radical Democrats have done. Most of the * that has been thrown has been aimed at Elon Musk and Big Balls, and since nobody cares about

Vice President JD Vance will meet with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky on Friday at the Munich Security Conference, a source familiar with the matter confirms to National Review.
The high-profile meeting comes amid the White House’s continuing efforts to negotiate an end to the country’s three-year war with Russia and will take place days after Vance made his international debut in a speech Tuesday before the Global AI Action Summit in Paris, co-hosted by France and India.
“The United States of America is the leader in AI, and our administration plans to keep that,” Vance said in his remarks, which also urged world leaders against overregulation and political bias

Say, remember when people kept telling conservatives that the culture war had already been lost? Good times, good times.
In yet another advance for equality over "equity," another corporate giant has hit reverse on so-called "Diversity Equity Inclusion" policies. Goldman Sachs, perhaps one of the most politically connected firms in the US, told Bloomberg News that it would abandon its previous policy demanding "board diversity" for initial public offerings (IPOs):
Goldman Sachs Group Inc. is abandoning a significant pledge it made to refuse initial public offering business with companies that had all White, male boards.
Wall Street’s leading investment bank had a policy that it would only take a company public

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has publicly suggested for the first time that Kyiv will give up its battlefield gains in Russia’s Kursk region in exchange for concessions from the Kremlin.
“We will swap one territory for another,” the 47-year-old told the Guardian in an interview published Tuesday.
“I don’t know, we will see. But all our territories are important, there is no priority.” The Ukrainian president has previously suggested that the “hot stage” of the almost three-year-old war could end if Ukraine becomes a NATO member or regains nuclear arms — even if Kyiv doesn’t regain all of its territories.

"Democrats in Disarray" has the sound of a handy media meme, somewhat akin to "Republicans in Retreat," and perhaps just as reliable. Mainstream media outlets used the latter quite a bit in 2009 and 2010, just before Republicans scored their biggest midterm win in a century and reset state-level legislatures for a generation. Beware the meme, dudes.
In this case, though, the Wall Street Journal could be on more solid ground with the former. Today, the WSJ argues that not only are Democrats clearly not connecting with voters, they aren't even connecting much with each other. Failure in this case has a thousand fathers, contra to conventional

Following Democratic talking points going out is like cleaning a grease splatter off the stove. There's always a single origin and then an inevitable, clearly defined spread pattern that tells you you have identified their weekly chosen term for demonization.
It has to be snappy and short. Much like the children with their drums, chants, and hundreds of thousands of dollars in student loan debts do every time they highlight their first-class university educations by banging away and following their designated super genius, leading them in some version of:

MSNBC legal analyst Danny Cevallos said Tuesday on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” that President Donald Trump’s actions have not caused a “constitutional crisis.”
Cevallos said, “I think we need to be careful with the term constitutional crisis because, as I define it, that would be a situation where the constitution doesn’t have an answer and there is a pressing conflict. The flurry of executive orders, the chaos, that I think doesn’t get us to crisis yet. It is irritating for the courts, it is challenging. It could lead to a serious problem if, as you said, they become too congested with dealing with these orders.”
He continued, “The crisis occurs

Democrats are prepared to shut down the federal government during next month’s spending fight after becoming enraged over the Department of Government Efficiency’s (DOGE) financial audit of government spending.
The Democrats’ tactic puts them into a precarious position of supporting waste, fraud, and abuse, three items DOGE is tasked with cutting.
“I cannot support efforts that will continue this lawlessness that we’re seeing when it comes to this administration’s actions,” Sen. Andy Kim (D-NJ) said Sunday on NBC’s “Meet the Press.” “And for us to be able to support government funding in that way only for them to turn it around, to dismantle the government.

The Walt Disney Company will be reportedly dropping two Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) programs due to pressure from investors.
According to the conglomerate’s latest SEC filing, Disney will be dropping its “Reimagine Tomorrow” program from its 2024 SEC 10-K report’s DEI section.
“The program was mentioned in the 2023 report, which defines the program as ‘the Company’s digital destination for amplifying underrepresented voices and features some of Disney’s DE&I commitments and actions,'” noted Fox Business.

FIRST ON FOX: More than 680,000 law enforcement personnel have urged the Senate to confirm President Donald Trump's FBI director nominee, Kash Patel, as quickly as possible – a show of support that comes as Democrats on the panel have moved to delay his confirmation ahead of a planned vote this Thursday. The total number of supporters from law enforcement agencies was shared exclusively with Fox News Digital, and includes state, local and federal backers from groups including the National Sheriffs’ Association, the National Police Association and more than 370,00 members of the national Fraternal Order of Police, which announced their support for Patel Monday
