How To Commit Democratic Party Suicide

Original Article

The Democratic Party is polling about 31 percent approval, a near-historic low. Despite enjoying a huge lead in fundraising, legacy media favoritism, and incumbency, in the 2024 election, Democrats lost the White House to Donald Trump. Ever since, they have offered nothing new, no novel agenda, no innovative policies—nothing other than screaming that they are loudly against everything and anything that the president is for. In the past, what did they accomplish by following their prior two impeachments with attempts to de-ballot Trump?

Trying to defend the hideous wastes of money that USAID represents is not going to be popular. How many people think that US taxpayers funding Iraqi Sesame Street or homosexuals in Uganda is a good thing? Then you get to the real Deep State stuff where some Senators form an NGO and get money from USAID....to line their pockets. Not popular.

Elon should try to correlate all this USAID spending and contributions to the DNC. That would seal the deal on the next election.

Very complete, excellent summary of the Dem’s self inflicted problems. I hope they are not paying attention and actually adopt some of the author’s remedies

Actually, #4; If they did move back to the center, we shouldn’t trust them anyway. They have already shown their true colors, and that cannot be changed.

Well the leftist and progressive congressional Democrats still have their “big mouths” to fraudulently accuse the Trump crew, and the wimpy congressional Republicans through so-called “projection” tactics of perpetuating the corrupt practices that are actually part of the leftist and progressive Democrat political agenda. On top of that, the leftist and progressive Democrats still have their extreme left wing Federal District Judges who they nominated and confirmed, and who look happy to attempt to sabotage Trump’s political agenda by continuing to use Democrat “law-fare” legal tactics to at least attempt slow down Trump’s promises that he has obviously been trying to keep to benefit the American public.

Au contraire, #1: I've been monitoring the MSM this week. None have mentioned the ridiculous waste of money by USAID. All they talk about is starving children in Africa and Gaza. They say that ships loaded with grain and other food on their way will be unable to unload at their destinations because USAID union employees are being suspended and no one will be able to offload the food and grain sacks full of food. They then blame Trump for the starvation of children. Dems don't read the online news and opinion that we do. Even if they did, they'd claim it was all lies. Thankfully, there is gradual change because word of dem politicians' perfidy has begun to leak out here and there.

FT. WAYNE, Ind. — Sitting here at the bar/restaurant at the Ft. Wayne Hilton, a nice Midwest hotel located across the street from the gorgeous Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, I was forced to do something I don’t usually do. Watch CNN. Some rogue from hotel management decided to hold customers hostage to CNN that evening in this deeply Republican state. Not that long ago, I frequently watched CNN. It was a reliable, respectable news outlet. Liberal but serious. But sadly, the unfortunate folks at CNN went full Trump Derangement Syndrome circa 2017.

State attorneys general of nearly half the country have signed a secret resistance pact against a key facet of President Donald Trump’s immigration policy, according to The Heritage Foundation’s Oversight Project. “Of all the things in the world they could have picked — gas, groceries, protecting minorities, making sure kids can get their genitals chopped off, whatever else they claim is their top priority — instead, it’s birthright citizenship,” Mike Howell, executive director of The Oversight Project, told The Federalist. “It shows that the border policies were always political.”

President Trump said Wednesday that he spoke with Russian President Vladimir Putin and directed members of his national security team to "immediately" begin negotiations aimed at ending Russia's war with Ukraine. The call between Mr. Trump and Putin is the first known conversation between the two since the president returned to the White House for a second term. It comes a day after Russia released Pennsylvania schoolteacher Marc Fogel, who was serving a 14-year sentence and was designated as wrongfully detained late last year. "I just had a lengthy and highly productive phone call with President Vladimir Putin of Russia," the president wrote on Truth Social

During his bid to reclaim the White House, President Trump pledged to pare down the federal government and said Elon Musk would play a role in that effort. The Democrats evidently expected this project to go the way of the ineffectual Simpson-Bowles and Grace Commissions. Consequently, they were less than pleased when Trump rebranded the United States Digital Service (USDS) as the United States DOGE Service and promptly sicced it on the bureaucratic leviathan. The public differs with the Democrats, however. According to Newsweek, a recent Reuters/Ipsos poll found that “61 percent of U.S. adults support Trump’s plan to downsize the federal government.”

In 2007, Al Gore was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize for simply talking about climate change. Now, the person who has arguably prevented more climate change than anyone else who preaches about climate change, Elon Musk, has been nominated for the 2025 Nobel Peace Prize. Some may assume the Peace Prize is usually given to someone who directly prevents or ends war, such as Theodore Roosevelt and Jimmy Carter, who were instrumental in resolving conflicts like the Russo-Japanese War and the Egypt-Israel peace process.

NEW YORK — The White House blocked an Associated Press reporter from an event in the Oval Office on Tuesday after demanding the news agency alter its style on the Gulf of Mexico, which President Donald Trump has ordered renamed the Gulf of America. The reporter, whom the AP would not identify, tried to enter the White House event as usual Tuesday afternoon and was turned away. Later, a second AP reporter was barred from a late-evening event in the White House Diplomatic Room. The highly unusual ban, which Trump administration officials had threatened earlier Tuesday unless the AP changed the style on the Gulf, could have constitutional free-speech implications.

Mike Burnham, executive director of the Maine Principals Association (MPA), confirmed on Wednesday that it will not abide by Trump’s executive order to “keep men out of women’s sports,” Fox News reported. “The executive order and our Maine state Human Rights Act are in conflict, and the Maine Principal’s Association (MPA) will continue to follow state law regarding gender identity,” Burnham insisted.
