There are a host of reasons why the Left is absolutely determined to force Americans out of their privately owned, gasoline-powered cars and trucks and into unreliable public transportation and costly Electric Vehicles (EVs), none of which have to do with “saving the environment.”
The central reason the Left loves EVs is that the process of forcing Americans to convert to electric-powered transportation will destroy forever the incredible freedom and prosperity associated with privately owned gas-powered vehicles. The future will instead be centrally controlled by rich elitists and their corrupt politicians, power-hungry bureaucrats, and ideologically driven “experts.”

President Joe Biden got confused while delivering a speech promoting Democrat candidates in Pennsylvania on Tuesday.
“Please please elect the Attorney General to the Senate, and elect that big ol’ boy to be governor,” Biden asked voters in the audience. Biden was clearly mistaken about what office each candidate was running for.
The attorney general is Josh Shapiro, running to be governor and the “big ol’ boy” is Lt Gov. John Fetterman, who is running for the Senate. Earlier in his speech, the president got it right as he praised Shapiro, who was present for the event.
“He’s going to make one hell of a governor,” Biden said, referring

President Joe Biden screamed, “I am determined to ban assault weapons in this country!” during a Tuesday speech in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania.
Biden segued to “assault weapons” by talking about passing Sen. John Cornyn’s (R-TX) gun control package this summer. He built toward a crescendo as he claimed “the vast majority” of Republican members of Congress could not support Cornyn’s gun control because the NRA was against it.
Biden said, “Law enforcement supported [the ban], faith leaders and teachers supported it, young people in this country, like the students in this great university, support it, and the NRA and the vast majority of Congressional Republicans voted against it. But guess what,

Christmas trees and other festive products have already surfaced at stores across the US four months ahead of the holiday - a premature start to the shopping season that comes as Americans feeling the strain of inflation look to stretch their budgets.
Shoppers were surprised this month when photos of the trees popped up on social media - causing many to question why the evergreens, commonly associated with the holidays, were being shilled in the dog days of summer.
Costco, Sam's Club, and Walmart were among the several stores to stage the seemingly premature displays in August - with hardware giant Home Depot rolling out holiday items as early as mid-July.

On the heels of the “drain the swamp” populism of the Trump presidency, America once again has an executive branch that gleefully builds bureaucratic excess, with supersizing the IRS among the “victories” of the Biden administration. That bureaucratic-versus-populist tension isn’t just a product of the modern administrative state, though that has certainly exacerbated it. More than 100 years ago, in response to similar overreach and excess, Grover Cleveland brought chopping-block populism into the Oval Office.
In many ways, Cleveland was the ideal American leader. Headstrong, morally courageous, and brutally honest, he served as a bulwark against government overreach and political corruption. But because he wasn’t in office during a war

As November approaches, a distinct and coordinated attempt by the media to paint Democrats as resurgent has occurred. If you pay attention to the election analysts, Dobbs has completely changed the game, making Joe Biden’s party a heavy favorite to keep the Senate and putting the House in play.
How much of that is based on anything empirical? The answer is not much. Yes, the generic ballot tightened in early August, but the Democrats quickly lost their lead, with Republicans gaining about two points from mid-August onward. Still, a closer environment doesn’t mean one that the GOP is set to lose in, and that’s become lost on far too many people.

Cole, who is now 18, feels more like she’s just awoken from “a nightmare,” and she’s disappointed with the medical and school system that fast-tracked her to gender transition surgery.

President Joe Biden's plan to forgive at least $10,000 in student loans has divided Americans and even members of his own Democratic party, raising tough questions about the scheme's cost, popularity and even over its legality.
The White House has not yet stated what the overall cost of the debt write-off will be, but estimates start in the region of $300 billion and some even exceed $1 trillion, making it one of the costliest executive actions in history.
This raises troubling questions about how the scheme works, how much it will really cost, who will pay for it, whether the American public wants it,

Republican Mississippi Gov. Tate Reeves is set to declare a state of emergency as Jackson residents are being warned not to drink the water after the city’s main water treatment facility failed Monday.
Reeves is set to declare the emergency as more than 180,000 residents are being told to not drink the tap water, according to CNN. (Tweet) While residents deal with record rainfall and flooding, Reeves said the city could not produce running water, according to CNN. Issues stemming from the O.B. Curtis Water Plant left little to no water pressure, Mayor Chokwe Antar Lumumba said in a statement. Authorities expect the water shortage to last several days.

Sometimes a story breaks that is truly surprising in this otherwise highly predictable political environment, and that happened on Monday. Reports came out that Timothy Thibault, FBI Washington Field Office Assistant Special Agent in Charge (that’s a mouthful), had been escorted out of FBI headquarters by multiple “official-looking” individuals. Soon enough, it was confirmed that Thibault, who was also part of “election integrity” efforts during the 2020 election, had been removed for showing political bias and attempting to cover up the Hunter Biden laptop story as early as 2019. That was long before the DOJ’s 90-day policy prior to an election to not deal with politicized cases kicked in,

Since former President Donald Trump’s departure from the White House, CNN has struggled to pay the bills as a result of consistently pathetic post-Trump ratings and too many scandals to keep track of. But the legacy cable news network now faces an enemy within — in the form of its once-loyal and now-spicy viewers, and the collective power of their Twitter accounts. On Monday evening, the hashtag “#BoycottCNN” made Twitter’s coveted trending list, which means a lot of people are seeing it. I nearly brushed it off thinking it was probably just a typical conservative-led boycott of the network.
I was wrong. It was way better than that.

