On Wednesday’s broadcast of Newsmax TV’s “The Record,” Harvard Law Professor Alan Dershowitz urged the students who have blamed Israel for the Hamas terrorist attacks against it to go volunteer in Gaza, especially members of groups representing gay and transgender students for Palestine. He also argued that the willingness of these groups to overlook Hamas’ treatment of women, gay people, and transgender people is the “best proof that this is all antisemitism” because “these protestors are willing to give them a pass on these core issues, as long as they also hate Jews and the nation-state of the Jewish people.”

EXCLUSIVE: The FBI maintained more than 40 confidential human sources on various criminal matters related to the Biden family, including Joe Biden, dating back to his time as vice president, according to information obtained by Sen. Chuck Grassley, R-Iowa.
The confidential human sources "provided criminal information to the FBI relating to Joe Biden, James Biden, and Hunter Biden." Those confidential human sources were managed by multiple FBI field offices across the nation, including the FBI’s Seattle Field Office. But Grassley learned that an FBI task force within the Washington Field Office sought to, and in some cases, successfully, shut down reporting and information from those sources by falsely discrediting

Before Louisiana Rep. Mike Johnson officially became Speaker of the House on Wednesday, there was the seven-person pre-game panel on CNN’s Inside Politics. One of those panelists, senior political analyst Gloria Borger, was forced to concede that despite being “hugely conservative,” Johnson is “not the devil incarnate.”
Borger’s remarks as she recalled Reps. Jim Jordan and Tom Emmer’s failed bids, “I think he is a person who’s hard to demonize. You know, it's very easy to demonize somebody like a Jim Jordan, who’s a fire brand. He's out there and fighting and then Donald Trump can demonize an [Tom] Emmer because he didn't believe the election was rigged.”

The House of Representatives overwhelmingly passed a resolution in support of Israel on Wednesday following terrorist attacks on the country by Hamas that began on Oct. 7.
House Resolution 771, titled “Standing with Israel as it defends itself against the barbaric war launched by Hamas and other terrorists,” condemns Hamas for beginning an “unprovoked war on Israel” and accuses them of “slaughtering Israelis and abducting hostages in towns in southern Israel, including children and the elderly.” After the House elected Republican Rep. Mike Johnson of Louisiana’s 4th District as its speaker following a three-week deadlock over the position, the resolution was quickly brought to the floor

Democrats had an utter meltdown after House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) was unanimously elected by the Republican majority to lead the House of Representatives, the first Republican to be unanimously elected by his conference since 2011.
According to an emailed statement posted to X by Punch Bowl News founder Jake Sherman, President Joe Biden’s 2024 campaign strongly condemned the election of Johnson, despite Biden’s congratulations in an official statement from the White House. “MAGA Mike Johnson’s ascension to the speakership cements the extreme MAGA takeover of the House Republican Conference,” Ammar Moussa, a spokesman for the Biden campaign, said in a statement.

Mike Johnson might have been an obscure, four-term congressmember before Wednesday, but if Democrats have their way, he will soon be well-known by every American — as an election denier, an anti-abortion extremist and a slasher of Social Security and Medicare.
Johnson hadn’t officially been elected speaker before the Democratic opposition research machinery went full tilt. Democrats have spent the last few days sifting through old shows from Johnson’s time as a podcast host and previously authored editorials in his local newspaper.

New York—The judge in Donald Trump’s civil fraud trial fined the former president $10,000 on Wednesday, saying Trump violated a limited gag order barring personal attacks on court staffers.
The fine came after Trump was called to the witness stand to explain his comment outside the courtroom about “a person who’s very partisan sitting alongside” the judge in the case, Judge Arthur Engoron.Weeks ago, Engoron ordered all participants in the trial not to comment publicly about his staff. The narrow gag order imposed on Oct. 3 came after Trump made a social media post maligning the judge’s principal law clerk, who sits beside Engoron in court.

Newly elected Speaker of the House Mike Johnson (R-LA) is a strong advocate of the House’s impeachment inquiry into President Joe Biden for his involvement in the Biden family business.
During a September House floor speech, Johnson eloquently articulated three reasons to justify the inquiry initially launched by former Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-CA):
There are three irrefutable facts that have taken us to this point: Number one, President Biden lied directly to the American people. Number two, President Biden’s family and their associates profited millions through shell companies. Number three, President Biden’s federal agencies are stonewalling our legitimate congressional inquiry.

Johnson, 51, is regarded as an intellectual, and a family man, and his success rescued the House from an ongoing state of chaos. On Tuesday, he became his party's fourth choice for House Speaker nominee in just three weeks after the historic ousting of Kevin McCarthy earlier this month.

