Just The News and other media outlets are reporting that Tim Thibault — FBI Washington Field Office Assistant Special Agent in Charge — was escorted from bureau premises on Friday (we covered the story here). According to Ben Whedon of JTN, the reported removal of Thibault comes “amid whistleblower allegations that he showed political bias in his handling of politically sensitive investigations.” The Washington Times reported eyewitness accounts that “Mr. Thibault was seen exiting the bureau’s elevator last Friday escorted by two or three ‘headquarters-looking types.'” The article appears to have been updated and now states that Thibault “abruptly resigned” but that he was “forced to leave his post”

FBI corruption runs rich and deep. This agency cannot be trusted to keep our enemies at bay or critical security secrets safe. It should be abolished and replaced with something the public, the tax payers, can trust. The Russians and Chinese can see what is happening in Washington and are taking advantage. The people wearing business suits and drawing government paychecks are betraying the rest of us.

From what I have been reading elsewhere, this guy is behind a whole bunch of trouble regarding Trump, from spygate to the raid on Trump's residence in Florida. Good riddance to foul rubbish. Lots more of them need to be escorted out of the building.

He's the patsy. I'm betting he has agreed not to implicate anyone else in return for his retirement or some other perk, after the heat dies down. Maybe a cabin at one of the Epstein resorts we dont know about yet.
Shut the entire agency down. Fire all its employees and deny them federal employment for life. Replace them with nothing. Only then will I believe anyone in DC cares about this country.

Tim "Treasonous" Thibault and his thirst for power. He'll have the Demented Fuhrer as a reference.

The story links to one of his Twitter video posts. I watched it. Thibaut sounds light in the loafers, as they say. ("Not that there's anything wrong with that.")

Whistleblowers could be given a cash reward of one year of the guy’s pay that he brought down. The higher up the crook is on the food chain, the more he is rewarded.

Thibault is the sacrificial Lamb to protect the rest of the Treasonous scum which make up the FBI. I hope someone makes sure that the exceedingly effeminate Wray washes Melania's underwear and returns them!

So, it sounds like there are still SOME good agents in the FBI. Likely they were keeping their heads down until they started to see the reports that the public no longer trusts ANYONE in the FBI and decided that they needed to start reaching out to Congressional Reps to see if anyone would try to clean it up.
While I do not believe Thibault acted without tacit approval from above, that does not mean that they will not turn the agency back into a somewhat nonpartisan organization. Of course, I won't believe it is until I see evidence.

Perhaps I'm over thinking this but this is my answer: Timmy T is a scape goat. The FBI, Garland and Wray, know that they blew it big time. They took huge a risk raiding Trump's Mar-a-Lago digs and found nothing. No Nuclear secrets and receipts for spy services render with the initials VP, all mattress tags are still properly affixed and Melania's undergarments were all arranged in an orderly fashion.
The FBI has become completely politicized and we all know it. Suddenly wait no, it's not really the FBI just some rogue agent and we at the bureau don't tolerate such.

FTA - "Republican Rep. Jim Jordon of Ohio, a member of the House Judiciary Committee, has also been fielding FBI whistleblower allegations and has indicated his intention, should the GOP win the House in November, to investigate both the agency itself and the Justice Department in general."
This Thibault matter is deep, real deep. He has seriously damaged an already corrupted fbi. His resigning from the fbi will not relieve him of future court appearances and legal problems. Now we must also look for evidence of collusion between AG Garlic Man and Thiebault regarding their harassment of Trump.
Rep. Jordan's promise to investigate the fbi and doj must be fulfilled. The critical importance of achieving republican control of the House and Senate control in November should now be obvious to all if it wasn't already. And a key outcome of Rep. Jordan's efforts must be abolishment or significant re-purposing of the fbi. The doj must be thoroughly cleaned. Only then can the fourth branch of government, the surveillance branch, be removed.

It comes down to this. Thibault is the fall guy. He was the operations guy whereas Wray, Garland and the rest of the #JihadJunta were the brainiacs behind the whole “Get Trump” operation. Now the Gnus Media can trumpet that the “corruption” has been “rooted out” and the same game can proceed unabated. Don’t fall for this charade!

As the whole saga seeps out from whistleblowers the FBI and DOJ are getting squeezed. The operation to get Trump is still happening but their power and acts are being called into question. Agent Thibault is falling on the sword possibly to save top crook Wray and others. I don't believe this is the end of this with one firing this is the tip of the iceberg. Trust but verify as a certain President use to say.

This is just for show prior to indicting Trump. When accused of political bias they can claim bias is never tolerated and cite the firing of this patsy as evidence. The media of course will then dismiss as absurd any and all criticism by pointing to this one action as proof that there cannot be any serious problem of bias at the FBI

I have no doubt in my mind that Meritless and Wray have nothing to do with this. If fact, this is the kinda guy they give Atta Boys to. I wonder if Durham has anything to do with this?
