Arrogant Hunter Biden has never been held
accountable — until now

The conviction of Hunter Biden on all of the federal gun counts created a surprising new precedent in Delaware … for Hunter Biden. In terms of the law, this was the easiest judgment since the Jussie Smollett verdict. (Actually the Biden jury took a third of the time with a verdict in just three hours.) For Hunter Biden, though, this was the first time he’s ever been held accountable for any criminal conduct, be it drug use, or prostitution, or tax evasion, or violations of various federal laws. To have that moment come in the hometown of the Bidens likely only magnified the shock.

At least his sugar brother isn't picking up the legal bills. I wonder how unemployed Hunter is paying for his lawyers? Next up, tax evasion trial in CA, hopefully followed by perjury trial in DC. Your summer is pretty booked up, Hunter.

This trial helped Joe, Garland and the crooked DOJ by implying a fairness in the law that isn't there. It will not teach Hunter anything or hurt his lifestyle and like all other things Biden, was a huge failure. The entire Biden family is a blight on America.

I really like you Johnathan but I'd hold your horses on the arrival of accountability. First, there hasn't been any sentencing yet. A fine he can easily pay by skimming a few bills off of his mountain of ill-gotten gains selling influence and US policy to foreign powers won't do it for me. Using this as cover for being let off the hook for far greater crimes including treason, isn't exactly what I would call accountability.

Lest anyone forget the "sweetheart deal" from 2023 falling apart when they tried to get a package deal on combining the tax evasion AND the gun charges, the Judge did not let that come about for much lesser sentencing charges of Hunter pleading GUILTY----- This one is now separated and a conviction secured. What will happen at sentencing? This one had to be don separately BECAUSE it would not lead to Daddy and it protects the Vegetable from "discovery" and being brought in to the proceedings. That sweetheart deal did not fly, and Daddy said he would NOT pardon his little boy over this. Bring on the financial discoveries of WHERE and WHO Hunter's MI::IONS of dollars came to him and HOW his proud and loving father was involved!!

He's still sitting pretty. No known employer but he has a phalanx of pricey lawyers at his beck and call. Last I heard lives in a $20K/month beach house in LA. Wheels around in large SUV with blacked-out windows and the Secret Service in tow. Not sure if he's paying child support owed to the daughter he sought to disown.

When I look for the headwaters of love, for its source in my life, I always arrive back at my father. Every other Saturday morning from when I was 13, when my parents got divorced until I left for college, my brother, sister and I would watch for him through the living room window. When he pulled into the driveway, we’d shout “Bye, Mom!” as we shut the front door and ran down the steps to his car. Mainly what he wanted to do was have a long breakfast at a cafe with comfortable banquettes and bottomless coffee. And talk, except he would say “visit.” A lot

In an age filled with hostile propaganda against the nuclear family and devoted fathers in particular, it is worthwhile to ask why the celebration of Father’s Day persists. Most of us instinctively understand the connection between fatherlessness and social ills, such as crime, poverty, and mental illness. At the same time, we can see the calm and joy of children who are blessed with responsible and loving fathers. Maybe those are reasons why the tradition of Father’s Day continues to hold sway in America, in spite of ideologues who hope to abolish responsible masculinity by labeling it as toxic, patriarchal, or a product of “white supremacy.”

This week, Attorney General Merrick Garland took to the pages of the Washington Post to lash out at critics who are spreading what he considers “conspiracy theories crafted and spread for the purpose of undermining public trust in the judicial process itself.” His column, titled “Unfounded attacks on the Justice Department must end,” missed the point. It is Garland himself who has become the problem. The solution is in Wilmington, Delaware, where 12 average citizens just showed a commitment to the rule of law that seems to be harder and harder for the attorney general to meet.

New York Times columnist and former Oregon Democratic gubernatorial candidate Nicholas Kristof admitted on Saturday that the West Coast cities is "a mess" because of Democratic Party leaders. In a column for the New York Times, Kristof argued that "West Coast liberalism" is more focused on the intentions behind its policies rather than its outcomes. As a result, deep blue states like Oregon have major homeless and drug problems, "below-average" high school graduation rates, and high murder rates. "But liberals like me do need to face the painful fact that something has gone badly wrong where we’re in charge, from San Diego to Seattle,"

European leaders, we are told, fear that their relationship with the United States could be destabilized if former President Donald Trump is reelected and pursues an America-first agenda, not one aligned to the priorities of Europe’s ruling parties. Those European leaders should pay attention to their own constituents. After the European Parliament elections last weekend, it is clear European voters want changes similar to those being offered by Trump.

The malign influence of the deep state was revealed in a Delaware federal courtroom Tuesday. FBI Special Agent Erika Jensen acknowledged the provenance of the notorious MacBook Pro that Hunter Biden abandoned at a computer repair shop in April 2019. This is the same laptop, filled to the brim with fresh evidence of the first son’s felonies, seized by the FBI in December of that year. The G-men and the Justice Department sat on the device until the statute of limitations expired on the most significant crimes contained therein. This is the same laptop that 51 former intelligence officials swore was “Russian disinformation” on the eve of the 2020 election.

Do not expect the radical left to survey the wreckage of socialism and communism in history and accept that statism impoverishes people and erodes their freedoms. There will never be admissions by our elite that progressivism exists mainly for the acquisition of power by the utopian and virtue-signaling few, who ensure that they are never subject to the baleful implementation of their ideological agendas on the rest of us. Still, leftists look around at what they have done to America in the last four years and implicitly know that the plan did not work, the people detested it, or both.

The Democrats finally got their ounce of Donald Trump’s flesh in a Manhattan courtroom last week but like Shakespeare’s Antonio in “The Merchant of Venice,” the bloodlust may be their own undoing. The guilty verdict should be reversed by the New York appellate or federal courts and likely will be at some point — but perhaps only after the clear election interference objective of the Democrats has been met. Never before have state prosecutors charged a defendant with federal election reporting violations (state courts don’t have jurisdiction) and never have non-disclosure agreements been found by a jury in any criminal trial to be a reportable federal campaign expenditure.

They also dutifully recited Democrat talking points intended to scare the party’s base into rallying behind the deeply unpopular Biden.
