Within moments of returning to the Oval Office on Monday, President Donald Trump got to work signing a flurry of executive orders. One of them is focused on "protecting the United States from Foreign Terrorists and other national security and public safety threats." "It is the policy of the United States to protect its citizens from aliens who intend to commit terrorist attacks, threaten our national security, espouse hateful ideology, or otherwise exploit the immigration laws for malevolent purposes," the order states. That's bad news for pro-terrorist visas holders causing trouble on college campuses by advocating for terrorist organizations like Hamas.

Any foreigner who has a temporary visa, like tourists or foreign students, or who is an illegal alien, who disrespects the American flag in anyway or who takes part in violent demonstrations where police officers or Government officials are attacked or disrespected by them or others should be immediately arrested and removed from the USA. You can safely bet that once that starts to happen that it will be hard to find any of those foreigners taking part in such activities.

Time for all of these pro Palestine / pro Hamas supporters to put their money where their mouths are an go get their "education" and show their support for "Palestine" in the real world of Gaza and other Hamas & Hezbollah controlled areas. They can live in tents in the refugee camps and ruins of Gaza. They can fight (with Hamas terrorists) for food when the food aid trucks come. I'm positive the angry Lesbians, Trans, and other LGBTQ supporters will be led right to the rooftops to scream their support (for a few seconds as they hurtle to earth). The colleges that allowed the protests and camps can pool their endowments and open their own pro Palestine education camps in Gaza to show their continued support. Again, I positive that the pro Hamas professors will jump at the opportunity to teach by example in Gaza.

Mark Milley: pardons and mutiny 13 replies

While it’s true pardoned members of Joe Biden’s crime family can be interviewed by the FBI, and lying to an agent is a crime, they don’t have to speak with federal agents. It’s equally true they can be subpoenaed by Congress and may be prosecuted for perjury, but I’m quite sure that like James Comey, Christopher Wray and a variety of other swamp dwellers, they’ll suddenly develop very bad memories. It’s equally likely Former General Mark Milley, also pardoned by Biden’s handlers, will suffer memory loss. There is, however, one consequence, small for most Americans, but large indeed for a perfumed prince of the Pentagon:

Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) flew into a rage over President Donald Trump pardoning and commuting some 1,500 Americans who were ensnared by the FBI’s overreach concerning the January 6 riots. It was an action long foreseen, though liberals need something to whine about, as it’s their only crutch regarding the 2024 elections. The California liberal took to social media to voice her outrage: Tonight, the President announced pardons and commutations of sentences for those who violently attacked the Capitol and law enforcement officers on January 6th.

I’m guessing it would take quite a lot to cross California Democrat Sen. Adam Schiff’s ethical line because in Donald Trump’s first term and in the subsequent corrupt J6 Committee, the long-necked Democrat proved that he was willing to do just about anything to “get Trump.” As fierce and nasty a partisan as you could find in The Swamp, Schiff was a leader of both impeachment trials against the 45th president—now the 47th president—and for years promised evidence of Russia collusion that he never produced. I’m sure that all of you remember how ABC and George Stephanopoulos entered into a $15 million settlement with Donald Trump, plus providing an apology, after George S repeatedly called Donald Trump a “rapist.” Trump was never tried or found guilty of rape, and calling him a “rapist” was and is pure defamation. (And that’s entirely separate from the peculiarities in E. Jean Carroll’s narrative.) It seems, though, that Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (“AOC”) missed out on that whole $15 million dollars thing. On Sunday, in one of a series of anti-Trump rants, AOC explicitly called Trump a rapist.

Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-NY) faced a monumental political chore: telling Joe Biden, the leader of his party, he needed to step down. It’s no small feat, and it’s not like the Democrats had much time. The June debate on CNN, where Biden got rolled by Donald Trump, has set off alarm bells. The cover-up of the president’s mental health got exposed—there was no pivoting away. Then, he caught COVID a few weeks later during a Nevada campaign stop. It reinforced the narrative that was now firmly entrenched in the minds of voters

One week before the presidential inauguration, Jack Smith issued a “Final Report” concerning the January 6th prosecution of Donald Trump and his co-defendants. Presumably, the report is supposed to convince the public that Trump is guilty as charged. Instead, it provides evidence of Smith’s incompetence and bias. Trump’s attorneys, John Lauro and Todd Blanche, issued a strong rebuttal (Addendum to Final Report) that excoriates this “out-of-control private citizen” for spending more than $20 million to violate “fundamental norms regarding the presumption of innocence

Pam Bondi’s first confirmation hearing will likely ensure her confirmation by the U.S. Senate, but one exchange on Wednesday created or added to a controversy among MAGA-supporters and especially the community of January 6 defendants along with their families, friends, and supporters on principle. The former attorney general of Florida is well qualified to be attorney general in the Trump administration. But Bondi’s confirmation hearing testimony let slip the mood from within the Trump transition team. The controversy of the hour is whether Trump should pardon some January 6 defendants but not all. Bondi strongly endorsed the idea that anyone “accused”

He asked whether Bondi would retract her claim that Trump won in Pennsylvania. The nominee began her answer by saying she “traveled to Pennsylvania, and let me tell you what I saw firsthand.” Padilla did not bother to let her finish, pushing her to simply answer “yes” or “no.”

Sen. Mitch McConnell (R-KY) had good qualities. He pushed through Trump’s judicial nominees during the first presidency, got his tax cuts passed, and is a noted legislative strategist and tactician. It doesn’t mean he always bats a thousand, but McConnell got key portions of the Trump agenda passed after the 2016 election. Now, he’s erased all that goodwill with this dastardly vote against Pete Hegseth for secretary of defense. McConnell’s defection, plus that of Sens. Lisa Murkowski (R-AK) and Susan Collins (R-ME), led to Vice President JD Vance performing his constitutional duty to break the tie.

Many Trump supporters believe that Trump won the 2024 election because, this time, the vote for Trump was “too big to rig.” Others dismiss the concern about “stolen elections” because Trump won the popular vote in addition to the electoral vote, plus a GOP majority in the U.S. House and Senate. The reality is that elections are still corruptible. While Democrats didn’t rig the presidential race this time around, the narrow congressional majority probably means that down-ballot races were still manipulated...something Democrats can and will do again.

When the Senate voted 51-49 yesterday to advance Pete Hegseth’s nomination as Secretary of Defense, I assumed he was in. But I learned earlier today that there was grave doubt about his confirmation, because two more Republican senators–in addition to Susan Collins and Lisa Murkowski–were likely to vote No. So tonight’s vote held plenty of suspense. Only when Thom Tillis of North Carolina announced that he was a Yes did Republicans breathe a sigh of relief. Mitch McConnell was the other potential turncoat, and he did, indeed, vote No, along with Collins and Murkowski. So the tally was 50-50, and JD Vance broke the tie in Hegseth’s (and Trump’s) favor.
