George Stephanopoulos on Sunday reacted to the news that President Trump was shot in a failed assassination attempt, ignoring the divisiveness and violent rhetoric from the left and claiming, “President Trump and his supporters have contributed to this violent rhetoric as well.” Chief Global Affairs Correspondent Martha Raddatz, in the clip below, discussed the attempted assassination with Stephanopoulos and said that no matter what, “you are going to hear conspiracy theories going forward.” Just like we did after the JFK assassination, right?

Then why are Republicans always the ones getting shot by Leftists? With Stephanopoulos it’s all about Democrat talking points. Everything is about positioning things for political advantage. What a slimy lying little weasel he is. The Clintons introduced him on the national stage. He’s their baby and it figures.

Obviously Stephanopoulos is no longer in a position to make policy decisions from within an administration but is it too much to believe that there are psychopaths just like him in the Biden administration? Do we believe that if an amoral individual like Stephanopoulos were able to weaken Secret Service protection supplied for a political opponent, in hopes of defeating them by any means, he/she/Jill/Hunter would be too principled to do so? And do we doubt that such an individual would blame the opponent after the opponent was nearly killed? Because I don’t.

Obama called me a racist, but oh so elegantly as he said the reason I stood against his fundamental transformation and redistribution of the wealth I created, was because he doesn’t look like me. He also famously somewhat less artfully called for meeting a knife with a gun. Hillary was less concerned with polishing the terd when she called me deplorable and irredeemable. Biden called me the dregs of society and an existential threat to our “democracy.” I, by extension, have been called Fascist, Nazi, Islamophobic, homophobic, and a domestic terrorist. I have personalized this for good reason. One of their tactics is to leave us an out to not take it personally with the intent that we distance ourselves from like-minded people. Half of Trump supporters are in the basket, well she certainly can’t mean me so it must be you she’s talking about. No she means me she means you and so do the lot of them. Not only do they talk of us this way they act on it. They used the FBI do go after parents who object to gay porn in their local school library. So not only are they calling us homophobic they are imposing material consequences on us. Where’s the parallel coming from the non-left? Sure we use words like target and bullseye, and call for fighting the good fight like we do on a fall Saturday when our kids take to the gridiron. But where have direct words targeting every day garden variety democrat voting citizens been used that might inspire a mush minded fool to do something stupid to my neighbors? Point it out and I’ll denounce it and admit to my own blinkers. Now that the teacher caught two kids fighting the bully who instigated it says, “what are we doing we shouldn’t be fighting like this let’s shake hands.”

And we are supposed to find common ground with these fools? Not likely. They are doing everything but actually sitting down and doing some self-reflection. Even today, social media is flooded with horrific anti-Trump comments. These people are vile and evil. The only thing they understand is defeat and loss of power. I think our best response is to give them the medicine they desperately need, a big shot of abject defeat in November. Let them choke on that pill!

About a year ago I read (sorry, I can't remember where) about a survey given to young people about the U.S. and it's politics and a shockingly large percentage of them saw nothing wrong with the idea of a politician with different views from theirs being assasinated. The Marxists in our educational system have, victoriously, reaped what they have sown.

Did the press ever think they are the biggest threat to America's democracy? I watched a NEWs show yesterday for about 5 minutes and during that time the term "attempted assignation of former President Trump" was used over 50 times. With so many unstable people roaming our streets any news comment might trigger a reaction. Like the movies of the old west, every person with a gun on his hip wanted to be the one that shot "the fastest gun alive".

Little Georgie Snuffleupagas is a Clinton operative, so what would you expect him to say? Especially since just the other day Biden was on national TV saying that it was time to put Trump “in the bullseye”. In addition Biden recently said essentially that something bad was going to happen to Trump! So watch as Biden is probably going to weigh in a substantial way to try and get out from under all the Democrat “lawfare” cases that he and his Attorney General have initiated against Trump.

Matt Vespa: "For months, Biden has been ginning up the Democratic Party base into a violent frenzy over Trump, claiming he’ll destroy our democracy and is the greatest threat of all time to our country. Joe Biden should have taken responsibility for increasing the supposed temperature and didn’t because Joe Biden is a failed president, politician, and human being who hails from a family that’s comprised of drug addicts, money-grubbers, and power-trippers—they’re all degenerates... So, no, we don’t need lectures from people who were inciting violence against conservatives and Trump. This nation will be better, stronger, and more compassionate when this grump, delusional b--- leaves the White House, and I am all too happy to make that happen by voting for Donald J. Trump this Fall. I’ve said my opponent is essentially Hitler, but let’s tone down the rhetoric. Go to hell, Joe. And take your Ensure and catheter with you. Oh, and don’t forget to tranquilize Lady Macbeth, who will not be willing to vacate the premises. As The Gateway Pundit reported, President Trump was nearly assassinated last night during a campaign rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, by a 20-year-old Democrat donor named Thomas Matthew Crooks. Trump immediately grabbed his neck after being shot while bleeding profusely from his ear. Video recordings of the scene also show Trump ducking down immediately after the initial gunshots were heard. Secret Service agents promptly shielded Trump and guided him away from further harm. Despite being injured, a defiant Trump raised his fist and yelled “Fight!” multiple times toward the crowd.

Some thoughts on the attempted assassination of former president Donald Trump. First, regarding the Secret Service. It is all well and good that the agents at the scene reacted as trained and instantly covered and shielded the former president with their bodies, willingly accepting the possibility of being mortally wounded in the interest of protecting Donald Trump. However, that type of response indicates an abject failure of the protective mission. It seems that only a providential head turn to the right saved Donald Trump’s life.

Victor Davis Hanson’s latest book is a macabre warning to an aging America as it closes in on its 250th birthday. The warning comes in the form of a graphic depiction of the hideousness of war and the terrifying state of those who suffer ignominious defeat. However different the four societies described in the book were, be they Thebans, Carthaginians, Byzantines, or Aztecs, each was blinded by the illusion of invincibility. Hanson shows that such an illusion is so persistent that even as the conquered were being slaughtered, they continued to think: “It cannot happen here.”

If you didn’t understand why Biden ran his 2020 campaign from his Wilmington rec room, now you know. COVID precaution was a convenient excuse. Biden wasn’t ever going to draw a crowd like Trump, so masking up and hanging out in front of his big screen was an easy dodge.
