Long ago, they were dystopian fantasies. To imagine a world with the night sky lit up by burning cathedrals. A world of Christians fleeing for their lives in plundered, smoking landscapes. A broken Europe suffering the same fate as Constantinople in 1453: Destruction, carnage, and enslavement. The Muslim invasion of Europe has already taken place. Not that the Christian heartland (i.e. unlike exposed places such as Cyprus in 1974) has been taken by military force as when Moorish and Ottoman armies advanced from opposite corners of the world, West and East, respectively.

I used to emphatically say to my friends and family that God would not allow Islam to prevail over Christianity, I.e., His People. Now, I am far less optimistic after reading this.

Back in the 1500's Christianity was very popular in Japan and many, many Japanese had converted. in 1614 the Tokugawa Shogunate banned Christianity and many Christians went underground. They passed down prayers and Bible verses from parent to child and prayed within their families. After the Meiji Restoration, the ban on Christianity was lifted and the hidden Christians came out into the open. We may have to do this too.

Visited friends in Aberdeen Scotland several decades ago and Aberdeen had already turned several closed, century old Christian churches into bars - Slains Castle for cocktails named after the 7 deadly sins and Soul where shots were dispensed in the confessional. The Scots won't be going quietly into that Islamic good night but they will be going drunk. If the Muslims decide to convert these former houses of Christian worship into Mosques, the stoning (drunkenness) of the Scots will be replaced with the stoning of females accused of adultery - the 21st century returning to the 7th century.

I wonder how my father and the rest of the crew on his B24 would feel, knowing they were liberating Europe from the Nazis only to see it handed over to Islam?

Dems in Chaos: Joe Biden's Campaign Is
Poll-Testing a Harris v. Trump Matchup

Democrats are the most disarrayed they've been in recent memory after President Joe Biden's botched debate performance against former President Donald Trump set off a firestorm of internal chaos over a path forward for their party ahead of November's elections. After the mainstream media feigned sudden surprise that Biden has trouble demonstrating fitness to be commander-in-chief and Democrats called for their party's leader to withdraw from the race, now even the Biden campaign is "quietly" testing Vice President Kamala Harris' strength against Trump, according to The New York Times.

The government’s Epstein problem 3 replies

I’m not going to rehash the details surrounding the Epstein … thing, because I don’t have any. Nobody seems to. And what details we do know make absolutely no sense whatsoever. The official story sounds like a Millennial giving his boss an excuse for why he was late for work; complete horse manure. It was described by American media as “the most prolific pedophile ring in American history”… yet only one person went to jail … and that person is, a British woman. (One person does not a “ring” make … nor two, for that matter.)

The cackling diversity hire of a vice president is a disaster, not just for Democrat election prospects, but for the nation and the world. Let us review her portfolio. She entered the 2019 presidential primary, but dropped out of the race early, after being crushed in the debate by Tulsi Gabbard. Her one shining debate moment was when she accurately condemned Biden for working with segregationists, stopping just short of calling him a racist. She earned zero delegates in the primary. She was bested by the likes of Bernie Sanders, Elizabeth “Pocahontas” Warren, “Mini Mike” Bloomberg, “Pothole” Pete Buttigieg, and Amy Klobuchar (who?).

Have you noticed anything different with Donald Trump lately? Joe Biden’s campaign is imploding after last week’s debate, where the former president handily beat the president in the 90-minute televised event. The Democratic Party base is in full panic mode, its donor base infuriated, and there are growing calls to replace Biden on the ticket. Barack Obama has weighed in, telling allies that Joe’s path to 270 might not be there after his disastrous debate performance. It seems like a situation where old-school Trump would be poking the bear, mocking the president’s misfortune. Instead, he’s gone quiet, and it’s effective.

Biden’s debate collapse was reportedly a set-up as part of a “soft coup,” and a prominent replacement may already be waiting in the wings. The Daily Mail spoke to Democrat operatives on Saturday who say Biden’s debate was part of a set-up to ensure he fell flat on his face so they could eventually replace him with someone younger and more competent. “There has never been a debate this early before,” a former Hillary Clinton aide explained to the outlet. “Traditionally, the debates are held after the Republican and Democratic conventions, which are in July and August.”

On Friday, Rep. Chip Roy (R-TX) filed a resolution calling on Vice President Kamala Harris to use her powers under the 25th Amendment to convene the Cabinet and declare President Joe Biden unfit to serve. This resolution comes after Roy posted his intention to do so on Friday morning, following Biden's disastrous debate performance. The resolution calls on Harris "to transmit to the President pro tempore of the Senate and the Speaker of the House of Representatives notice that she will be immediately assuming the powers and duties of the office as Acting President."

In a recent segment on Fox News, former White House Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany dropped what she described as a “bombshell” concerning the current state of the Biden campaign. McEnany quoted a post from Doug Kass, a hedge fund owner and prominent figure within the Democratic party, who claimed to have insider knowledge about a meeting taking place between President Joe Biden, his former Chief of Staff Ron Klain, and former President Barack Obama. According to Kass’s post, Jill Biden is insistent about Joe Biden running for re-election, causing tension within his own campaign.

