Former President Donald Trump reiterated his support for applying the death penalty to drug dealers in a bid to curb the illicit trafficking of narcotics in the United States.
Speaking on the "Cats at Night" program with host John Catsimatidis, the former president blamed the Biden administration for an unprecedented surge of both illegal migration and illicit drug trafficking at the U.S. border with Mexico.
"They opened up the border, day one, they opened up the border," he said, adding that "through open borders come drugs... and the drugs have never been as bad as they are now."

... but ... as long as North Americans want drugs, poor people will bring them at the risk of the death penalty, .... and if drugs were legalized, that will not help... the smugglers would offer worse things.... what is needed is for North Americans to grow a conscience. Just stop this. If you are torn up inside then give forgiveness, ask forgiveness, learn to pray, go to Confession. Instead of paying poor people to smuggle you stuff at the risk of lives and societies.

How about the same for the users? It's their deep pockets and an insatiable demand that make this all profitable. Works in most Islamic countries Public caning for anyone under 18. Anything less and you're not serious about eradicating drug abuse.

It cannot be that hard to find the drug factories that are producing this stuff. I say bomb them and systematically eradicate all who are involved with the production and sale of these lethal drugs. There's got to be some money from the Cartels going into the pockets of politicians or this would have been done a long time ago. I heard that 300 people are dying every day in the state of TN from overdoses of Opiods.
I think that the Mother Theresa's of the world could solve this problem easily. These drug addicts need care and hope.

This has become a national security issue. It’s time to use whatever means possible to go after the cartel heads. Send in the military, maybe the Seals, to start taking out the heads of these cartels one by one. Show no mercy.
It’s pretty clear that China is behind the drug trafficking. They are using drugs to destroy our country. While they supply it to the cartels, the cartels in turn traffic it to this country which Joe Biden has made easy to do with his open border policy. We can’t go after China because that would start a world war, but we can and should target each cartel head. Make them live in fear.

I don't believe drug trafficking can be stopped in a free society, but at least the government could make it far less profitable if they'd stop subsidizing prices with welfare wealth transfer, and stop propping up prices with the phony War On Drugs. Close the borders, get rid of the DEA, get rid of welfare. If you choose to be a drug bum, you get nothing from the taxpayers. Talking about the death penalty is a silly waste of time.

Trump is right again, fentanyl is killing many tens of thousands of addicted Americans a year including teenagers and other young people who do not even know that they are ingesting or even touching such dangerous drugs. If the USA were to execute fentanyl dealers it would not be long after a hundred or so of them were executed and highly publicized that common sense will tell you that fentanyl dealers will be as rare as hen’s teeth.
Going further you have to ask why the USA is not using kinetic warfare operations in the form of air and ground strikes in Mexico to destroy the Mexican cartel operations there, as it is clear that China by manufacturing dangerous drugs such as fentanyl and the Mexican criminal cartels by compounding, disguising, and smuggling fentanyl and the like into the USA, and then distributing those dangerous drugs out of the huge Mexican communities that have been established across the USA and into US communities, are conducting a form of asymmetrical warfare against the American people, and the USA, by flooding the USA with unlawful dangerous drugs such as fentanyl and the like, and being complicit in killing tens of thousands of US citizens. Common sense will tell you that a lot of people in high places, both in Mexico and the USA are being paid off to allow all that to continue.
