Kamala Harris has yet to give a press conference or sit down with any journalist to discuss the construct of a campaign around her. The media has largely tried to cover for this lack of openness, but even hardcore narrative engineers are starting to become twitchy at the extreme handling of Hawk Tuah Harris.
To deflect attention from the absence of questioning, HT Harris primary handler Brian Fallon, has arranged a scripted interview with CNN. Together with her sketchy running mate, Tim Walz, Mrs Harris will be questioned by Dana Bash in a taped interview which will be edited, smoothed and broadcast on CNN fake news tomorrow at 9pm ET.

A conservative-backed push for stricter proof-of-citizenship requirements for voting could complicate efforts to avert a government shutdown next month.
Lawmakers on both sides of the aisle have acknowledged a stopgap of some kind, also known as a continuing resolution (CR), will be necessary to keep the government funded past Sept. 30. But calls are growing among House conservatives to use that must-pass measure to force consideration of a partisan bill aimed at barring noncitizens from voting — laying the groundwork for a clash with the Democratic-led Senate, which would likely reject such a package.

Utah has filed suit in the Supreme Court against the federal government over the millions of acres that the feds hold and make inaccessible to the people of Utah. The state attorney general and governor, along with the state legislature, hope that the Supreme Court will affirm that the federal government has no constitutional right to hold “unappropriated” lands indefinitely. In this case, “unappropriated” land refers to property that the federal government is holding on to but not using for anything, such as national parks, timber harvesting, mining, grazing, or any other purpose.

The highest responsibility of our president is to ensure the defense of our nation — but for four years, Joe Biden and Kamala Harris have neglected this crucial role.
Rising threats from China, Iran and Russia are a reminder that keeping America safe requires more than just reacting to attacks and provocations; it demands an active strategy to deter, dismantle, and destroy our enemies’ ability to do America harm.
Concerningly, commitment to this principle has been lacking most clearly at our border with Mexico. By allowing transnational drug cartels to operate with impunity — indeed,

Two days ago, Nate Silver, the media’s favorite polling “expert” who on election day in 2016 gave Hillary Clinton a 71% chance of winning, said polls had Kamala Harris 5 points ahead of Donald Trump and that “our best guess is that her lead will increase further, especially given that almost none of the polling was done after her strong acceptance speech on Thursday.”
Of course, Silver was hardly alone. The leftist media was fully expecting a big bounce in Harris’ poll numbers.
So, where is Kamala’s big convention bounce?
The Morning Consult found Harris’ lead over Trump unchanged since last Thursday.

Newly released video filmed by Nancy Pelosi’s daughter as the events of Jan. 6 unfolded reveals a furious House Speaker admitting that the National Guard should have been called in earlier as the unrest unfolded. However, seeing an opportunity—"never let a serious crisis go to waste,” in the words of former Obama chief of staff Rahm Emanuel—the San Francisco liberal quickly realized that she could use the situation to try to take down then-President Donald Trump. It’s hard to hear what she’s saying because they’re all wearing those ineffective, virtue-signaling COVID masks, but it’s pretty clear that she does admit, “We have totally failed.” You decide:

The Biden-Harris administration has not lifted a finger against Iran for a reported 200 attacks on US troops in the Middle East, which include firing on US Navy ships, closing the Suez Canal, launching a Hamas-Hezbollah-Houthi War against Israel, not to mention the atrocities Iran's regime commits every day against its own people. By ignoring sanctions against Iran and presenting no deterrence, the administration has, in fact, set up Iran to do all of that.
The US could probably close down Iran's election-interference activities, but [m]ore to the point, the administration has the same goal as the Iranian regime: it does not want Trump elected, either.

Within the larger Western Intelligence Community and government control system overall, there is always internal communication and coordination amid the primary players (the G7 and G20 crowd). No government does anything against a major communication player or Big Tech voice without the other governmental leaders having fore knowledge.
The U.S State Dept and Biden administration knew the French government were going to arrest Pavel Durov. The context and the issues behind the justification are ridiculous. Is Tim Cook now responsible for criminals who organize bank robberies on Apple iPhones?

With his assault on the Philippines, Xi could be finally making his own move in East Asia.
Beijing claims all the features and waters inside its infamous "cow's tongue," now defined by ten dashes on official maps, which encloses about 85% of the South China Sea. Those waters, the Chinese proclaim, are "blue national soil."
It appears... that China's leader is not planning to start hostilities with an invasion of the main island of Taiwan. Xi, in the domestic political landscape he has shaped, knows he is vulnerable, especially because his policies are being blamed for making a deteriorating situation worse.

Kamala Harris wants government to help first-time homebuyers by making the age-old mistake of using government subsidies. What she should have learned from her economics and history classes, however, is that government subsidies uniformly fail – a fact proven by America’s dangerous education debt crisis. On the one hand, we have to give Kamala Harris some credit for being honest. She has refused to answer any questions about her policies in the face of criticism about her past liberal views. Despite that, her first policy proposals turned out to be every bit as liberal as people warned she was – if not more.

While Robert F. Kennedy Jr's family has been attacking him over his political beliefs for at least the last year, their behavior since he announced his support of the Trump/Vance presidential ticket has been shameful, to say the least. RFK Jr's wife, actress Cheryl Hines, is standing by her husband even though she doesn't agree with him politically and even though she undoubtedly will pay a heavy professional price for her loyalty and love. It's no secret that her "Curb Your Enthusiasm" co-star Larry David has one of the more severe cases of Trump Derangement Syndrome in Hollywood, and her other colleagues are right there with him.

Pavel Durov and his brother Nikolai are genuinely brilliant tech programmers, mathematicians and entrepreneurs. The Durov brothers founded the Telegram communication app in 2013. Telegram now has 950 million active users who can send messages, photos and videos, take part in chats for groups of up to 200,000 people and broadcast to unlimited audiences. Telegram is the preferred messaging and communication app for those concerned with privacy. In my own travels, plans and purposeful interactions, I use Telegram frequently. It is the best communication tool available, and the tech interface is brilliant. However, various government agencies hate Telegram because of the privacy it provides.