The top Republican on the House Oversight committee is accusing Joe Biden of using the government to shield himself and his son from fallout regarding information found on Hunter's laptop.
Biden appointed an Obama-era top CIA and Pentagon official to his national intelligence advisory board, despite his claims that Hunter's laptop was a product of Russian disinformation.
Representative James Comer of Kentucky told DailyMail.com that 'the Biden Administration has a pattern of using the power of the federal government to protect the Biden family and reward those who do their bidding.'

MIDDLETOWN, N.J. — Grocery store customers are walking off with those plastic hand baskets you find in the supermarket, an apparent consequence to New Jersey's plastic bag ban that went into effect this past spring. "They are just disappearing," said Louis Scaduto Jr., chief executive officer of Middletown-based Food Circus Super Markets, which owns four Super Foodtown stores in Monmouth County, in the northeastern part of the state. "I may actually have to just do away with them soon, can't afford to keep replacing them," Scaduto wrote in a text message. (Snip) Last May, New Jersey implemented the strictest carryout bag

The FBI’s news cycle just ain’t the same as it once was.
Mere moments after the Department of Justice and FBI released the near-completely redacted affidavit they used to justify raiding former President Donald Trump’s home, their super-dooper-secrecy was the subject of widespread ridicule.
They didn’t even catch a full minute’s peace. No Republican senators rushed to their defense (though a few were notably quiet). There was no “let’s wait and see” from the usual deep state apologists.
Instead, both Republican politicians and center-right media were quick to hit back against what they correctly viewed as a middle finger to both the court that ordered the affidavit’s release, and the American people

Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg’s admission last week that the FBI pushed the social media giant to censor Russian misinformation — and thus the Hunter Biden laptop story, as that’s how the agency and Democrats characterized it — shortly before the November 2020 election is but a breadcrumb of a bigger scandal: the widespread interference by the FBI in the 2020 presidential election with the potential that the bureau coordinated its efforts with the Biden campaign.

It isn’t as if we weren’t warned. Many people have observed for years now that the total exclusion of morality from the public square, and the refusal to declare that any behavior was wrong in itself, would lead to the normalization of all manner of abhorrent behavior. Such warnings seem almost quaint now, with drag queens in primary schools and toddlers being encouraged to undergo radical body mutilation. In this insane environment, it is no surprise whatsoever that the Left is now pushing to make pedophilia as normal as a walk in the park. The assault on traditional values is total and unyielding. No quarter will be given.

President Joe Biden caused quite a stir late last week after accusing supporters of former President Donald Trump of following a political creed of “semi-fascism.” But it’s yet another case of the far-left Democratic Party projecting its own grievous sins on the political opposition.
This was Saul Alinsky’s 13th rule: “Pick the target, freeze it, personalize it, and polarize it.” The Biden administration and the Democrats are following this rule to a T.
They constantly call Republicans, conservatives and those “deplorable” moderate Americans in middle America the most vile names – “racists,” “fascists,” “Nazis,” and worse –

President Biden’s plan to forgive student debt is clear: most students will get a $10,000 debt reduction, while lower-income students will be eligible to double the amount (an element that went unmentioned inmost reports). Biden’s August giveaway adds half a trillion dollars to the federal government’s debt deficit by some estimates. It’s easy to be generous with other people’s money.
Conservatives raise the issues of cost, value, inflation and economic impact. Liberals were happy with the move but disappointed by the amount forgiven.

Supporters for election integrity scored a major victory Friday when the Arizona Supreme Court held that Proposition 210 — a ballot initiative to undo Arizona’s new election integrity law, financed with George Soros’s money — cannot be on the November ballot due to a lack of valid signatures.
Arizona is one of the states that, in the aftermath of the 2020 election, decided that statutory reforms were needed to make it easy to vote, but hard to cheat, to increase public confidence in the election result.
Under the Arizona Constitution, laws passed by elected legislatures can be overridden by ballot initiatives.

Well, to be fair, Kamala Harris really can’t answer questions on any subject so failing to even try to answer a Fox News producer’s question about Joe Biden’s decision to cancel student loan debts is par for the course. It is fair that Kamala was asked the question because it is being reported that she was the one who convinced Biden to take the unconstitutional and likely illegal action. She teamed up with Chuck Schumer and Elizabeth Warren, possibly Senator Warnock, too, to encourage Biden to fulfill his campaign pledge. Janet Yellen and Jill Biden advised against it.
Kamala and her husband Doug were making an appearance
