Just when you think he can’t go lower, he does. Oh, who am I kidding, we all thought Joe Biden could go lower in regards to approval rating, and the latest survey from Quinnipiac has his numbers rivaling a punch to the face.
To be clear, this isn’t just a record low for Biden in this specific poll, but as far as I can tell, it’s a record low overall, regarding any poll. For the moment, this is the deepest in the hole the current president has ever been. It’s also a five-point drop in just a week. When you break down the numbers, things don’t get any better.

Russia has admitted that the flagship of its Black Sea Fleet - the Moskva - was in flames on Thursday, with Ukraine claiming to have hit it with missiles.
Russia's defence ministry said the Moskva missile cruiser had been badly damaged after ammunition on board was blown up by the fire.
In comments reported by Tass news agency, the ministry said: "As a result of a fire on the Moskva missile cruiser, ammunition detonated."
The crew, believed to number around 500, were all saved, they added.
The statement did not say what had caused the initial fire, saying it was under investigation.

Conservatives called out the post for appearing to treat Texas as a different country for its conservative lean.

The reaction by some to Donald Trump’s endorsement of Dr. Mehmet Oz in the U.S. Senate race in Pennsylvania seems a bit over the top. I mean, I get it on some levels: Oz isn’t great on the issues, isn’t a conservative rockstar (as if Pennsylvania produces any), and is an unknown commodity in electoral politics (see Trump, Donald J., circa 2015). But everyone needs to take a deep breath and understand that Oz is 10 times better than former hedgefund CEO Dave McCormick. And in Trump’s mind, maybe 50 times better.

Police announced earlier that Frank R. James was a “person of interest” in the Brooklyn subway attack in which at least 10 people were shot and at least 13 others were injured. The police have not yet said whether or not they believe he is the shooter in the attack. They believe James rented a U-haul vehicle they have connected to the attack.
Police describe how they worked it out. The attacker used a smoke bomb inside a subway car in Brooklyn and then shot people in the car. The suspect was described as a 5’5″ black male, heavyset, in a green construction vest and a gray sweatshirt.
