No person with a loved one who has suffered through addiction could feel anything but empathy for Hunter Biden and his family. “There are a lot of Hunter Bidens in this world, people who fell in way over their heads, who long for someone to believe they can recover and construct their lives differently,”

Bless her heart. Years ago, I enjoyed reading her stuff; she’s just crazy now.

I tried to read this even though I knew what was coming. As you have guessed, I couldn’t get too far into this whining drivel. These commies always keep trying to get something positive about bad news for their favorite communist. Oh well, I have more important things to do today than read something in the WaPo.

Rubin used to pretend to be a conservative, and claimed to value the rule of law. Clearly, DC she was just a fraud, playing an assigned role. She's completely exposed her evil, corrupt, ethics-free true nature. A total political whore.

Jennifer Rubin, like Nicole Wallace, et al, is the literal definition of a tool. She's a useful idiot for the left who thinks she's really deep and important because she's getting pats on the head from "all the right people". They'll come to an end of usefulness for her and she will, like so many dolts before her, be discarded. She's just one of the flavors of the month right now.

Couldn’t make it all the way through this drivel. These days, I can only shake my head as I realize that liberals live in an entirely different world, with their own language, rules, and reality. But, this article has served the purpose of the guilty verdict in the Hunter Biden case, and that is for liberals to be able to crow that the justice system is not rigged. They know what the American people see in the Trump lawfare persecutions. They desperately needed a narrative that dispelled that notion. That’s the sole reason. And, that’s why, out of everything he could’ve been charged with, that also implicated his father, they went for the gun charge. They are as shrewd as can be, and evil to core.

Sorry, don't see that at all. The Bidens could have got out front acknowledged Hunter had an addiction problem and used the presidential podium to warn about the dangers of drugs. Instead, they never talked about it, had the media cover it up, and even refused to acknowledge a granddaughter. The Bidens handled it wrong in every way possible. Why? Because half their supporters want drugs legalized, and some of the Democrats are probably on cartel payrolls. What's really sad is the author of this article is still covering for Biden. Meanwhile a sizable chunk of the American populace blindly believes every word that comes out of lefty mouths.

Sympathy for Hunter Biden? Or any of the Biden Family? I and my family have suffered through life without betraying our friends, family, or each other. We aren't rich, but we know whom we trust and love. The Biden can discuss their hardships and responses in the afterlife. They and their "friends" can ride a sinking ship into the Maianna Trench for all I care.

No greater illustration of the two-tier justice system; Anyone who is not politically-connected is sent to prison for buying, selling, using, possessing cocaine. A Biden get's ''treatment'' which doesn't seem to ever work. And the son of Senator/Vice President/President Biden who advocates strict gun control for all of us peasants, doesn't seem to think that it applies to his family members. Lying on background check paperwork is a Federal felony. Abandoning a gun across the street from a school is also a felony. These are laws that Biden imposed on the rest of us, but wants to exempt his own family members. Biden also constantly whines about the wealthy ''not paying their fair share'', yet here is his son evading taxes on millions of dollars of ill-gotten gains from foreign sources. Again, the rules don't apply to a Biden. The press feeling sorry for this family of criminal trash is getting rather old.

A good question is why did Hunter need such a handgun in the first place? Obviously to enhance his safety when he was engaging in the criminal activity of purchasing illegal drugs from criminal drug dealers.

Washington— President Joe Biden’s reelection campaign is spending $50 million through the end of June, a blitz that includes its first television ad trumpeting Donald Trump’s felony conviction and signals that the Democratic incumbent is seeking to make his Republican opponent’s legal woes a bigger issue heading into November. The advertising push comes with Election Day still months away. But Biden’s campaign says it wants to more clearly define the choice between the candidates ahead of the first debate between them in Atlanta on June 27. The ad campaign includes more than $1 million geared toward media reaching Black, Hispanic and Asian American voters and a spot highlighting Trump’s conviction on 34

Nearly every time President Joe Biden appears in public these days, he fuels the chatter: Will aging Joe bow out of the 2024 race? Will he be forced to step aside? In the latest incident, former president Barack Obama was seen on Saturday reaching for Biden's hand and seemingly guiding the 81-year-old Commander-in-Chief off the stage at a Los Angeles fundraiser. And that came after Biden stood motionless and stared blankly for a full minute at a Juneteenth celebration at the White House on Monday, as others sang and danced around him. Eventually,

Dr. Robert Redfield, former director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), has issued a grim prediction that the next major pandemic will be caused by the bird flu. “I really do think it’s very likely that we will, at some time—it’s not a question of if, it’s more a question of when—we will have a bird flu pandemic,” Dr. Redfield told NewsNation in an interview published on June 14. The former CDC director said the bird flu, when it enters humans, has a “significant” mortality.

