Philippines Is 'Next Ukraine': China Escalating
in South China Sea

With his assault on the Philippines, Xi could be finally making his own move in East Asia. Beijing claims all the features and waters inside its infamous "cow's tongue," now defined by ten dashes on official maps, which encloses about 85% of the South China Sea. Those waters, the Chinese proclaim, are "blue national soil." It appears... that China's leader is not planning to start hostilities with an invasion of the main island of Taiwan. Xi, in the domestic political landscape he has shaped, knows he is vulnerable, especially because his policies are being blamed for making a deteriorating situation worse.

Go ahead Xi! It'll be duck soup. They're only one of the most courageous, tenacious, and resourceful people on earth. Just ask Hirohito.

Our military could wipe out the forces of Xi within a week. It's unfortunate that it now has no leadership. I think the Filipinos could hold their own since they will have to. Xi is smart enough to keep his nukes holstered.

Hoping the Philippines turn out to be China's next Vietnam, if they push their luck and invade. (Didn't little old Vietnam prevail in both of the "skirmishes" they had with China since 1980?)

The WWII generation of Philippines put up quite the fight, not sure what the current crop would do. My guess is that China would have their hands full.

The Biden-Harris administration has not lifted a finger against Iran for a reported 200 attacks on US troops in the Middle East, which include firing on US Navy ships, closing the Suez Canal, launching a Hamas-Hezbollah-Houthi War against Israel, not to mention the atrocities Iran's regime commits every day against its own people. By ignoring sanctions against Iran and presenting no deterrence, the administration has, in fact, set up Iran to do all of that. The US could probably close down Iran's election-interference activities, but [m]ore to the point, the administration has the same goal as the Iranian regime: it does not want Trump elected, either.

Within the larger Western Intelligence Community and government control system overall, there is always internal communication and coordination amid the primary players (the G7 and G20 crowd). No government does anything against a major communication player or Big Tech voice without the other governmental leaders having fore knowledge. The U.S State Dept and Biden administration knew the French government were going to arrest Pavel Durov. The context and the issues behind the justification are ridiculous. Is Tim Cook now responsible for criminals who organize bank robberies on Apple iPhones?

Student Loan Crisis Proves the Folly of
Madam Deficit Harris' Home Subsidies

Kamala Harris wants government to help first-time homebuyers by making the age-old mistake of using government subsidies. What she should have learned from her economics and history classes, however, is that government subsidies uniformly fail – a fact proven by America’s dangerous education debt crisis. On the one hand, we have to give Kamala Harris some credit for being honest. She has refused to answer any questions about her policies in the face of criticism about her past liberal views. Despite that, her first policy proposals turned out to be every bit as liberal as people warned she was – if not more.

While Robert F. Kennedy Jr's family has been attacking him over his political beliefs for at least the last year, their behavior since he announced his support of the Trump/Vance presidential ticket has been shameful, to say the least. RFK Jr's wife, actress Cheryl Hines, is standing by her husband even though she doesn't agree with him politically and even though she undoubtedly will pay a heavy professional price for her loyalty and love. It's no secret that her "Curb Your Enthusiasm" co-star Larry David has one of the more severe cases of Trump Derangement Syndrome in Hollywood, and her other colleagues are right there with him.

Pavel Durov and his brother Nikolai are genuinely brilliant tech programmers, mathematicians and entrepreneurs. The Durov brothers founded the Telegram communication app in 2013. Telegram now has 950 million active users who can send messages, photos and videos, take part in chats for groups of up to 200,000 people and broadcast to unlimited audiences. Telegram is the preferred messaging and communication app for those concerned with privacy. In my own travels, plans and purposeful interactions, I use Telegram frequently. It is the best communication tool available, and the tech interface is brilliant. However, various government agencies hate Telegram because of the privacy it provides.

On Friday, we faced yet another black swan event. We’ve had an attempted Trump assassination, the surprise coup against President Biden, and now Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s, defection and joining up with Donald Trump. Before getting into this and a discussion of the DNC convention in Chicago, I want to expose the partisan perfidy of NPR’s Judy Woodruff and the ease with which she and the press are manipulated by the deep state. During the convention, Judy Woodruff reported (using the most authoritative voice and concerned visage she could muster) that Donald Trump had a telephone conversation with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu,

It is grotesque that Qatar should be recognized for its contributions to "maintaining national and regional security" in the Middle East given that it has long been openly supporting Islamist terrorist organizations and serving as a home and haven for the Hamas leadership. Al-Jazeera is now playing the same tole in spreading speeches of the leader of the Al-Houthi terrorist militia." — General Secretariat of the Council of Senior [Islamic] Scholars in Saudi Arabia, March 27, 2018.

