This from CNBC -
“On Tuesday, as Johnson was in the running to be speaker, the political team of former Rep. Liz Cheney, R-Wyo., circulated a New York Times article that called the Louisiana Republican “the most important architect of the Electoral College objections” on Jan. 6, 2021, aimed at keeping then-President Donald Trump in power even though he lost.”

A ringing endorsement in my opinion. (This is based on the theory of inverse truth, whereby one simply takes the slant, cant and propagandaizing found in the MSM and assumes its opposite to be true.)

From Fox -
Rep. Matt Gaetz, R-Fla., who led the effort to oust former House Speaker Kevin McCarthy, has joined in a chorus of Republicans supporting the new House speaker nominee, Rep. Mike Johnson, R-La.
After Republicans spent most of Tuesday behind closed doors selecting Johnson as the new GOP speaker candidate, Gaetz praised him as a "good godly man who's going to advance Republicans." The Florida Republican also told a group of reporters that his colleague is the "best possible candidate" as the GOP looks to finally elect a speaker after McCarthy was voted out of the position three weeks ago.

74% is good, 94% would have been better.

When his name came up I googled him. The RINOS hate him. I can definitely approve since Jordan is out. I just don't trust Byron Donalds because the Leftist media isn't trying to bring him down.

What's with 'The Hill' and their tying certain candidates back to their support of Trump and his fight over the 2020 election. You'd think 'The Hill' disapproved of candidates that supported the former President or had his endorsement, kind of like RINO's!

Am cautiously optimistic. I remembered him after I watched the videos in the article. He is a very smart, conservative man. I loved the video when he was questioning Mayorkus. It was good to see him pin him down and watch Mayorkus squirm. I hope he is our new Speaker.

My hope is that the 25 or so RINO holdouts will be smart enough to realize the damage their obstinance has caused them. Don Bacon is finished in Nebraska. I hope he is dumb enough to think supporting Johnson will earn him points with his constituents. It won’t, but he is enough of a narcissist to think it will.

Have to believe that the anger between the McCarthy and Jordan factions has been used up and everyone is ready to elect a new Speaker and get back to impeaching Biden.

Interesting to see the liberal Hill's take on Johnson (mostly his opposition to pro-LGBTQ coddling) as contrasted with the information on Johnson submitted by Mark Wauck, posted a short while ago...

Re the comment about Byron Donalds, ignorance or naivete? The Liberal media will find him but be torn because he's black.