Hunter Biden can't practice law in the nation's capital as of Tuesday, another consequence of his conviction in Delaware on multiple federal felonies. Signed by D.C. Court of Appeals Chief Judge Anna Blackburne-Rigsby, the order cites "the indictment and jury verdict form filed in the United States District Court for the District of Delaware demonstrating that the respondent [Hunter Biden] was found guilty of three felony counts" appearing to be "serious crimes" as defined by the D.C. Bar rules. As the rules state, it is "professional misconduct" for a lawyer to commit "a criminal act that reflects adversely on the lawyer’s honesty, trustworthiness, or fitness as…"

We keep hearing rumblings from our garbage ruling class about how not enough of our citizens are signing up for their progressive army to fight climate change, transphobia, and, occasionally, in defense of the United States. But defending America’s borders is apparently racist, so we’re not going to do that. The problem is that the normal Americans who make up our military, or used to make up our military, are no longer making up our military. Veterans are nearly unanimous – vets are telling young people to stay the hell out of our broken military. It’s a disaster. It can’t win a war.

Andrew Cuomo was riding high as New York’s Attorney General and, later, New York’s governor until his own party “Me-tooed” him right out of office. That last experience seems to have removed the rose color from his glasses when he looks at the Democrat party (which is still his political party). That’s why, when he appeared on Bill Maher’s show, he attacked the so-called ‘hush money’ trial and lambasted both Biden’s immigration policies and his campaign. Too little, too late, of course, but it was still good to hear and nice to see the reprehensible Adam Kinzinger sitting there as glumly as a child who just lost all privileges.

The authoritarians and their ever-abiding media minions of the fascist far left have always striven to lie with language to further their socialist national agenda. Their most recent project is conniving to convince everyone that we’re a “democracy” instead of a constitutional republic — for several reasons, but the most fundamental is that if they can change the foundations of our Republic, they can change anything. The far left has always laid claim to a counterfeit “right” to change the definition of any word they choose for their momentary convenience. George Orwell hinted at this in his dystopian epic 1984, with his essay on “Newspeak.”

oe Biden's first solo press conference with the White House press corps since last November, originally scheduled at 5:30 p.m. EDT, has been delayed one hour because the NATO meeting started late. But the signs are unmistakable. Unless Biden can shed 20 years and appear to be hale and hearty enough to stay up past 8:00 p.m., he's a goner no matter how badly he wants to stay in the race. The noise has been deafening all day. Donors, Democratic politicians, and ordinary people are all calling for Biden's exit from the race. To make matters worse, his inner circle of advisors has shrunk to just two of his closest aides:

CBS News president Ingrid Ciprian-Matthews — who was accused of sidelining white journalists and blocking an acclaimed correspondent’s reporting on the Hunter Biden laptop — is stepping down at the network, the company said Wednesday. The controversial news boss, who was named president just last August, is exiting after she made headlines in February over the firing of Catherine Herridge, a respected senior investigative reporter who had been doggedly covering the Hunter Biden laptop story for the network. At the time, media insiders speculated that Herridge’s exit was linked to her reporting that President Biden may have kept evidence that he had foreign business dealings while in office.

Dr. Jill Biden may have the Vogue cover – but Melania Trump just did her one better. Prior to hosting a hugely successful Republican fundraiser on Monday night — bringing in $1.4 million — Melania strode through Manhattan in a sleeveless, figure-hugging red Valentino sheath and six-inch Louboutin heels. She was alone. But she looked undeniably happy. For a woman who communicates primarily through clothing, Melania projected many things at once: Strength, defiance, fiery determination, and an allegiance to her husband's candidacy. This, despite not having been seen with the former president since their son, Barron, graduated from high school in May.

President Biden drew gasps Thursday evening when he referred to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky as “President Putin” — confusing him with the Russian tyrant whose forces have invaded Ukraine for the past two-and-a-half years. Biden quickly apologized for the embarrassing flub, saying it happened because he was “so focused on beating” the Kremlin strongman. However, the mistake is likely to accelerate calls among congressional Democrats for the 81-year-old to end his bid for a second term.

Recall when electric vehicles were our future, the next generation of automobiles that were going to save us? It’s been a fairly tale from the beginning, as people are beginning to see. The lack of progress cannot be explained away by the challenges faced by any infrastructure buildout, though Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg

From there, he's been rambling and filibustering, attempting to burn enough time so his staff can claim he held his own. The truth is, this was a disaster.

One unfortunate feature of national political campaigns over the last quarter-century has been the "base turnout" model. Rather than try to modulate the message and agenda to appeal to the center, both of the major parties have focused instead on energizing their base. Barack Obama may have been the exception in this century, about which I wrote in my book Going Red, but even that was only in his first presidential election. By 2012, Obama had to rely on his base and his considerable personal approval to skate by in a close re-election effort. Donald Trump also relied on a base-turnout model in both of his presidential elections, as did
