Sen. Tim Scott (R-SC) delivered a powerful speech at the Republican National Convention (RNC) this week in which he compared former President Trump to a lion climbing back to his feet following the failed assassination attempt on his life. “Are you ready for 4 more years of Donald Trump?” Tim Scott asked the crowd, who enthusiastically responded. “If you didn’t believe in miracles before Saturday, you better be believing right now,” he said. “Thank God almighty that we live in a country that still believes in the King of Kings and Lord of Lords, the Alpha and the Omega. And our God – Our God! – still saves.

Now THAT was a speech! All that was missing was the Hammond B3 accentuating the pauses! If you know what I'm talking about, you know! Scott would have been a great VP pick - for campaigning purposes, anyway. He needed a few 'amens' to his sermon!

I hope that President Trump has a good position in mind for Tim Scott. He is a smart and accomplished man who came from meager beginnings, just like JD did.

#6, he can come on down to Crossroads Community Church any time he wants! We'd get New Hope, Hickory Grove and St. John's country (and I mean WAY OUT IN THE WOODS) churches (several denominations and racial background, but all children of GOD!) to come out and hear him. There would be a tremendous crowd (by deep East Texas standards) and dinner on the grounds. Maybe even a singing, if we could get the choirs to agree on the songs - or even some way-back Sacred Harp singing! (If you've never heard, Sacred Harp singing, google it. Ain't nothing like it!)

Report: Biden Caves to Left, Will Back
Changes to Supreme Court

President Joe Biden is preparing to back changes to the Supreme Court that he hopes will energize the left-wing base of the Democratic Party as his reelection campaign continues to sink. The Washington Post reported Tuesday that Biden will soon back term limits for Supreme Court justices and a new “ethics code” to be enforced against the judiciary. He will stop short, however, of calling to expand the Court. That could be a matter of politics more than one of principle. Democrats once hoped to use their temporary majority in both houses of Congress in 2021 and 2022 to expand and “pack” the Court with enough liberal justices

I’ve spoken to so many people who were shocked at the assassination attempt on President Trump. But as pointed out by Sebastian Gorka, what is shocking is not that the assassination was attempted but that it took this long. The public discourse has become progressively uglier over the years, especially over the last few months as Trump has risen in the polls. Dr. Gorka pointed out the many calls for violence against Trump and MAGA supporters coming from leftist politicians like Maxine Waters and Nancy Pelosi and, of course, President Biden’s call to put a bullseye on President Trump.

Joe Biden's interview with NBC News’ Lester Holt Monday night was kind of a disaster. His failure to accept responsibility for his dangerous and violent rhetoric about Donald Trump was enraging, but the interview also became the latest example of his disturbing lack of mental fitness for the presidency. He once again came off as tired and weak, but things got really disturbing when he referred to his female Secret Service director as a man. "Do you have — are you — are you — you have confidence in the Secret Service?” Holt asked. "Do you feel safe?" "I feel safe with the Secret Service,” Biden said.

According to two sources familiar with the Secret Service's operations, the rooftop from which a gunman fired at former President Donald Trump during a campaign rally in Butler, Pa., had been flagged as a potential security risk by the agency days before the incident, NBC News reported. The sources indicate that the Secret Service was aware of the risks associated with the building adjacent to the Butler Farm Show, an outdoor venue. “Someone should have been on the roof or securing the building so no one could get on the roof,” one of the sources, a former senior Secret Service agent, explained. Understanding how the gunman got onto the roof —

Former President Donald Trump arrived at the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, on Monday, two days after surviving an assassination attempt. Lee Greenwood first spoke to the crowd, making it clear that “prayer works” ahead of Trump’s introduction. “Is there any doubt who’s going to be the next President of the United States?” he asked. “Prayer works — this nation based on faith. Prayer works, because he was sure as Donald Trump turned his head just slightly, that the bullet missed him just enough to save his life to be the next President of the United States,” Greenwood said as the crowd cheered.

During all the insanity that happened on Saturday involving the attempted assassination of Donald Trump, there was a moment that stood out to many, and it involved the conduct of the female Secret Service agents. As one clip showed, the women protecting Trump looked jittery and slightly unsure of themselves. One of them tried to holster her side arm but kept missing the holster, eventually just placing it close to her until it was easier to do so. This resulted in many people questioning why there were female Secret Service agents in the first place. To be clear, I also spoke out about this,

Former President Donald Trump has chosen freshman Ohio Sen. JD Vance to serve as his No. 2 in his bid to return to the White House, ending months of speculation about who he had chosen for his VP. Trump world insiders had long said the 78-year-old would choose someone based on “loyalty” and someone who would compliment his strong personality, but not overshadow him, raise money and be ready to serve. The decision comes on the first day of the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and comes two days after a gunman shot Trump in the upper ear at a Pennsylvania rally. The shooter, 20-year-old Thomas Crooks, nearly missed Trump’s head,

This is a scary moment in America, and we need a leader who won’t exploit the chaos.
