All over the media in the past two days was Michelle Obama’s “exclusive” interview, in which she dished on the Biden family dysfunction. (Snip)To any of us who attended the First and Second ladies’ horror shows during Barack’s first and second terms, we saw, repeatedly, strain, and certainly no love lost between Michelle and Jill. Both are ambitious, to put it mildly, vain, and love money. Michelle’s abrupt garrulousness this week was not a coincidence. It is a clear sign that the faux indifference of Ms. Obama to “be” president of the United States may be about to evaporate. We can anticipate, although most hopefully not, a putative fourth Obama administration,

Comments:

She is the Dems' obvious choice. She probably doesn't know enough about policy to speak intelligently but she'd be better than Joe at memorizing what she's fed. She does have the drawback of being a nasty piece of work as a racist, some of it on video.

The only one that can replace Kamala Harris in this train wreck, is Big MO. Kamala would graciously step aside for Michelle by Belle, and the "most admired woman in the country" would be the democrat nominee for president for the sake of the country. With yet another stolen election in the works, that will definitely be the end of the greatest Republic the world has known, should she be installed.

If you were living her four mansion, gazillions of dollars, jet-setting no responsibilities lifestyle, would you give it up to live in the hated White House to take a job where you’d have to show up every day, even if others were doing the work for you? Not just show up but look presentable, speak intelligently, attend boring meetings, be under the microscope 24/7 and glad-hand with the peons. Sorry, don’t see it. And let’s not forget that a lot of those kids who suffered through her hated school lunch program are now of voting age.

A major conservative activist group is preparing for legal battles in case the Democratic Party chooses to pull President Biden out of the running before or after he becomes the nominee. The Heritage Foundation, one of the United States' most prominent and well-connected conservative activist groups, is laying the groundwork in case a sudden switch-up in the Democratic roster sparks a legal war. "We are monitoring the calls from across the country for President Biden to step aside, either now or before the election, and have concluded that the process for substitution and withdrawal is very complicated," (Snip) "We will remain vigilant that appropriate election integrity procedures are followed."

Last night saw the grim horror of a CNN hosted Presidential debate between Joe Biden and Donald Trump. In many ways such a spectacle is crueller than anything devised by the writers of The Boys or the directors of the Saw franchise of torture porn movies. Trump himself summed it up best: “I don’t know what he said in that last sentence, and I don’t think he does either.” (Snip) Trump had the honesty, alone in his billionaire class, to see that the experts and institutions and respectable management class were destroying his country, and he had the courage to keep advocating the things that work

Much has been made about Hamas being a genocidal, antisemitic terrorist organization — and rightfully so. Its publicly available charter is more than explicit about its genocidal, antisemitic aims — and we would all be wise to take Hamas at its word. Shrugging off these aspects of Hamas does not make them any less murderous or any more make-believe. But there is a second side to Hamas (and other terrorist organizations, both past and present) that gets less attention, yet is likely the oxygen which allows for its genocidal, antisemitic terrorism to remain alive and kicking. Hamas is ultimately a business — a mega-business. Like you and I go to work every day,

And by completely lost, I mean that he could not maintain focus when asked questions, could not figure out how to look into the camera, and said many things that, frankly, made no sense. I flipped on CNN for kicks and giggles (and no small amount of schadenfreude) and was shocked by what I saw because, as we know, Democrats usually back their guy to the end—"to the pain," as one "Princess Bride" character famously quipped. During the 90-minute trainwreck of a presidential debate — which kicked off five hours after the president’s peak performance window, at 9 p.m. — Biden often appeared vacant or slack-jawed, and on several occasions froze mid-thought, misspoke, or struggled to form coherent sentences.