Senator Cory Booker (D-NJ) said Sunday on MSNBC’s “Inside” that former President Donald Trump did not love America. Host Jen Psaki said, “I’m sure you are aware of the controversy that broke out over some comments that Trump made about Milwaukee, which is hosting the Republican convention coming up later this summer. He reportedly called Milwaukee a horrible city. He called Washington a filthy and crime-ridden embarrassment. He has called Chicago worse than Afghanistan. He once called Baltimore a disgusting rat and rodent infested mess. These are America’s cities.

If you thought that the effort to make Pete Buttigieg into a thing has waned or diminished in light of his tenure as Secretary of Transportation, think again. CBS Sunday Morning leveraged a treacly Father’s Day profile of Transportation Pete Buttigieg and husband Chasten into an infomercial hyping a 2028 presidential run. Watch the end of the interview, as correspondent Jonathan Vigliotti asks the presidential question, and elicits an emotional response from Buttigieg:(Video) JONATHAN VIGLIOTTI: Is there a world where you see Penelope and Gus living in The White House in 2029? PETE BUTTIGIEG: I don't know about that. That's just not how I'm thinking about even the near future.

People of a certain age will remember the name “Donald Segretti.” In the 1972 re-election campaign of President Richard Nixon, this youthful campaign aide made the phrase “dirty tricks” part of the American political lexicon. Segretti’s mischief included sending embarrassing letters under the names of Nixon’s political rivals. Although his dirty tricks had little or no effect on the election’s outcome, Segretti served four and a half months in prison. With Segretti’s four and a half months as a baseline, the 51-plus dirty tricksters who conspired successfully to get Joe Biden elected president in 2020 would seem to deserve no less. Confident to a fault about

Los Angeles— Some of Hollywood’s brightest stars headlined a glitzy fundraiser for President Joe Biden on Saturday night, helping raise what his reelection campaign said was $28 million and hoping to energize would-be supporters for a November election that they argued was among the most important in the nation’s history. George Clooney, Julia Roberts and Barbra Streisand were among those who took the stage at the 7,100-seat Peacock Theater in Los Angeles. Late-night host Jimmy Kimmel interviewed Biden and former President Barack Obama, who both stressed the need to defeat former President Donald Trump in a race that’s expected to be exceedingly close.

This week, Attorney General Merrick Garland took to the pages of the Washington Post to lash out at critics who are spreading what he considers “conspiracy theories crafted and spread for the purpose of undermining public trust in the judicial process itself.” His column, titled “Unfounded attacks on the Justice Department must end,” missed the point. It is Garland himself who has become the problem. The solution is in Wilmington, Delaware, where 12 average citizens just showed a commitment to the rule of law that seems to be harder and harder for the attorney general to meet.

The chirp of cicadas in the tree-lined streets of Evanston is almost deafening. Billions of the insects have been making their periodic emergence from underground dormancy, on a scale not seen for centuries. With the ground strewn with dead bugs, and gardeners rushing to put protective netting around their plants and trees, locals have dubbed it ‘The Cicada-geddon’. And yet this quiet university town – an affluent suburb of Chicago on the shores of Lake Michigan – now has another interloper that its ultra-liberal citizens deeply resent. Three years after Evanston proudly became the first local government in the US to start paying reparations to its black citizens – in this case

What’s happening with black women in America? Some are rising to power thanks to the DEI movement, which rewards skin color, gender, and sexual preference over merit, experience, or excellence. However, the problem arises once those women who are not qualified are placed in positions of power and leadership, where they often quickly crash and burn. From embezzling $15 million in COVID funds to engaging in shameless plagiarism, these meritless women have demonstrated that they are not up to the task and struggle with the responsibilities they’ve been given. Naturally, they revert to what they know best: lying, cheating, and stealing.