The final roll-call vote saw Johnson land 220 votes while Democrat Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY) received 209. Needing only a simple majority, Johnson easily secured his victory as previous opposition to House Republicans' speaker-designees vanished entirely on the first ballot of Johnson's bid.

The story about why Israel has yet to make a ground invasion of Gaza is becoming clear, and it is yet another embarrassment for the United States under Joe Biden.
Israel has been prepared to enter Gaza to eliminate Hamas, but the ground invasion keeps getting delayed. The reason why?
The US is unprepared to defend US military installations in the area. This is pathetic. Absolutely pathetic. However, I am not sure that the Biden Administration isn’t just pressuring Israel to delay for other reasons as well, given their neverending expressions of concern for Gaza.
Israel has agreed, for now, to a request from the U.S.

It is becoming even more difficult to believe Iran's claims that it was not involved in Hamas' attack against Israel. A new Wall Street Journal report has surfaced further highlighting Iran’s role in the planning and execution of the terrorist organizations’ surprise attack against southern Israel on October 7, which started the current war in the Middle East. The report suggests that Hamas fighters, along with operatives from other terrorist groups, received “specialized” combat training in Iran just weeks before the assault.
This revelation shatters any lingering doubts about Iran’s role in bringing about the attack, which killed over 1,000 Israelis, many of whom were noncombatants.

After Rep. Tom Emmer (R-Minn.) withdrew from the race for House Speaker mere hours after being nominated by the House GOP, Republicans had to scramble to pick a replacement.
And so they did. GOP Conference Vice Chair Mike Johnson (R-La.) won the latest round of secret ballot voting in the GOP caucus, and, unlike previous nominees Reps. Steve Scalise (R-La.), Jim Jordan (R-Ohio), and Emmer, there is overwhelming optimism that the GOP has finally found a speaker-designee whom the party can all rally behind and get elected as speaker.

In major cities in Texas, Trump is being outraised by DeSantis and Haley. In Houston, Dallas, and Austin, DeSantis and Haley easily outraise Trump. TALLAHASSEE, Fla. — Florida’s university system chancellor, responding to a push by Gov. Ron DeSantis, directed state universities Tuesday to disband campus groups with ties to the national Students for Justice in Palestine organization, marking the first punishments handed down to colleges here amid the Israel-Hamas war.
In a memo to school leaders, the state ordered a “crack down” on campus events led by the pro-Palestinian organization that the DeSantis administration claims amount to “harmful support for terrorist groups” like Hamas, which attacked Israel in early October. Florida, under Republican presidential candidate DeSantis, has staunchly supported Israel during the ongoing war and was monitoring college protests that have since ignited.

Israel Defense Forces (IDF) international spokesman Jonathan Conricus told CNN host Wolf Blitzer that despite concerns raised by humanitarian groups, there is fuel in Gaza — but like everything else in Gaza, it is controlled by Hamas and will not be used to aid struggling civilians. (snip) The UN’s Palestinian refugee agency shared a dire warning on Tuesday, saying that all relief operations in Gaza would come to a halt by Wednesday night if they were unable to get fuel. “These fuel tanks are inside Gaza. They contain more than 500,000 liters of fuel." (snip) the IDF replied, sharing an aerial photo of the tanks.

A woman who was pumped with testosterone and underwent hormone therapy when she was a young teenager is suing both her doctors and the American Academy of Pediatrics, which her lawyers say has knowingly lied about the impact of the radical sex-change treatments it recommends, (snip)
Isabelle Ayala, now a twenty-year-old woman, had just turned fourteen when she was committed to the hospital for suicidal thoughts, according to the lawsuit. Like an ignorant radical madrassa in some benighted fist-waving burg like Mogadishu or Kabul, George Washington University has allowed presumably students to project Jew-hating pro-Hamas statements on the wall of one of its august buildings in the heart of Washington, D.C. [Snip for tweet] "Glory to our martyrs"? "Divestment from Zionist genocide now"? "Free Palestine from the river to the sea"?
Had enough?
There's more. Adding insult to injury, check out the building they chose to spew their sickening Hamas slogans on:

It is perhaps the fate of startling wisdom to become a repeated cliche. This is certainly what has happened to Arendt’s formulation regarding the ‘banality of evil’. What was a remarkable insight into the mediocrity and insignificance of men capable of astonishing evils (and hence the capacity of anyone of us to do the same) gradually became part of the furniture of discussions on totalitarianism. And like furniture, we would sit on it without paying it much attention.
So yes, we all knew that Himmler was a failed chicken farmer. We all knew that much of the architecture of evil was conducted by little grey men with little grey souls.