Democrats are delighting in needling former President Trump over his insecurities and baiting him into reactions, believing they are taking him off message and helping Vice President Harris’s surging campaign. The needling, for Trump, is unending.Former first lady Michelle Obama delivered one of the most memorable lines of the Democratic convention Tuesday night when she suggested Trump might be seeking a “Black job” in running against Harris for the White House. After Michelle Obama left the stage, former President Obama arrived to bash Trump over his “weird obsession with crowd sizes,” adding a hand gesture that implied he was mocking Trump’s manhood.

Conservatives were making hay about Kamala Harris’ latest “word salad” at a campaign event in Pennsylvania, where, in an attempt to sound intelligent, she went on about the “duality of democracy.” “They took Kamala off the teleprompter today in Pennsylvania,” Outkick.com founder Clay Travis posted on X. “It didn’t go well.” But conservatives have it wrong. It’s actually much worse than that. Harris has been uttering this particular word salad for years – robotically, using almost the exact same phraseology, and at almost any public event where she was allowed to speak, whether or not it was relevant.

It’s infuriating that House Republicans waited so long to release their devastating report that President Biden committed impeachable offenses when he “actively participated” in a foreign influence-peddling conspiracy to enrich his family and then defrauded the American voter by lying about his abuse of office. Even more infuriating is that Biden will not be held accountable by Congress for his malfeasance. It’s hard to find a clearer-cut case for impeachment than selling access to the White House to foreigners, including the Chinese Communist Party, for tens of millions of dollars.

Do you think the DNC went well? I'm not sure the Democrats did. Reading between the lines of what was said and done between all that "joy," I think the Democrats are panicking, and for good reason. They aren't selling themselves well. If you think this is good, I've got sour news for you. This is the kind of thing that spurs Democrats into action. They live by the mantra "by any means necessary," and if the Democrats are the cornered animal they're hinting they are, then they're about to resort to some really brutal tactics to hold onto power. The signs are all there. Bizarre time change-ups, internal discord,

The 2024 hurricane season is not going as predicted – yet. So far this year, including the three that are spinning Monday, there have been more storms in the Pacific than the Atlantic, and that's a bit of a surprise, forecasters say. In addition, it's been eerily calm in the Atlantic over the past week or so as we approach what's traditionally the busiest time of the season. "It is quiet out there," Colorado State University meteorologist Phil Klotzbach told USA TODAY on Monday. "I certainly wasn't expecting this when we put out our most recent seasonal forecast!" In an explosive letter to House Judiciary Committee Chairman Rep. The content the Biden administration requested that Meta take down included “humor and satire,” according to the Facebook founder, and he said he regrets complying with certain demands.

He said he doesn’t even want the appearance of playing a role and will not be making political contributions.

As Joe Biden disembarked Air Force One in the early hours of Tuesday morning in California last week, he was visibly shaking. It was approaching 5.30am East Coast time and the president had been awake almost 24 hours. Walking slowly down the plane's stairs, he struggled to step up into the SUV waiting to take him to the 8,000-acre Santa Barbara ranch where he and his family have just enjoyed a week-long vacation. One of his Secret Service agents moved to shield him from the watching cameras, before giving him a helpful boost into the car. On the tarmac, First Lady Jill Biden watched, visibly concerned.

Less than two months ago, Donald Trump narrowly survived an assassination attempt after 20-year-old Thomas Crooks opened fire at an open-air rally in Butler, Pennsylvania. While Secret Service agents were applauded for bravely swarming the stage to protect Trump, the incident represented one of the worst security failures in American history. Following the shooting on July 13 - which claimed the life of firefighter Corey Comperatore - Congress set up a bipartisan taskforce to investigate. As questions mounted, Secret Service chief Kimberly Cheatle was forced to resign.

Kennedy's press secretary confirmed the change in a statement to CBS News. Kennedy had gone through a long process to receive USSS protection in the first place, with his initial requests being denied earlier in the cycle. It was not until the assassination attempt against former President Donald Trump in July that President Biden ordered that Kennedy receive Secret Service protection as well.
