OK, let’s get this out of the way. The core trio of The Rolling Stones are old, pretty darn old -- even if 80 is the new 70. [SNIP] During his moments of banter, Jagger referenced the 22-year gap between Cleveland shows and the band’s first local show at Public Hall in 1964. He also shouted out the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame and suggested that everyone in attendance vote in the big U.S. election in November. “It may be the last time you get to vote,” he said ominously, drawing murmurs from the crowd.

The Stones formed in 1962. Alice Cooper (the band) launched in 1968. Alice (the singer) has stated that he intends to perform for a longer duration than Jagger, so the good news is that we get at least 6 more years of that great live show after Mick calls it quits.

"Hey (hey) you (you) get off of my lawn!" More than thirty years ago Sam Kinison said that in 150 years all life on earth will be dead except for Keith Richards and five cockroaches. Keith will turn to the nearest roach and say, "I smoked yer grandfather." Long live the Rolling Stones.

#3 - Political...? . “...It may be the last time you get to vote..." Maybe not, it could be the reality of old age setting in. In all seriousness, though, those people at the concert will be voting long after assuming room temperature.

Contemplate the fact that these guys are the same age as our Resident Husk (as is Paul McCartney). The level of energy they exude compared to biden is light-years apart. In the Stones case 80 may well be the new 70 ~ let's hope so since I'm in my mid 70s. In biden's case 81 is the new 101. Hear that Jill? It's time to do the right thing for the man you claim to love.

Sounds like it was an amazing show. These guys are great entertainers, real troopers like the stars of old such as Bob Hope and Bing Crosby who kept at their craft. They are loyal to their fans. I really loved their T-shirt, "Don't Mess With Old People, We Didn't Get This Way By Being Stupid." Proud of their ages and can still put on a hell of show, they cheekily have their tour sponsored by the American Association of Retired Persons. LOL. Love those guys! Being a native of Los Angeles I saw a tons of bands, but I never saw the Stones. Dang! Rock on, boys! Rock on!

Saw a stand-up comic a few years back who told of the time he began balding. His doctor said to quit using any drugs - he did, to no avail. His doctor then told him to quit smoking - same outcome. The doctor then told him to stop drinking. A bald basket case by now, it suddenly occurred to him: "KEITH RICHARDS HAS A FULL HEAD OF HAIR!"

Public TV just showed a Stones concert from 2012. It was awful. They were off key and rarely played together at times. Mick's voice was not that great, and this concert was recorded twelve years earlier. What they sound like now I can only imagine. I certainly wouldn't pay money to see them now. I sat at stage level at a Stones concert in 1972. That is how I want to remember them. Not eighty-year-old guys still trying to act and sing like they're in their twenties.

And Mexican drug cartels are operating vile human smuggling operations over the southern border with near impunity. On Tuesday, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) apprehended eight alleged ISIS operatives in Los Angeles, New York City and Philadelphia. The thread tying all of these imminent public safety and national security threats together is a runway illegal immigration crisis exposing America to an invasion of 'ghost' criminals, paramilitary foot soldiers and potential terrorists.
