Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg admitted Monday that the Biden administration pressured Facebook to censor COVID-19 content and acknowledged it was wrong to stifle The Post’s coverage of Hunter Biden’s infamous laptop. In an explosive letter to House Judiciary Committee Chairman Rep. Jim Jordan (R-Ohio), Zuckerberg wrote that “senior Biden administration officials, including the White House, repeatedly pressured” Meta to “censor” content related to the coronavirus pandemic in 2021. The content the Biden administration requested that Meta take down included “humor and satire,” according to the Facebook founder, and he said he regrets complying with certain demands.

Control the media. Control the masses. Remember the old saying, "It MUST be true, it was on TV." People believed you weren't allowed to put anything on TV that was a lie.

Why is Zuckerberg having a "come to Jesus" moment all of a sudden? He was one of the tech weenies seen coming in and out of the back door of the White House all through the Obama years. He knuckled under right along with Google, Microsoft and Twitter execs when it came to censorship and monitoring. The dancing bears performed for the government right through the COVID scam and prevented the warnings from reaching the people.

Yhis is a case of the instigator trying to distance himself from the criticism of his work. Zuckerberg says, "The government pressured..." should be matched with a statement like, Zuckerberg celebrates, "Finally!!" Zuckerberg and his allies are the moneymen pushing this censorship and are beginning to worry they might be exposed to reaction from the American People, whom they harmed.

As Usual, The Washington Post Gets an

One of the problems with reporters for The Washington Post is that they repeat the claims of liberals as if they are facts, without questioning the claims or pointing out the patently obvious problems with clearly false accusations. You can see that in a Page One story Saturday in which the Post blithely reports that “critics” of a new rule approved by the Georgia State Election Board say it “would empower county election officials to withhold certification of results without justification, potentially thwarting a popular result.” Nothing could be further from the truth, as is discernible by a simple reading of the rule, which the five-member Georgia State Election Board approved Aug.

Former President Trump and Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp (R) are patching things up for now as Republicans look to put on a united front in the must-win state ahead of November. The battle for the Peach State has come increasingly into focus for Democrats since Vice President Harris replaced President Biden atop the ticket. And Trump’s spat with Kemp heightened concerns among Republicans that they could see a repeat of four years ago, when the former president narrowly lost the state and launched a vendetta against its GOP leaders.

A few months ago, we learned about a young man whose name we’re withholding, which is something we very rarely do, because he insists it’s for his safety. This young Palestinian man is from a small village in the West Bank, and he grew up there with limited access to water and without a regular supply of electricity. Most of the kids he grew up with dropped out of school and went into manual labor. But this young man chose a different path. He won a scholarship to leave the West Bank and to study abroad for college. He ended up earning three degrees in three different countries.

In another sign of a party realignment, the endorsement of Trump by Robert F. Kennedy Jr. brings many voters to the Republican side. It creates a coalition of the anti-war Left and conservatives who recognize that only Trump can end the war in Ukraine and restore peace through strength for our country. “Bobby and I will fight together to defeat the corrupt political establishment,” Trump declared to a full arena near Phoenix, which erupted in applause as RFK Jr. joined him on stage. RFK Jr. later told Tucker Carlson that he is joining Trump’s transition team to help pick who will be in the next Trump administration.

Continuing in the series of articles around the challenge to Trump staffing in 2025, we now shift focus to the FBI Director, Deputy Director and Chief Legal Counsel positions. However, in order to appropriately discuss this critical silo, it becomes very important for everyone to understand the current status of the FBI as the organization has self-identified. For those who followed the 2016 campaign of President Trump and then watched the 2017 attacks organized by the DOJ and FBI toward the incoming Trump administration, you may agree with me that a complete disassembly of the FBI is now warranted.

Vice Presidential nominee Senator JD Vance, appears on Meet the Press for an argumentative debate on Trump policy. On the issue of tariffs, this might have been JD Vance’s first opportunity to set the record straight about what tariffs did in the first Trump administration. Unfortunately, because JD Vance did not have the data to refute the NBC talking points, he missed an opportunity to set the record straight. Tariffs did not raise prices and consumers did not pay tariff rates in the first Trump administration. Factually, the exact opposite happened. Prices dropped when Trump tariffs were put into place, the reasons are explained after the interview.

A Tennessee 10-year-old was expelled from school for a full year after he pointed his finger in the shape of a gun and made mock "machine gun" noises, according to a ProPublica investigation. The boy was expelled as part of a "zero tolerance" law in Tennessee that mandates any student who makes a threat of "mass violence" be expelled for at least one year. While the law, originally signed in 2023—following a shooting by a former student at a private school in Nashville—was recently amended to direct schools to expel students only for "valid" threats, the provisions of the law are still vague, and schools have considerable enforcement leeway.

A conservative-backed push for stricter proof-of-citizenship requirements for voting could complicate efforts to avert a government shutdown next month. Lawmakers on both sides of the aisle have acknowledged a stopgap of some kind, also known as a continuing resolution (CR), will be necessary to keep the government funded past Sept. 30. But calls are growing among House conservatives to use that must-pass measure to force consideration of a partisan bill aimed at barring noncitizens from voting — laying the groundwork for a clash with the Democratic-led Senate, which would likely reject such a package.

High LDL (otherwise known as ‘bad’) cholesterol is considered a major risk factor for heart disease and stroke, which together claim over 850,000 lives each year in the United States. But is cholesterol—and LDL cholesterol in particular—really the arch enemy of health that we’ve been led to believe? “A person that has good, healthy levels of cholesterol means that their biochemical system is working in this particular spot—in terms of cholesterol regulation and (cholesterol) transport,” says biochemical researcher, Dr. Dayan Goodenowe.
