Kathy Hochul’s terrible judgment leads
to one terrible day

Gov. Kathy Hochul rushed to the microphones Tuesday to reassure New Yorkers following the Brooklyn subway shootings. She should’ve stood in bed.
Out tumbled a jumble of half-thoughts, unfocused and haltingly delivered, underscoring what has been apparent for some time now — which is that New York’s latest accidental governor would be out of her depth in a Buffalo mud puddle. Which, in a manner of speaking, is where she came from.
Hochul’s horrible day also included news that her handpicked, staunchly defended lieutenant governor, Brian Benjamin, had just been arrested on federal corruption charges. Benjamin would be gone by day’s end, of course, but the matter will linger.

Take notice from the article that her husband is in position to make a bundle off the Buffalo stadium deal. Hochul probably got advice from Pelosi on how to stream money to your husband when you are a top political official.

She's a stupid, Marxist, hateful Dem. Of course she gets it wrong all the time. Everything she believes IS NOT TRUE.

Hochul makes NYers wish for Andrew. She's as tone deaf as Kammie Harris. And she's as grifty as FJB. Where does the Democrat party find these political hacks?

How would it have mattered if the governor was standing in her bed?

I'm not a psychologist but the first sentence out of this idiot's mouth revealed what a weak, shallow, incompetent hack and a poor leader she is. She actually promised "no more" and "never again" on an event that occurs in her state's biggest city at least once a week.

It's obvious that she doesn't deserve to get elected.

The 'Age of Aquarius' as predicted by Progressives, Liberals, and Hippies is unfolding all around us! The chaos that that the emergence of those ideas is bringing is not what was advertised. And they are lost! Time to buy a vowel!

Observers who watched Cuomo and said 'It can't get any worse' were probably dismayed but entirely unsurprised when...it got worse.
Mommie Dearest is an especially odious combination of tyrant, excuse-maker, nag, scold and flat-out liar.
Remember her threat to replace doctors & nurses with so-called National Guardsmen? Were these highly-medically-trained National Guardsman sitting around in their fatigues playing pinochle waiting for the call-up? Who was paying them? Where were they stationed? How and why did a governor have the authority to fire privately-employed medical professionals?
Or was it all a ruse, a bluff? Media asked none of these painfully obvious questions.
Speaking of media, for decades we were softsoaped with the idea that women in politics would bring empathy, a sense of nurturing, a desire to build consensus etc. Quite predictably, what we got instead was pettiness, thin skins, cattiness, carrying of grudges, kneejerk responses to any real or perceived slight and a marked inability to see the big picture. Whitmer, Hochul, the Squad, Pelosi, Clinton, Waters, Jackson Lee and yes, Ernst and others on 'our side.'
They made covid response infinitely worse with the conceit that they were protecting people and with the barely-concealed rage at being wrong.

FTA: She should’ve stood in bed.
Legendary sports reporter Shirley Povich (yes, Maury Povich’s father) quoted fight promoter Joe Jacobs (the picturesque character who also coined the phrase “we wuz robbed”) when he got out of a sickbed to attend the 1935 World Series between the Tigers and the Cubs on a wet, cold and windy October day. When Povich (or some other reporter with Povich) asked him what he thought of baseball, he replied, “I should have stood in bed.” Povich wrote that into a column and the phrase immediately became famous.
But I remember it from a Bugs Bunny cartoon. https://ne-np.facebook.com/80DanceClassic/videos/looney-tunes-bugs-bunny-hareway-to-the-stars/318025226907399/ (2:10 mark)
