Hunter Biden became the first child of a sitting president to be convicted of a crime Tuesday after a federal jury found him guilty of lying about his drug use in order to buy a gun.
The panel of six men and six women deliberated for three hours across two days before convicting the 54-year-old of making a false statement in the purchase of a firearm, making a false statement related to information required to be kept by a federally licensed firearms dealer, and possession of a firearm by an unlawful user of or addict to a controlled substance.

Guilty...But Dr. Joe said before he would not pardon his son. Here is my prediction, Biden will pardon Hunter and Trump, then suspend his reelection bid.

Hunter will never see the inside of a jail cell. His daddy will commute any sentence right after the election.

See? The justice system works, so it's not targeting front-runner Trump over politics. /S

I believe this was all brought about for the purpose of trying to present a contrast of how The Bidens and the left respond to a guilty verdict, versus Trump and the right. They are trying to make him look "above it all". Like everything with the left, they are hoping to use this to manipulate people and pro up Joe. Obviously, Hunter is actually guilty of a crime, unlike Hunter, but that doesn't matter to them. They've found something they thing they can use to their advantage. And Hunter, once again, takes the hit for "the big guy".

The jurors are targets of the Biden crime family. They better move out of Delaware and assume new identities.

only time hunter will "face jail" is when he is standing in front of one and looking at it.

You or I would face years in prison. This drug addict will get thirty days probation.
This whole deal is a desperate attempt at showing "fairness" in a totally corrupt, political system.

The pardon is already written, signed, dated today and delivered to Abbe Lowell to be presented at the appropriate time. Can’t have Joe departing this world or going completely buggers before he can get that done.

Agree that this justifies putting Trump in jail. But The Hunt will get sentenced to a Club Fed for 1 week, then pardoned by Daddy for all crimes - previous and future.

Yeah #15 --- everyone in the Biden Crime Family lies all the time; it's as natural to them as breathing. I don't think they could find the truth with a compass.
I wonder if joe and jill ever have a moment of self-awareness where it becomes clear to them that their parenting "skills" turned their children into the dysfunctional people they are today. I assume if they do know they don't really care.
If Hunter wasn't such an appalling person I could feel sorry for him.

So he's been found guilty. Doesn't anyone think this is a bogus crime in the first place? Why should being an addict make purchasing a gun illegal?

Hunter took one for the "team". By being convicted on his gun crime and his upcoming tax evasion case, Hunter takes the focus off the rest of the crooked Biden clan during the election. His conviction also takes the focus off of Joe's blunders and continual mix ups for a week or two. Anything to get Joe reelected!

I think it was Andy McCarthy who floated the idea of a Presidential pardon followed by accusations of abuse of power from both parties, then a mea culpa from the loving father who would say he'd do it again, and finally - his resignation. Convicted felon Hunter avoids prison and the dems conveniently get rid of their problem candidate. Win-win.

Biden will get probation for this and probably a large fine. His bigger issue is the tax evasion charges. The plea deal he was offered included jail time so he rejected it. Now he’s faced with going into the trial as a convicted felon. His attorneys are going to work hard to get him to accept a plea. Otherwise he’s looking at a lot of years. He’s dealing with federal prosecutors now, not some Soros funded political hack who invented charges.

Guilty, yes.... on the relatively small stuff. What about bribery and corruption at the highest levels with Red China, Ukraine, and other countries?

This was for the purchase of the revolver that got pitched in a dumpster. What about charges for the semi auto he is holding, finger on the trigger, in all the naked photos of him ? How did he acquire it, and where is it now ?

Next up, tax evasion trial in September, right before the election. It would appear that Hunter failed to pay his "fair share".

quid pro joe has said repeatedly that he would not pardon hunter. He didnt say a word about commuting any sentence that he might get though. AND hunters judge fairly recently gave another person 1 year for the same crime.

I'm guessing a few months of house arrest, and a small fine. Then on November 6th, Senile Joe will pardon him from even that "slap on the wrist" punishment...