A new study out of Norway is exactly what was needed to shut down the climate alarmists. Its findings show that man has not set fire to his home planet.
Right from the top, in the abstract not 10 lines into the study, the authors get to the point.
“Using theoretical arguments and statistical tests we find,” the researchers say, “that the effect of man-made CO2 emissions does not appear to be strong enough to cause systematic changes in the temperature fluctuations during the last 200 years.”
In other words, our words, the greenhouse effect is so weak

In Southeastern Louisiana, in St. Tammany Parish (of the original ‘Florida Parishes’), Attorney General Jeff Landry just won by a landslide in the race for the incoming governor of Louisiana.
Louisiana is, if you credit the MSM, considered one of the ‘worst’ states in the U.S., for just about anything but food. Yet, one can find extant, ‘diverse’ culture, personal freedom; there is also, in practice, widespread colorblindness -- or at least indifference -- to race in large areas of Louisiana, where the Democratic Party does not rule the roost.

The United States is “more vulnerable from inside terror attacks than at any time in its history,” former President Donald Trump said on Tuesday following a memo from the San Diego Field Office Intelligence Division of Customs and Border Protection (CBP) warning that members of terrorist groups — namely Hamas, Hezbollah, and Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) — could be encountered at the porous southern border.
“With the millions of people that Crooked Joe Biden has allowed into the United States through his ridiculous Open Borders Policy, mostly young men, and large numbers of TERRORISTS, the U.S. is more vulnerable from inside terror attacks than at any time in its history,

In the rat race for 'most rodent-infested city' Chicago has taken the top spot for its ninth year in a row beating Los Angeles and New York.
Pest control company Orkin looked at the number of rodent treatments performed on both residential and commercial buildings in the past 12 months and declared the city in Illinois as the most rodent-infested city for 2023.
Los Angeles came in second and most surprisingly New York City trailed closely behind at third. Meanwhile, Washington DC and San Francisco, remained in their same positions as last year in the top five.

The Middle East is on fire. Eastern Europe is gridlocked in war. America’s southern border looks like a scene out of “Mad Max.” And Southeast Asia is a tinderbox that could ignite with one wrong move. After four years of expanding peace under President Donald Trump, President Joe Biden is presiding over a world careening toward mayhem. “Mean tweets and world peace” has a nice ring to it. But it’s also worth exploring why Trump’s unorthodox approach to foreign affairs produced such markedly better results than Biden’s heralded return to normalcy.

FIRST ON FOX: As Ohio voters prepare to decide on sweeping changes to the state's abortion laws, Republican Gov. Mike DeWine has uncharacteristically jumped into the debate with both feet.[Snip]"It would allow abortion at any point in the pregnancy," [Snip]"We have a law that says that you have to have parental consent in regard to a minor getting an abortion that would be knocked out by this constitutional amendment as well. So it would put Ohio in a small category of the most permissive states in the union in regard to abortion. I just don't think it fits Ohio. It's not who we are. It's not where we are."

Nelson Peltz is an interesting man. He's often labeled as an activist investor, but in truth, it's a term he hates.
He earned that reputation through his company, Trian Partners, buying up incredible amounts of stock in once-great companies that have lost their way and then giving them a choice. They can either go with his plan to get things back on track voluntarily, or he can begin capturing board seats and force the plan to happen anyway. Peltz prefers the former, but he's ready to go with the latter strategy any time.

In a dramatic reversal, Hollywood’s writers union has apologized for refusing to condemn the Hamas terror attacks in Israel that have left 1,400 dead, with union leaders issuing a public message of contrition Tuesday following several days of mounting pressure from within its own ranks.
In an e-mail to members obtained by multiple outlets, Writers Guild of America, West leaders apologized for the “tremendous pain” they caused by refusing to condemn the mass murder of Jews despite the guild’s history of taking controversial political stances, including support for Black Lives Matter and endorsing Joe Biden’s presidential campaign in 2020.

The shock waves of the Oct. 7 massacre have reverberated through American institutions of higher education. In response to Hamas’ attack — which killed more than 1,300 Israelis, most of them civilians — student groups supported Hamas before the blood dried, while universities quickly retreated into corporate vagueness.
The reaction was swift. Major donors closed their checkbooks. Academics decried the “moral failure of a liberal education.” Law firms rescinded offers of employment.
Unlike many other alumni of these institutions, my reaction is not anger or criticism or rage, but rather gratitude. I just want to say: thank you.

Three years ago I was among the first--and certainly the first Bishop--to denounce pandemic and vaccination fraud. Expressed with arguments that today emerge as true and well-founded are the critical issues and immorality of an experimental gene treatment, which aborted fetuses were and are used to produce.[Snip]Their silence on the pandemic fraud is identical to that on the apostasy of the Catholic Hierarchy. And the moral responsibility that weighs on them will remain as an indelible stain for which they will have to answer to God, to men, and to History.
